Hotel Obelisco in Playa de Palma

Stayed 1 night due to flight cancellation. Very rude and unhelpful receptionist late at night on arrival. Room dirty, used a tissue to press the toilet flush as it was sticky, not even a bottle of water in the room, no hand wash for the sink.Very noisy rooms, could hear doors all night and furniture being moved in other rooms. Could also hear everything outside from 12th floor

I couldn’t stay they never found my reservation.

Call the staff twice and said I was not on their system.

Choose another hotel
On the good side, the room was clean and the hotel is close to the bus stop.

I originally booked a room only for me as my husband couldn't make it. Fortunately, he was able to join me so when checking into the hotel, I asked to add one more person to my room. Keep in mind that my room had already a queen size bed so there was no need for a change of room.

We ended up paying a lot more money that what we would have paid by cancelling our reservation and booking a double room that day. We honestly felt scammed and the whole thing was very sketchy.

Additionally, there is little to no noise isolation between the rooms. We were not able to sleep most of the night as the room beside us kept talking and laughing. We are not staying at this hotel again.
