Description
Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, opened in 2021 and offers 715 rooms in a modern 7-floor building with direct access to a private sandy beach only 10 meters away. The resort features 12 bars and restaurants including a trattoria and five specialized dining venues, with dinner reservations required due to high demand. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities such as kayaking, snorkeling, paddleboarding, volleyball, and fitness classes, along with evening shows and creative workshops like ceramics. Families will find dedicated kids' facilities including a club for ages 4–12, a teen club for 13–17, playgrounds, and a water park. The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards (rated 10/10) and provides amenities like free WiFi, air conditioning, and 24-hour reception. While the property is visually appealing and well-maintained, guests should note the resort is somewhat isolated from Cancun's city center and transportation options are limited and costly.
Location
Hilton Cancun is located 15 kilometers from Cancun International Airport (CUN), making airport transfers fairly convenient. It sits on the first beachfront line with a private sandy beach just 10 meters from the hotel, ensuring easy beach access. However, the resort is isolated from downtown Cancun, and guests typically need to use taxis or the hotel’s shuttle service to reach the city, as Uber is prohibited. The hotel entrance is about 4 kilometers from the main road, which affects transportation availability and costs. This location makes the resort a quiet retreat but less suitable for travelers wanting frequent city excursions.

Reviews
The check-in process felt quite strange. My room upgrade request was declined in an inappropriate manner despite my Hilton Honors Gold status. Additionally, no one assisted us in locating our room, and there was no introduction to the hotel facilities- we were simply told to find all information in the app.
The room itself was very noisy due to constant traffic from buses and service vehicles outside the windows. A request to change the room was declined, and the receptionist even mentioned that my Gold status meant nothing for this booking. Housekeeping also skipped our room twice, despite the sign on the door requesting service.
On the positive side, the food quality was generally good, and the entertainment program was decent, though not outstanding. It was surprising that the bars did not provide a clear drinks menu of what could be ordered. The biggest drawback of the hotel is the beach, which is almost nonexistent.
The highlights were the wonderful Kids’ Club staff and the generally friendly hotel personnel, although some bartenders and reception staff were less welcoming. The swimming pool is pleasant, but the hot tubs were disappointing, with noticeably dirty water.
Regarding the all-inclusive restaurants, the Italian restaurant was excellent, while the Mexican restaurant was the weakest.
Overall, the hotel has potential thanks to its modern appearance and some great staff members, but improvements in service consistency, cleanliness, communication, and beach access would significantly enhance the guest experience.
