Absolutely outstanding stay at Hotel Zermama. With its boutique vibes you really feel like a valued guest. Fondue on the balcony is great, views of the Matterhorn are incredible, the faux fur robes are 10/10 warm. It’s literally across from the mountain cable car for skiing. Roberto went above and beyond with his hospitality and helpfulness. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel and great location! We stayed here for 2nights in September 2025. Short walk from the train station. Highly recommend a room facing the Matterhorn! Breakfast was well worth it.

We had the best, and I mean THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIME at Zermama. The ladies at the reception were super welcoming, helpful and sweet. The rooms were clean, spacious and we had a lovely view of the matternhorn right from our balcony. This was our first time ever in Zermatt and we're forever grateful to Zermama for making this experience that much more special.

Hotel Zermama is simply wow. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much love, style, and personality went into every corner of this place. The design is so thoughtful and full of character that you keep discovering new little details everywhere.

One of the absolute highlights?
You can actually enjoy a fondue right on your balcony.
Matterhorn view, fresh air, cozy vibes — it’s an experience you don’t forget.

The restaurant and bar are just as beautiful. Stunning interior, a great atmosphere, and truly amazing drinks. We took drinks to the room and enjoyed it on the amazing balcony!

A huge thank you to the reception team as well. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. You really feel taken care of from the first second.

In short:
Zermama completely impressed us. A hotel with soul, charm, and unbelievable style. Absolutely recommended!

Zermama was a great little spot for our short stay in Zermatt. Excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the train station (including Gornergrat scenic train) and with an awesome view of the Matterhorn.
The room was really cosy and clean, and service was prompt and friendly when we asked for additional pillows and for room service. Breakfast was okay, but dinner in the restaurant downstairs was great.
Upon arrival early afternoon, no one was at reception to check us in - we spoke to a guy in the restaurant. Although he was very friendly and helped us out.
Would stay there again!

It's not often that I'd give 5 stars to a hotel (No!.. It's the first time)
In reality, this place has an official 3 star rating .. I really not know why!.. It's simply a nice clean friendly hotel .. Ok! it doesn't have any fancy stuff like swimming pools & jacuzzis.. But on everything else, it ticks so many boxes.. At the top of the list is the staff .. from the room cleaning, through to the reception, their friendly nature & balanced attentiveness holds no bounds ..
A special mention must go to the Breakfast staff, they are the best! It's nice to be greeted each morning with a genuine smile, followed by the essential question ... Would you like tea or coffee and how would you like your egg's done?? Then to sit down to a nice classic Continental Breakfast .. It's just the best! In the course of my work travels .. I stay in a lots of hotels, big & small .. One thing i do dislike.. particularly with the larger chain's, are staff who are encouraged to dance around my table.. then disappearing just when I need more milk or ketchup!! It's not the case here .. The young man & woman who served my breakfast over the course of my stay, achieved, near breakfast perfection!!

The Admiral is a cosy place, situated a few minutes walk from the high street. The rooms are clean & well serviced, most balconies have a view of Matterhorn, mine did! as you can see from my photo of the view from room 204.. Well I could go on .. but instead I'll just say.. A Big thanks to the Admiral Team for helping make my stay an absolute pleasure!!

A very good hotel. Clean, with very good location. Reasonably priced considering the neighborhood. The breakfast was also very good.They even gave me a complimentary Swiss chocolate bar on my way out!

Unique venue, good for a night out. The gallery / movie theatre / concert hall turns into a club at night. The venue is split into several floors, each having its own ambiance.

We staying in backstage hotel serviced apartment for 2 nights, good facilities and view from the apartment however the distance to walk to the Main Street is a bit far for us because we have children and infant with us.
The checkout procedure is troublesome, because we need to go to the hotel to do checkout.

Cool hotel with a modern design. We really enjoyed the SPA experience, the floating room in particular. The staff are really friendly and attentive. We would like to thank Chris and Mila in particular who were really helpful, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. The hotel is located in a great location, close to near by shops and restaurants. The rooms are really cozy with a fire place which really adds to the romance. We loved it so much we ended up staying an extra night. Thank you, Backstage Boutique hotel, we will be back!
