While my stay at the hotel was pleasant overall, I was surprised to find that certain amenities I consider standard for a 4- or 5-star hotel were missing. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea, a bath towel, and a chair in the room are basic expectations at this level of service. The infinity pool is beautiful, but the service is quite average, not up to five-star hotel standards.

The room amenities were as described online, though the beds looked quite old and the facilities were generally average. The lighting in the room was a bit dim. I really would recommend this hotel. The staff is really nice and the service is great. The hotel rooms are very clean. The hotel is neglected, the parking lot is dirt with holes, and the lighting is poor at night. They don't inform you that all the restaurants will be closed, and you have to queue to get in. As for PortAventura World, the theme park is awful. I don't plan to ever return unless they change their system of charging for everything.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and close to the sea, the train station, and the bus stop right across the street. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and the breakfast is a pure delight. The staff are attentive, bilingual (French, English, Spanish), and the spa is convenient for relaxing.

The large glass windows couldn't be opened, and I personally prefer ventilation and fresh air. The soundproofing was poor. Absolutely phenomenal hotel .The staff here is very well trained. The room we had is beautiful with views. The location is beautiful and right next to the beach. They even have a free shuttle from the hotel to plaça Catalunya.  We loved our time here and we are so sad to have left and wish we could be there longer. The service is excellent too. Stayed at a fantastic hotel in Barcelona. I've also stayed at hotels from this brand in places like Shanghai and Nanjing, and they've always been great! Planning to book 'her' again on my next trip to Barcelona, it's truly wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ritz-Carlton Arts in Barcelona. The suite had an incredible panoramic view of the city and the Mediterranean which made the stay memorable. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable. The staff was attentive and always kind which made everything feel easy and relaxed. A 5-star experience from start to finish.

Hotel has a massive problem with mosquitoes inside the hotel. Lots of people full of bites although many like myself wore repellent. Trying to have a drink in the bar at night was awful as we were constantly bombarded with mosquitoes. Even in the restaurant the mosquitoes were settling on the glasses and food. It was a good stay at the hotel, we didn't face any problems. The rooms are good, but the air conditioning doesn't work. If you have a room overlooking the highway, it will be difficult to open the balcony door to get some air in, as the air conditioning won't work because the cars will disturb you and make it difficult to sleep. The food was good and varied.

The experience you get from this hotel will fully depend on who you are. English will not have a great time. Spanish guest get better service. hotel is in a quite part of cambrils with a lovely beach just a two minute walk away. the rooms was very clean and house keeping came every morning. wardrobe had plenty of space and beds were comfy. the food was okay. same food every day so did get a bit boring and chicken wasn’t always cooked fully. but i would go back again and did enjoy my stay.

Came with 21 family members here now, 2nd time in salou 1st time at dorada palace , food isn't the best here and location, few bars and restaurants outside the hotel, taxis into salou are expensive in my opinion. Beautiful views, fine clean sand, a cozy bay and enough space on the beach. The rooms are quite cozy, for 4 person was a plenty of room. We booked this hotel based on good reviews and seeking to avoid Lloret de Mar. At just under £1000 for 6 nights for the three of us, half board, it was a good deal. Our stay has been great. Enjoyed every moment of our stay . Staff were cheerful and friendly. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Food was good . Especially the breakfast was excellent with variety of cheese bread biscuits fruit and English breakfast.

I must say the food surprised me with how nice it was however after a few days it does get a little bit repetitive if you're staying there for 7 days +. Rooms were always cleaned well. Things I would improve is leaving non slippery mats next to the pools as many kids slipped over and bumped the heads (even whilst walking so it wasn't the case of children running).
