Was very lucky to get my room to upgraded to opposite hotel(where you check in). 5 star luxury hotel with nice view. Room very spacious and clean. Thanks for the free upgrade! Breakfast was very simple as we didnt upgrade to americian breakfast.

This has been the most satisfying hotel of my trip to Switzerland so far. Check-in, check-out, and breakfast were all handled at the Royal Plaza Hotel across the street. The location of Eden Rock is simply amazing, with the lake right at your doorstep and a beach that’s hard to beat. It’s stunningly beautiful, and you can easily spend days just taking in the view or making use of the stand-up paddles and kayaks provided. Breakfast was another highlight – a thoughtful selection, not too big but just right, with excellent quality products that we truly appreciated.

Beware when staying here. The AC in rooms is preset at 24 C with the ability to reduce the temp only by up to 3 C....netting out at 21C best case. Generally it did not work so our room was always about 23C, which for my family is too warm. Also the restaurant in evenings is absurdly overpriced and the food not great...they focus more on presentation than taste. The town is great so if you stay here...

This is the classic hotel of the town. Located up on a hill, a short easy walk into the town if you feel like it if not the hotel has many mini vans that will take you down and pick you up. Very near to Matterhof station, which is just 2 stations away from Luzern. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Hotel breakfast is decent. I stayed in family suite and room size is relatively spacious. Strongly recommended if you can get a good room rate.

It's just opposite the train station, and there's an underground exit that leads directly to the hotel entrance, making it very suitable for a transfer on the day you first arrive. The hotel's breakfast is excellent, the restaurant environment is very high-end, and the service is very considerate!

The hotel was amazing! We enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately the parking lots are not enough, so book them in advance!

The room was clean, breakfast nice (though could have had more options), the balcony was gorgeous and the spa was amazing. It was lacking a few basic amenities like conditioner, a mini fridge, espresso capsules for each day. The room was also quite tight for two people to stay in. But overall this was made up for by the atmosphere of the hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Paid for 3 days of half board, only able to eat one time because of reservations. There was no reimbursement. I understand this isn't the hotels fault but the children in the hotel are absolutely unbearable. I slept incredibly poorly the entire time. This is an established hotel with a fantastic location and unbeatable views from its lake view rooms. The rooms, however, are a bit dated in design, and the facilities aren't the most modern. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the service was quite attentive. Considering Swiss prices, it offers very good value for money.

Stayed for four nights in a family suite, which was comfortable and large enough, with good service. People in the small city were very welcoming, the food was good, and it was by the lake, and when the sun was out you could see the sunrise and sunset, with nice scenery.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is the excellent soundproofing! There is a city activity day on the weekend. I know it is extremely noisy outside, but I can hardly hear the sound. This is a clean and neat business hotel adjoining the Trafo conference hall. It is located close to the train station on the opposite side to the main town. Rooms are small but well equipped. The staff are efficient and Dana deserve special mention for her friendly service and flexibility.
