Location - It's about a 7-minute walk from the station, so you'll need to take a detour, but Zermatt itself is quite small, so getting around isn't difficult (pickup is available upon request)

We had a great stay at the Woodward, travelling 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel is 500 meters away from the most busy part of the lake promenade, which we liked, as there was less noise during night time

The hotel is of very high quality, build from quality material, which you cannot always say of new hotels. Suites are big and lights, heating, wifi etc is top notch. Check in/out was effective and personal

The pool was nice but small- would’ve been nicer if it was outdoors in the glass sliding doors were kept open during the day as the weather was so beautiful. Our stay in Lugano was pleasant and we had a lovely time there

Where do I start? The Havana Deck Cigar4 Lounge overlooking the Lake or the Japanese Restaurant? The room was spotless with Personal AC, Japanese bidet in the toilet, out-of-this-world water pressure, breathtaking views, your own balcony with lounge chairs overlooking the lake, super comfy mattress and pillows

Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely

The view from our room was incredible and the room was very large and nice. The hotel has a couple of restaurants we did not make it to and a cool bar with a great view

Well appointed room, huge bathroom with shower, separated WC area, double sink. Excellent 4-course menui on half board. Nice heated outdoor pool with jacuzzi, big indoor pool

An amazing experience at a fantastic hotel! The staff were all incredible, especially coping with a medical emergency i had upon arrival! Swift action, straight to medical centre and problem resolved! The property is lake front! Amazing views, very friendly staff. Only one note…. The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbors. We were not so lucky to get the quiet ones. Overall excellent stay.

The hotel is located in the mid-levels which you can oversee the mountains in the restaurant and the balcony in your room. It is a simple, quiet and beautiful boutique hotel with no air-conditioner

The hotel offers beautiful views of Ascona, the lake and the mountains. It has a heated swimming pool and a beautiful garden. The rooms were very clean and welcoming

Amazing hotel with fantastic access to 4 Vallées ski area, inculding Verbier. Very spacious and comfortable rooms with lots of storage. Spa is wonderful with lots of different Saunas and Hammams

The best part is the outdoor infinity pool with stunning views of the Alps across the Rhône valley

The mayan room suits us with young children - the main room has a big and comfortable super double bed, and the kid's 'bedroom' is a mezzanine with no wall partition, hanging over with 2 singles (pushed together) for a 'sleepover'

We had a really good holiday staying at Sunstar Hotel Klosters Switzerland. I know it was their low season but this must rate as one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in, not even a noise from closing doors

Our room was very well furnished, beautifully clean and had a balcony that looked out along the valley. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and we had good choice at breakfast

The hotel is a convienient short walk from the station so we were able to use the Davos/Klosters Card which gave us free local rail travel and discounted cableway travel, which certainly enhanced our holiday

Not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel. Furnishings are very basic and breakfast staff are extremely terrible to customers. They can't wait to close breakfast at 1001am

The new wellness area with heated indoor and outdoor pools is particularly impressive – an absolute paradise after a day in the mountains. The view of the Jungfrau and the Lauterbrunnen Valley is unbeatable

Every single person working at this hotel was engaged, friendly, helpful, good humored, and seemed to enjoy working there, from the shuttle driver, to the front desk, staff, to the folks working at the spa, to the bartenders and servers in the restaurant

Conclusion: If you're looking for a luxurious but not stuffy hotel in the Swiss Alps, this is the perfect place. Tip: If possible, book a room with a balcony and valley view – the view is worth every penny

The ambiance is warm and very tasteful (lots of wood and natural stone). The team is young, international, and extremely welcoming, even though English is more often spoken than German in the service

The newly renovated Grand Hotel Belvedere is a true highlight in Wengen. In my opinion, the combination of historical charm and modern, 'casual luxury' is exceptionally well executed

But once you get there, the location is beautiful. The hotel does offer a shuttle/e-car/bus transport. It's quiet, overlooks the town, views of the mountains, perfect secluded space

We stayed for the first time at Blatter's Bellavista, for two nights. And we loved it - is an understatement. We were upgraded for free to a corner room - and much enjoyed to be woken up by the sun in the morning

We stay at this Hotel year by year as the location and service is exceptional. Staff is very friendly and facilities allow relaxing time also when weather conditions are not optimal.

We also much enjoyed the spa and pool area, a decent size indoor pool and please treat yourself for a nice massage! We will be back!

This is a great hotel, this is the second time I have stayed here. The staff (desk, restaurant, bar, room service) are all friendly and clearly committed to making one’s stay as enjoyable as possible

Although the Spa is very beautiful the outdoor whirlpool didn't work. This wouldn't be a problem if we would have received a heads up. Sadly they did not tell ua at check in that the Whirlpool was broken

The patient answers from the front desk staff make tourists relax! The nostalgic little elevator is very safe and can accommodate one or two people at a time! The room is warmly decorated and the mattress is very comfortable to sleep on! Breakfast is rich and fresh! Every day, several handsome waiters are busy working diligently, with slightly serious expressions, but very dedicated!

It's an old-fashioned Swiss hotel. Although it's not the most luxurious hotel, a young boy with a dark complexion at the front desk is very good. He is sincere and courteous, and the price/performance ratio is not bad

It doesn't happen often to be able to stay at hotels where you can still immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Belle Epoque, but Hotel Victoria, family run and part of the Relais Chateaux chain, does give you this opportunity
