me and my wife was booked in for a weeks holiday,the room was that of a 2 star bathroom well need i say more ,food was 2 star ,we only had 1 meal and vowed not to eat there again and went to local cafes which where great,staff was ok ,then after 3 night we decided to move hotel and the one we went to was absolutly brilliant should of gone there in the first place

The rudest service and most incompetent staff members I have ever encountered in my life. My family and I booked the hotel room for 6 nights. My sister booked another hotel nearby due to belated arrival. Nonetheless, she was not allowed to visit us during the day on the premises of our hotel and have lunch with us. Up to the 5th day of our stay the stuff members were not only disrespectful but rude towards us and our situation. Furthermore, the cleaning service is absolutely terrible and incompetent. We kindly asked a cleaning lady to change our bed sheets for the first time on the 5th day of our stay. She instead refused to do it and shouted at us in Spanish and I am assuming due to ‘extra’ inconvenience for her to do her job that we paid for. In the buffet, the staff is arrogant and abrupt. I was accidentally in the way of one of the waitress and she nudged me to the side without apologizing ( unfortunately it didn’t happen only once.) Moreover, as the waitress wanted to take away my plate with still not finished food I tried to kindly tell her that I am still eating and in response she rolled her eyes at me. One of the so-called ‘pros’ of this hotel is the sea view and its location which is close to the beach. However, between the hotel and beach there is a massive parking lot which completely ruins the view. Therefore, not even the view outweighs the horrid cons of the hotel. This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I wish I was exaggerating this experience but that’s exactly what happened during these 5 days. Family trip turned into a stressful vacation due to disrespectful behavior and revolting attitude from the staff members that we clearly overpaid for. Shame on the Hotel Rosamar Maritim! Dear readers, please adhere to what I am writing and ease your holidays by not going to this hotel. Thank you!

Starting with the positive. The breakfast was great. A huge choice if options that should suit all tastes. Incredibly fresh fruit and bread with freshly cooked eggs and meats are available. Room had a balcony that overlooked the rear of the hotel. Incredibly smelly and noisy if you wanted to sit outside or keep the door open. Be warned it stinks! Sheets and towels changed daily which was fantastic. This might have been due to the "air conditioning". Really a remarkable feat to have a system that produces the most feeble amount of air into a room. No difference to temperature inside if this was on or not. Very dated and ineffective. Toothpaste left smeared on the mirror in the bathroom from the previous guests and not cleaned for our stay of 6 days. TV didn't work and fridge (which was a nice surprise) leaked. The biggest let down was the staff. A polish family remained at the property for the entire stay and took over the pool and searing area. After 2 days of being harassed by the male members of the family and their children when I tried to use the pool I made efforts to draw attention to the behaviour towards the females in the group. One of the men began shouting at me, picked up a chair to throw at me and after his female companion stopped him began grabbing and thrusting his groin at me and telling me to "f**k off out of their pool". All watched by a hotel staff member who did absolutely nothing. And I mean absolutely nothing, even when I checked he could see what was happening. Reported to reception staff and the manager in hotel opposite (owned by the same group). A wall of silence from them. Beware of grubby rooms, ineffective air conditioning, totally indifferent staff to assaults by threatening and intimidating guests. Does have a good breakfast though....
