They upgraded us to a better room for free, saying it was the best one in the hotel. The facilities clearly show some age, and it's my first time encountering a hotel that charges 2 euros for luggage storage.

Excellent standard of hotel in a quiet but very convenient location. Superior room was spacious and very comfortable. Great shower and air conditioning. Much better than we expected for the price, we even had a small balcony which was lovely. Will definitely return on a future trip.

Very clean hotel, staff were friendly, location was excellent - short walk to Las Ramblas and there is a food market on your doorstep. So close to various places you'd want to go to, good transport links nearby. No issues.

The location was great. The room was very nice although I had an issue with the coffee machine. The rooftop pool and bar were probably my favorite part of the hotel and the bar stays open until 10:30pm.

The room is very new. I arrived in the morning and there was no room available. I moved to the hotel opposite and then moved back the next day.

Great stay. The room was lovely, and we were even upgraded to a king bed. The walls are unfortunately quite thin and I could hear our neighbour snoring all night, and their TV streaming services weren't working when we were there, and the pool is smaller than it looks in the pictures, but nothing to get upset over!

We booked this hotel on web. We were upgraded when we came to superior room. Its beautiful hotel. Room.is big,very clean,2 tv in room. There was kettle in the room with cofee and tea, iron and iron bord. Hotel has parking garage (20 e per day). 15 min to Sagrada Familia,metro station 5 mi from.hotel. Lady on reception was very very nice. I would go back for sure. The hotel worth the money.

The hotel was sparkling clean. Ideally located close to a bus stop and 5 minutes walk from the underground metro. The staff were really polite and helpful. Overall a superb experience. I highly recommend staying here.

I stayed at Hotel Catalonia a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised! The staff are really kind and helpful and speak really good English. They had no trouble providing gluten and lactose free breakfast when I asked for it. They even provided me with a (pre-paid!) gluten free lunch for the day after. Lovely clean well located property with friendly staff, however please don't be shy in refusing to give your email address and phone number which isn't for the local authorities rather to start sending you spam emailS within moments of you checking in, confirming you subscribe to their loyalty program, then further email contact inciting additional bookings. We spent 9 nights at this lovely little hotel in September 2025. We have stayed a few times before and will return again next summer. The rooms are lovely, large and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom with powerful shower,the air conditioning is perfect and the rooms are quiet with really good double glazing to keep the rooms peaceful. The property was well placed to the port area and other parts of palamos. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and the room and shower was good.

Good hotel and an even better restaurant

We lived our 4 night stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel very clean and breakfast was yummy. We really relaxed and found the hotel quiet but still close enough to the beach and town. We hired a car and parking can be difficult to find, especially in July when we travelled.

Hotel has very good location near, 10 minutes on foot from Gaudi's Casa Batlo and Casa Mira, and 30 minutes from Sagrada Familia. Employees are polite and helpful. Facilities are in good condition, room was clean and was cleaned every day. Breakfast costs 12 and it was okay for me but if you like big variety at the breakfast you might not be satisfied because it had only omelette from eggs for 2 days...

Overall, a good hotel, though it could use a slight improvement in cleanliness. The rooms were quite small, but the bathroom was excellent. The hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from the historical center and 15 minutes walk from the bus station. They have a restaurant (was closed when I was there) or you walk to Plaza Mayor or around it to find restaurants and other shops, although there are 1 or 2 bars closer. This is a great business hotel. Clean and comfortable with bathtubs in some rooms. No fridges or kettles in the room, which would be nice. Good location.

I stayed here while sightseeing at the Sagrada Familia, which is about a 7-minute walk from the hotel. I took the subway from the airport to get there. A taxi back to the airport cost about 36 euros. The room wasn't large, but it was clean. There were no amenities. Bath towels and face towels were provided. I bought dinner at the supermarket nearby and ate it in my room. In reception, A lady with long hair and glasses is really friendly, helpful, courteous and responsible. On the last day, we hv 6 pieces of luggage. She help us move our luggage to a taxi . One disadvantage is a little weak air conditioning Near Barcelona tourist spots and good restaurants

All went well: the room was ready before the check in time, so the front desk team kindly gave us the room earlier than expected. Good location, room was big enough to spend three days in two people. Front desk always helpful and kind

Set your expectations accordingly. This facility is probably one of the nicer ones on the strip, but it is definitely dated. It is reasonably clean and the staff are friendly, but the air conditioning leaves something to be desired as do the number of pillows and towels. breakfast was decent with a large selection of pastries. The balcony is dated and ours had water dripping from the structure above...

Perfect location opposite a very swimable beach and in the heart of Roses close to really good restaurants. Also opposite very accessible and reasonable priced parking. Highly recommended. Will return.

This is a lovely hotel on the beach in Roses, Spain. We opted not to have water view and were thrilled with our shaded balcony and street view from the second floor. Breakfast buffet was very good!

Well placed 3 star hotel. The hotel was in a quiet suburb with a Chinese buffet restaurant opposite. Well used furniture and as a non smoking room, the evidence of burnt butt marks on the bath edges seen Noisy AC just adequate. Breakfast would have been better if omelette was provided. Good for a 3 star so no complaints.

Pretty average hotel, is clean but decor is a bit dated. Just like most hotels in spain it has a parking garage (this one is free) but they are all very tight to manovre. Hotel Quality Reus Offers basic hotel facilities so good if you want to go and party in Reus but I would not recommend if you want to spend time in a room.

Hotel Medes II was a lovely hotel with amazing food and a great location and a very nice swimming pool. The staff were pleasant.

The room was in a slightly out-of-the-way location, but overall it was okay. It was clean and spacious, and the breakfast was quite plentiful. It's relatively quiet outside of Barcelona city center, close to the Mediterranean Sea, and only a ten-minute taxi ride to the airport.

A lovely place to stay for a few nights! The accommodations feel more like spacious apartments, featuring two rooms and a convenient kitchenette. Just a short walk from great restaurants and the beach. The hosts also offer excellent local recommendations.

We stayed for a week and only wish it could have been longer. This is a lovely clean, quiet hotel in a good location central to beaches in the area. Staff were all very friendly, the pool is a real bonus for a 3 star hotel, aircon worked well and breakfast far exceeded our expectations. Beds were comfortable and everything was spotless.

We stayed one night on our way back home. The location is nearby a beautiful area to walk along beaches. When checking in, we were told we had been upgraded (probably because the hotel was under renovated). Good stay overall. Excellent beachfront location near a calm cove, if you book directly parking is only 6 euro. Breakfast is excellent, with a patio directly across from the ocean to eat at and the pool is warm. Very nice rooftop deck as well although as of this writing in May 2023 it appears under renovation. Net net a very good value for the money.

Located near Saints Station, the rooms are spacious, clean, and hygienic. Early check-in is possible if rooms are available. Highly recommended.

The check in went quick. The room is pretty small and needs refurbishment. Blinds for the window were in a bad condition. Bathroom was dirty, hairs in the bath and smelley. Breakfast is ok but in a very unfriendly apperience, It feels 'cold' there. Location is good, close to the Stants station.

Under renovation - new rooms This 50 room hotel is currently undergoing a major renovation. The first night we had a room with a broken toilet. The reception was very kind and upgraded us to one of only two rooms where the renovation was completed. What a difference!! The location was very accessible. However, after we checked in, the AC in our room was not functioning so we had to switch to another room on the first floor which was smaller and very noisy as it was beside the restaurant. We tried to request for a different room but they said all spare rooms have problem with the AC. Hopefully they should check the quality of their rooms ahead before accepting reservations...
