Land is incredibly expensive in Zurich, so the price and location are quite reasonable. Trains and trams are just a few hundred meters away, and the Co-op is across the street. I saw many crews staying at this hotel. To see Einstein at ETH, take bus 46. Both receptionists were very nice, and the breakfast staff was also very friendly. Weekend breakfast is from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM, which is great, but...

The front desk service was great, the transportation was convenient, and the room environment was nice. The only problem was that the air conditioner didn't work well. Even when it was turned off, it was still very noisy. However, there was a main switch in the room that could completely turn off the air conditioner, so it stopped being noisy. Overall, it was OK!

Hotel is on the way to the main zurich station from the airport and just a 5 minute walk from oerlikon station. Room was lovely, clean and serviced every day. The staff were all really friendly. 

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast was good. I’m not impressed as I was double charged as I prepaid online while making room reservation via Trip.com and I was charged again upon checkout at hotel. Seeking refund.

It's the typical Ibis experience – very compact, the shower is tiny, but everything else is pretty decent.

the place is clean, the washroom is normal. However, it is discovered that the water flow away slowly in the washroom.

Couldn't check in at 3 PM, had to wait until 3:30 PM and prompt them to finally get my room. The room size was comfortable, but unfortunately, the cleanliness was subpar. The most crucial issue was the lack of air conditioning, with only a fan provided.

Beautiful stay. the breakfast and the spa were the highlights! The thing that stood out the most among the other hotels was the free ski shuttle and they will also pick you up from the local train station. The staff was super helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Great history, rooms, view, and food. I believe this is the only hotel to consider in the Upper Engadin for an overall premium stay.

The Grand Hotel Kronenhof is a truly beautiful hotel with beautiful architecture and wonderful hospitality. Truly an incredible place all around. Artur at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back at the next chance we get.

The hotel is nice with excellent location near the report. Thee hotel also have free shuttle bus to and from the airport.

The hotel service was excellent, and the room was clean. We even had a direct view of the Matterhorn from our double room window! The breakfast was fantastic, with a great selection of fruits, salads, and bread.

Average Swiss fare, I could not really judge service as I only stayed one night. In that area and segment, hotels fall flat by offering sub-standard service. so OK for one-night stay for sure.

I was very happy with the hotel's location; it was super convenient for getting around! The room layout was also very practical. My only complaint is that there was no air conditioning. I didn't expect the sun to generate so much heat through the floor-to-ceiling windows, even in early April!

Very good location, close to Train station and bus interchange (can take bus to Chamonix or some other destinations), and quite some restaurants surrounding, so easy for dinning. Very friendly front desk staff, provide us city map and introduce how to go to the landmark, informed us can get free boat ticket at Geniva Lake with our booking and sent to us thru email. Room is clean. Overall recommended

Hard to comment on staff and service as the interaction with them across our entire stay would surmount to under 5 minutes. You could say they were efficient though not engaging. If you are only looking for a bed for the night then this dormitory would meet your needs. Budget accommodation without the frills in a handy location to the railway station. Close t Rooms were small but comfortable. One of the smallest elevators I’ve ever seen. The area around the train station where the hotel is located is not the best. It’s convenient if you need proximity to the train station.

Breakfast is very good and the accommodation is comfortable. There were many restaurants around from different nationalities but nothing traditional from Switzerland.

The neighborhood is a little intimidating on arrival, but everything went very well. The spa is great, the breakfast is also great, the staff is excellent, and the price is very reasonable.

This was the perfect hotel for a solo trip to Lausanne. The single room was perfect for just me, the amenities were great, and it was a 7 minute walk from the train station. Super easy to find, in a great location, and perfect when you don't need a big fancy room just for yourself. Would definitely stay here again.

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. They never replied to my emails, which made communication frustrating. There were two top quality comforters on a super king bed - this was the first time in our decades of traveling experience that we had something like this, like we have in our own home. Fantastic place, very welcoming team, old world charm and modern amenities, well-thought spaces. Absolute fantastic value for money, and can only recommend it for everyone, and especially for LHW members. Went here at the last minute and didn't regret it. Many first class aspects: the breakfast, the outdoor pool, the James Bond bar, the kids club - staffed on a Saturday night. Our stay at Villars Palace was wonderful. The atmosphere was very peaceful, making it perfect for relaxation. We especially loved the coffee bar — excellent quality and a great place to unwind. The hotel is in an old building next to the train station. It is well decorated and worthy of its five-star rating. The bed is large and comfortable, and there is a balcony. It is a great hotel for family trips!
