great restaurant, rooms need a bit of a renovation

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in The Port Salins hotel! A warm welcome at reception, a lovely room with a spacious balcony overlooking the canal, and in a very central location. Although we never used it, the pool looked so inviting. Our evening sitting on the balcony was relaxing and most enjoyable - a highlight of our stay!! The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was a godsend...

One of the best Restaurants in the area, nice seating with a views, perfect cousine, away of tourists, awesome desserts. Chief menu is perfect as well as the main list. Booking in advance recommended.

Public areas of hotel were nice - modern decor and comfortable. Pool area and rooftop bar very attractively furnished. Rooms were clean but dated - chips and scuffs on furnishings, chipped toilet seat, no amenities in room apart from shampoo and shower gel - and 2 free cartons of water . Corridors were basic, did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel.

My recent experience at BPM Lloret Hotel in Lloret de Mar was exceptional. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable and the staff at the reception were always available and willing to assist with any requests. Great place with a nice design

Friendly staff (almost all of them). Good breakfast. Extra thanks for cleaning persons as room was everyday as one would love that their home is. Definately considering again if coming back to this area. Only negative side is paper thin walls so you will hear when someone comes, goes or does something. A very comfortable hotel, ideal for families with children. The rooms are clean, spacious, and pleasantly furnished. The fully equipped kitchen is a real bonus, allowing you to cook whenever you feel like it, or when you're on a budget for eating out. The staff is competent, attentive, and welcoming. A very pleasant stay for our teenagers and ourselves.

We loved our stay at Ancora apartments! Our one bedroom apartment was so nice and had everything we needed for our stay. So close to the beach and shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments are lovely, with a large comfortable sofa, dining area and kitchen.

We had to pay €20 for sheets and towels. You have to pay a tourist tax of €10.56 per apartment. Very bad check-in times: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. You have to take out the trash and wash the dishes when you leave the apartment, and they check it before returning your deposit.

We booked late in the day, and checked in around 6pm. I was surprised that it was November and the room rate was still expensive at over €242/night + breakfast. The room was a bit small, but the plus point was that I liked the sea view, and the mattress was quite comfortable.

The room wasn't big, but it was very clean. It was very close to the station, with a bus stop right outside the door. It was also close to the L3 subway station, and there were a Consum and Macadona supermarkets nearby.

We booked a Classic queen room but we got a double and were told only have king and double rooms and no kings available. Booked the hotel as it had a pool but on arrival noticed pool closed for maintenance. Had not been advised by the hotel. Had a kettle in the room but only provided with tea bags queried this and was told no coffee if you want coffee have to pay €10 a day for a machine and pods...

Breakfast was about the same as other hotels, it was not free, in fact it was higher priced than other hotels. Everything else was great though.

Comfortable hotel in a handy location. We have stayed there before but this time they had replaced the room kettle with a coffee machine - no use for tea drinkers!

The placement of the hotel was right next to the most turistic area (passeig maritim) and so close to the beach. The service, food and facilities were awesome. With a must needed parking and a pool. Had a lovely 5 day stay at this beautiful hotel which provides very easy access to the centre of Girona (short bus ride or walk). Staff unfailingly helpful and pleasant. Nice enough hotel but there was a cockroach in my bathroom, which is just not acceptable in a 4 star hotel in a major city like Barcelona. We booked a duplex room but only got two single rooms. The service is good, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast, the rooms are not clean, the location is about a 15-minute walk from Catalonia Square.

This is a very good place to stay with kids Very close to the beach. And the beach itself is very nice. The residence we book is overlooking the sea and it is splendid. We are planning to come back there this summer again.

Good stay overall. Excellent beachfront location near a calm cove, if you book directly parking is only 6 euro. Breakfast is excellent, with a patio directly across from the ocean to eat at and the pool is warm. Very nice rooftop deck as well although as of this writing in May 2023 it appears under renovation. Net net a very good value for the money.

I arrived and they told me to pay for the room, it was already paid even with extra deposit of 100€, we were arguing about that. The lift was not working and while repairing the lift there was no light. The hotel itself is nice (at least the part visible to the guests), there is a pool and beautiful view on the sea. After my stay, I did not feel very happy with the hotel. It's apparently a 4 star hotel although it doesn't give that sensation. We went there for a couple of nights to relax and it was amazing. Getting a room with a beachside balcony view is worth it! The views from our balcony were great! Make sure to catch the sunrise! Set in the perfect location if you're looking to escape the crowds, this is a charming hotel and while the rooms are relatively basic, everything else is top notch. 5 mins walk from Platja Fonda, the staff are brilliant, the breakfast is excellent and the other meals we had were so good. Stayed here with my Wife after a two week drive across Europe. Very nice secluded place nestled in a woodland setting. Bedrooms need some updating as they aren't cosy. Word of caution: The access road to the hotel looks like the aftermath of an earthquake so be careful whilst driving as it is completely unpaved.
