The hotel staff are the reason for the 5 star rating, they was helpful, polite and welcoming , it makes a big difference when they are like this. Location was good about a 5 minute walk from the main sqaure

We booked 3 nights and found the staff and hotel really pleasant. Javier welcomed us on the first day and was very friendly. All the staff were very helpful a d spoke good English

Just got back from a lovely 4 night stay. The location is great and is around a 10 minute walk to las rambla, and around 50 minutes to the beach! Lots of nice shops, restaurants and supermarkets near to the hotel

The breakfast was delicious and well worth the extra money. The rooms was not big but enough for 2 persons. Rooms were very quiet and bed was comfortable

The restaurant only serves breakfast, which is a buffet, and the only hot item you can order is eggs. The location is also very convenient; you can start a city walk right outside the door

I also missed some complementary water in the room since the tap water was of course not very tasty as is usually the case near the sea. There was also no kettle to make some tea or so in the room

The views from the room are simple incredible! The bed was comfortable. Would have really preferred having an Electric kettle. Location was beautiful but a bit far from the centre.

I love to stay at Hotel Estela every time I visit Sitges! It's in a great location with the Marina restaurants and bars nearby, the little beach across the road, and a lovely outdoor pool area. Highly recommend!

we had a sea view suite which was lovely. Parking at the hotel is 30euros per night and very tight so we used the port car park as you get a special price and much more space

Perhaps it is not new and requires reinvention, but its colorfulness covers up all the foreseeable disadvantages. The view from the window is amazing

We had a fabulous time at the Hotel Catalonia Magdalena in Barcelona. The hotel had a great location in the Bari Gothic quarter a block away from Via Laietana. Easy access to shopping and restaurants and transportation

The hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly, and the rooftop terrace is very cozy. The rooms were always cleaned very early, which was great if you arrived at the hotel early in the afternoon

Best service I’ve had from a hotel ever. Simo is the probably the nicest concierge in all of Barcelona.  Helped me locate my lost phone.  Would recommend to all travelers, well worth the money.

If you have time, it is recommended to go to the rooftop swimming pool on the 6th floor to feel the sunset, and don't forget to get welcome champagne from the bar!

Abel and Yaray are very extremely helpful porters. We stayed in room 405 With great views swimming pool and the sea. It has three proper single beds. It’s perfect for an adult than two kids Or a couple and one kid

This was our 3rd visit and would definitely recommend this hotel. It’s was perfect for our family holiday. We stayed for breakfast and evening meal with plot food to choose from

I arrived and they told me to pay for the room, it was already paid even with extra deposit of 100€, we were arguing about that. The lift was not working and while repairing the lift there was no light

S'Agaro Mar Hotel is in a lovely quiet setting with views out to sea. The little bits of worn furniture and a few other things that others have mentioned really cause no problem

Good aircondition, nice bed and very good staff. Pool area was nice and hotel close to the beach. Bathroom was good but very small and noisy toilet. The "seaview" could be better, it was really a view over the playground

The hotel is good but too bad the staff are very unwelcoming, friendliness non-existent, no contact possible, the first receptionist was fine, but afterward, it's totally freezing cold, we say hello, no one answers you,!!! apart from a waitress with short hair with a lock, glasses, who, she was very professional and welcoming, otherwise we had no smile, exchange throughout the stay, not a single kindness...

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Urpi. My room was always cleaned every day and the location was near two train stations (10 min). It was near Plaza Major wich has great restaurants and stores.

Booked this holiday last minute and decided to go self catering. Arrived at 12pm but was aware check in wasn’t til 4pm however our room was ready so was a bonus for us. We was aware before arriving of the €200 deposit

All staff seemed friendly and the cleaners did a good job. Local singers in the bar at night for entertainment. Pool area well maintained although I do think it could get crowded in summer as the area isn’t too big

Always smiled when we walked passed and greeted us. Hotel food was also very good, lots of choices, deserts and fruits. The swimming pool was clean and the bar was also very good, Quiet just how we like it

Room was spotlessly clean and with 2 double beds and a sofa bed we wasn’t short of sleeping options. Room was well equipped and had everything you need for self catering

Very limited parking, make sure you pre book a space if you need to park at the hotel, i was lucky as i was travelling out of season, and there was 1 space free

I really don't understand the bad reviews. For the price paid we received more than we aspect. From the housekeeping to the restaurant, every member of staff was so kind and helpful

We have been going to this hotel for a few year's but it has new owners and this is the 1st time back. It's very close to beach, shops, restaurants

The only down fall is there is no umbrellas round the pool were thay are needed

A larger terraced area on first floor with lots of sunbeds and artificial grass. the food was plentiuful and varied, lots of options for both breakfast and dinner. always looked frresh and well presented

Staff were all pleasant and helpful Hotel has 2 pools both quite small and a jaccuzi. The sun doesnt come round the pools all day so have to judge when to be at what pool foir best rays

We arrived just after midnight, check in was very easy we was given our key and a card for breakfast we was allocated a room on the 4th floor the room was adequate for a 3 night stay the beds were comfortable we had a balcony with a couple of chairs the bathroom cleanliness could’ve been better

The room was made up daily though, bins emptied and toilet roll replenished. Buffet breakfast had lots of variety from cooked breakfasts to continental, cereals, toast, jams and fresh fruit

Perfect for a base of operations for the lads or for couples looking for a cheap place to stay, one pool table closed at 21:00, breakfast is basic, but remember, this is a budget hotel

For a budget hotel, it does the job. The rooms are clean, the water is hot, and the beds are comfortable, you get what you need to stay for a couple of day's in Lloret De Mar

What you don't get, is a way to make a cup of Tea, but with a shop on the corner, with cerveza (beers) for 80¢ and iced coffees for 1€, it's all good

The hotel is located in the suburbs, far from the city center, but it has a pool and is very good value for money. The bar on the first floor of the hotel is good and reasonably priced, although they don't serve meals

The staff can speak English well, and I asked them to arrange a taxi for me because I was leaving early in the morning, and the taxi arrived before my reservation time

Hotel near Rambla Nueva, 2 km walking to famous Balcón del Mediterráneo. Clean rooms, staff very friendly. Only a bit negative is not so big choice for breakfast. For this price offer should be wider.

We went to the hotel a few weeks ago, my wife is Spanish and she had always wanted to visit the hotel, unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the hot springs as we had to leave, but we will come back in the summer to enjoy it, otherwise, the room is very comfortable The dinner was delicious, we loved the kindness of chef Tony, the waiters were very attentive, without a doubt a good experience!!!

They lack empathy and kindness with the national people who were the ones who occupied the hotel for the most part this May 1 weekend

My only gripe: The rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the street quite a bit. And the neighbours has a young child, when they screamed (which they have the right to do), you could hear them quite clearly

It's a great hitel to stay at when in Barcelona. First, the location is great. Minutes from the metro, seconds from the harbour, not far from the beach, and about 10 min walk to the gothic quarter
