Really nice hotel. Our rooms looked like they were from the sixties, but they were clean and warm. However, this hotel shines regarding the food, service and pool. Also it's right next to the ski-lift.

My family and I stayed here in December 2021. The location is second to none as we were on the gondola in minutes and also minutes from town. The food was very good and all the staff were helpful and friendly

Is there anything better after a day in the snow than a swim in the hotel spa? We cannot wait to got back

Outstanding location and ammenities, the ski lift is only 50m from the accommodation.

The location was very good, near the chapel bridge and close to a number of restaurants, including in the hotel itself and not too far from the train station. The rooms were a decent size and had a definite retro feel

There was no air conditioning, but were provided with a fan. The bed was an old spring style one with a lean on it and I didn't really get a good night's sleep both nights I was there

I defintely loved the old time feel of the hotel, as it was memorable and different and on my trip it had to be one of the standout ones

The facilities are OK, there is hot and cold water, the room is a little old, the surrounding environment is good, the staff is warm and service-oriented. The sanitation is OK, and the sheets and bedding have no smell.

The scenery around the hotel is very good, and the bus is very convenient. The attitude of the lady at the front desk is also good, but the parking is a little tight, and the catering staff are average and cold

The room faces the lake, and the restaurant is also by the lake. You can enjoy the view from the balcony of the room. The restaurant has three meals a day and there is a direct bus No. 21. I like this hotel

It was already dark when I arrived that night. The next morning, I was attracted by the beautiful lake view. The breakfast was also very good. It is worth recommending.

Very good. The room is big and there is a balcony. It's very warm. The balcony is semi-open and a little cold, but the view is great.

Would advise to book the restaurant early as we missed out on our first choice although that was partly down to difficulties in communication (we don't speak German and the person didn't speak good English or French) and somewhat inattentiveness of the front desk person who knew we were deciding but chose to book a table for an outside guest right in front of us

The location was amazing, right in the centre of Gstaad and next to the train station. The rooms were super clean and organised. Overall the whole experience was delightful

This hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located. It's just a 2-minute walk from the train station, right behind and to the right once you exit, which saved us the hassle of dragging our luggage uphill

I arrived at 12 PM that day, and luckily the room was ready, so I checked in right away. I was in room 324, which had a huge balcony facing the snowy mountains and the 'dream hill'

The hotel is super convenient, right by the station, so no dragging luggage uphill! I stayed for four nights this time and had emailed ahead to request a high floor

The hotel breakfast was decent too – orange juice, fruit, bread, etc. For Switzerland, it's pretty much a 200 CHF per person breakfast

The cheese fondue wasn't really to our taste, but it's much cheaper than in Zurich, so it's worth trying for the experience

It offers a good choice of set menus at lunchtime and a small but superb list of dishes in the evening. So if you work, are visiting or live in Zug, definitely try it out (weekdays only)

The rooms and facilities were very clean and well kept, cleaned daily with nice shampoos and teas - we loved the mix between old authentic Swiss style and modern. The breakfast was great, fresh and lots of variety

Hotel Ochsen has 2 first-class restaurants. Whilst Au Premier is the best option for special occasions, the less prestigious Bar du Boeuf is highly recommendable for going out regularly

Spa facilities were also fantastic and you can reserve for free so you have a private time allocated. Overall this hotel was perfect, I will be recommending to friends and family too

As with the previous 2 hotels, the breakfast was yummaliscious. Zug is a great place to visit from the UK, i. it's an easy train ride from Zurich. A return is definitely guaranteed

This price is quite reasonable for Switzerland. The room was decent, the bathroom was spacious, and towels, bath towels, and slippers were provided

Comfortable room and great breakfast! By far the most value for money place I've slept in at Switzerland, and Zermatt is supposed to be more expensive than all other places

The hotel is really close to the train station, and the Gornergrat train station (for the Matterhorn) is right across from it. It's pretty easy to find – just take the small path opposite the Patek Philippe store

The room and staff were first class. Baggage storage, completed check in so we could easily get keys when we returned from day out. Wished we could of enjoyed the place longer than the 1 night

The View across the Rhone valley is spectacular and on a good day you can see the Matterhorn- I think every room has a view. The sauna steam room and cold plunge pool are all very clean and function perfectly

They even tell you what to wear according to weather which shows caring of home and kindess. If I ever come to this beautiful place again I would definitely book this hotel. They offer free parking on site too

Both times we stayed here our room had a fully functioning kitchen that you really could cook a meal in if you wanted to. The breakfast was extensive and fresh

Nice location, heated pool, spacious room but no service in the Parkhotel. Check-in has to be done on a screen - machine didn't work and I had to go to the Villa Leopoldo

I stayed 5 days in 2 different rooms. Conveniently located next to train station. Quiet area across the tracks from busy commercial district. Front desk manager was rude and seemed to be annoyed with our questions

The accommodation is opposite the train station. There is a supermarket nearby. There are shops and restaurants around. But the room did not match the one booked. Booked a room for 4 people but slept 3 people

Hotel is approximately 10mins walk from Zermatt train station. There is a bus stop to Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station about 4mins away from the hotel, very convenient

Its 15 minuten walk to the trainstation. so thats nice but Indië not sleep well the noise from outside was awful the train and tram. And the room is really really budget. price is wayyyyy to high for that room

The room is small, cause it’s budget inn. Otherwise everything is clean and comfortable. Suits for solo travelers, or 2 people groups. And nice to stay in here. Location is near to Basel Bahnhoff by bus.

The rooms are comfortable but no coffee or tea making facilities. There's not much to do immediately around the hotel but with tram access, you are only minutes from being in the heart of Basel

Best part is the hotel has its own exclusive elevator to the gondola station. Berghof is one of the best examples of a Swiss family owned/run hotel in Zermatt

Seems as if they don't want to mention the upgrade fee at first but will tell you that this room is what we have but with some prompting, found that an upgrade was needed to get a much better room
