Stayed here for my cousin’s wedding this past August, and it was an incredible experience. The hotel itself is stunning — a charming, vintage-style property with a timeless feel

The service was outstanding from start to finish — from the bellman and front desk to the waitstaff, everyone was attentive and welcoming

Check-in quick and very friendly, glass of bubbly if that floats your boat. The hotel has the feel of a grand country house with generously sized rooms, a separate closet/ room for clothing etc and a good-sized bathroom

I stayed here for 2 nights in 4 days, same room both times so cannot comment on different room types. From the moment you walk through the entrance the welcome is very warm

Beautiful hotel set midst of the city center. 1 minute walk from beautiful outdoor shopping plaza while it’s backyard is the lively lake trail. Hotel staffs were nothing short of sweet

The restaurant is fairly close to the station, just a short walk away. The facilities are a bit old and have a slight odor. The sink drainage seems weak and prone to clogging. The restaurant staff are very friendly.

Some examples of the service include (i) delivering $100 in cash to us in town when we found ourselves in an establishment that only accepted cash, (ii) apologizing that one of the hotel’s complimentary Bentleys was going to take five minutes to arrive to pick us up from dinner (and then it showed up in about one minute!), (iii) without us even requesting it, they lugged our big bags onto our train...

I stayed 5 days in 2 different rooms. Conveniently located next to train station. Quiet area across the tracks from busy commercial district. Front desk manager was rude and seemed to be annoyed with our questions

The accommodation is opposite the train station. There is a supermarket nearby. There are shops and restaurants around. But the room did not match the one booked. Booked a room for 4 people but slept 3 people

The hotel is right next to the train station, not too noisy, and the breakfast is good. One thing to note is that there is no one at the front desk at 10 pm, and you need to bring a card to enter

Extremely clean and beautiful hotel. The mountain view from some rooms was truly amazing, and you could even take your breakfast from the buffet back to your room to enjoy it on the balcony

The lobby and common areas are spacious and comfortable, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the swimming pool and spa facilities are quite impressive

It is also okay to continue parking after checking out until you finish your afternoon tour. The service staff are very enthusiastic. The room has slippers of good quality, the minibar is free, and there is a gym and spa

This hotel is very nice, located halfway up the mountain, quieter and more comfortable than the hotels on the roadside. Breakfast is available until 11 o'clock. There are many varieties and hot food

The pool, wellness and spa centre is a real treat and so needed after a full day of activities. The breakfast is classic continental with hot orders upon request

The location is superb, with private access to the Matterhorn Glacier Express gondolas (via private access elevator, steps from the private ski room). The rooms are terrific, comfortable and luxurious

Junior suites are spacious with great Matterhorn views. Staff was very helpful throughout the stay. Breakfast was terrific and plentiful and they offer baggies and bread for take away sandwhiches

The Swiss charm, decor and warmth are experienced throughout the hotel at every turn. We had the most glorious unobstructed view of the Matterhorn, as do most rooms

Best part is the hotel has its own exclusive elevator to the gondola station. Berghof is one of the best examples of a Swiss family owned/run hotel in Zermatt

It is a chalet style but with a modern twist to provide a more open environment It has a range of high end modern eclectic art on its walls for sale providing an everchanging aesthetic environment The rooms are also of high standard and importantly the mattress is of utmost comfort

We had the pleasure of two weekday stays recently and cannot praise enough this modern atmospheric hotel in a spectacular setting The common area is massive and you do not need to choose social distancing it is dictated by accident or design by the layout

Absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel Zermama. With its boutique vibes you really feel like a valued guest. Fondue on the balcony is great, views of the Matterhorn are incredible, the faux fur robes are 10/10 warm

The pool/snack bar was certainly overwhelmed during the peak days and seating was limited and service hard to get - so may have just been a staffing issue. BUT everything else was so lovely we would definitely stay again

All of the room options are very close to the main lobby/pool area. Breakfast buffet was great and pool so nice. Although in the summer we did need to get down early to grab pool chairs before they were all taken

The front desk was friendly but somewhat limited in being able to suggest good restaurants in town. My only complaint is the restaurant and bar staff tended to always come across stressed and rude

Probably one of the most child friendly hotels we have been in Switzerland. Excellent facilities and huge green park to play table tennis, soccer , Minigolf, swings and even toys
