Recently completely refurbished, this 4 star hotel has a modern, minimalistic vibe. Airy & light with comfortable seating. We only visited the bar, so I can't say anything about the rooms & as it was night time, I couldn't really see the garden but I will definitely return during the daytime.

Nice enough hotel but there was a cockroach in my bathroom, which is just not acceptable in a 4 star hotel in a major city like Barcelona. The staff were very casual when I reported it and even suggested I had left a window open (I hadn't and the bathroom is at the opposite end of the room from the windows). The spa was a perfect antidote for throbbing feet and aching body after a day of walking. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. We had our best meals in the restaurants around the hotel. Public transportation is easily accessible and main attractions are walkable. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a glorious stay!

Had one bad night due to noisy guests in next room. But night clerk took care of it quickly and effectively. Pool deck in rough shape. But understandable as we were informed that the whole place will be getting a re-fit in the winter. Otherwise, would stay here again. Steve from Canada

We booked a duplex room but only got two single rooms. The service is good, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, the rooms are not clean, the location is about a 15-minute walk from Catalonia Square.

Everything that they presented in The hotel services costs money and they didnt present it in the Agoda app before. Basic things like, fridge, spa, sauna, gym, scaling baggage, parking, tea/coffee. I used the Agoda app. I asked for some guidance around and they didnt attend me personally and brushed me off.

The majority of guests are French and the food on offer reflects this.Pigs trotters and snails etc. The balconies are tiny. There are small gardens containing bushes around the pool area and they are a breeding ground for mosquitoes as the gardens are watered on a regular basis. Most of the staff are friendly.

Stayed here 1st week of September. Nice clean hotel with room service and fresh towels everyday. Great location for beach , restaurants & bars. We were on b&b only so can’t comment on evening food but breakfast was good with a good selection of hot or cold produce. The location is right across the road from the beach and all amenities. I booked a single room and well it is small but, it is very clean and modern which made it comfortable for my three night stay.

Old hotel with no improvements since 80's. Good location but horrible to find a place to park in the streets cos the hotel charge you €15 per day to park inside. In my room the carpets were really dirt, the air conditioner didn't work in any day that I was there and the balcony slide door didn't lock at all so you room is always open. The hotel is run very efficiently. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. Our room (junior suite) was huge. We had a great balcony/terrace, and great view towards the sea. Parking in a safe and sufficiently large parking lot belonging to the hotel was a big plus. Would definitely stay there again.

Under floor heating was very much appreciated as we enter the cooler period (visit December). Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, substantial buffet breakfast, off street parking all helped the stay. Were not guest of the hotel, but have used the restaurant several times and ALWAYS been satisfied with the service and food quality to the extent we are surprised by some of the negative reviews. One night we visited when the hotel restaurant was booked for the equivalent of a 'debutante' party for a young Honduran lady's coming of age and the staff coped with us and the party admirably.

The 1st night the fire alarm went off at 3am for no apparent reason, the 2nd night there was a power cut. The hotel is looking very tired and a number alteration have Ben done on the cheap. The WiFi is very inconsistent, the food was very basic.All in all the is better for the money paid locally.

Hotel Florida has been our family favorite for 10 years! We can always trust that the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. We love seeing them every year. We love that it is family owned. We really like the rooftop jacuzzi after a day at the beach.

The placement of the hotel was right next to the most turistic area (passeig maritim) and so close to the beach. The service, food and facilities were awesome. With a must needed parking and a pool. Goʻd placecto stay We stayed at the Ampura inn for 5 nights. The hotel was very clean and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was quite large and had a fridge. The only thing missing was a plug for the wash basin but this is quite common in Spain and France. The buffet breakfast was excellent with something for everybody. The pool is also to be recommended

The Road is very crowdy but inside and the pool area invites you to stay longer

Good value for the price. Nice with many amenities: gym, pool, spa, sauna, restaurant, bar, elevator. This hotel dates back many years but still offers interesting features as mentionned. Room is clean and the personnel is very quick to answer any question or request you may have. Good breakfast offer ($).

Stayed here a few days while skydiving. Hotel staff is great and very friendly. However the rooms need some updating. Not a lot of ventilation in the bathroom and rooms are humid. Beds are outdated and room has tons of mosquitoes. Walls are thin, you can hear everyone talking all the way down the hall. Definitely would find a different place in the future.

The staff were the real stars of the place, from the man who took care of the breakfast to the front desk staff , the cleaning team and the night watchmen. Lovely comfortable beds and cosy swimming area.

I absolutely loved the vibe of this hotel! So cozy, cute and quite - exactly what my boyfriend and I needed for a weekend get away from the city. If you're searching for an animation, theme dinner and activities to stay in all the time - that's not your place, but honestly there are so many things to do in the town and around so that I don't understand people who complain abouit it being a boring...

Simply amazing value! Old, but charming and very well maintained building. Great varied breakfast, very calm at the pool, friendly staff, rooms very clean and comfortable.

Enjoyable building sorrounded by a vivid garden and with an inviting swimming pool. City center is at 15/20 minutes walk and at the same distance you can find the beautiful beach of Saint Pol and the hiking route over the amazing rocky beaches. The rooms are well equipped, some also with balcony. The WiFi is super powerful and stable. Very kind and attentive personnel. The breakfast is extremely rich...
