Unbelievable, a gorgeous property. The photos do not do it justice. We will be back
The team were very welcoming and were also very kind making us an early breakfast so we could eat before our flight from Zanzibar
We recently celebrated our anniversary at Zanzi Resort, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of
We stayed in an ocean front villa with a private pool, which offered excellent privacy and seclusion—something we particularly appreciated as a Muslim couple
Amazing Resort!
Thank you for everything! We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary and had a lovely dinner at the beach! Everything was amazing, so friendly staff and exellent food and service!
The setting allowed us to fully relax without concern, and the villa itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed
Everything about this hotel is 5*!! The property is extremely well maintained! The food was absolutely delicious, every single member of staff was so lovely, attentive and welcoming! We sat out on the jetty every day to view sunset - breathtaking views and we also managed to see some dolphins! Thank you for looking after us so well and giving our family some wonderful memories :)

Furthermore, it was immaculately clean (as other reviewers state, the cleaners come in twice daily, and the sheets and towels are replaced regularly)
Food in the evenings included a variety of vegetables and salads, and as well as a selection of meat and vegetarian dishes each evening, there was almost always fresh fish being cooked on the grill, which was delicious
The accommodation is extremely spacious (the villa that we stayed in was over 100 square meters, with an outside covered terrace and situated right on the edge of the beach, with a stunning view of the sea)
We opted for a half-board formula (breakfast and evening meal) and enjoyed delicious breakfasts with a selection of fresh fruit juices, fresh tropical fruits, eggs, pancakes, waffles and pastries
One of the stand-out features of this hotel is the service. The staff and management are not only very friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble for them - but extremely professional
The gardens are also beautiful, full of a range colourful plants and trees, and kept impeccable

Every interaction, from the friendly greetings in the morning to the thoughtful touches throughout the day, showed how much they genuinely care about their guests' experience
we truly enjoyed our stay here, Shafi and the hotel team were very helpful and privided an excellent service. We would definitely recommend.
After a week of safari in mainland, we were dleighted to rest in such a great place. The team had been very welcoming and always available. The Chef has developped a tasty menu - always fresh products for good value
Our stay at Hakuna Majiwe was amazing. The location is great, close to Paje center, yet far enough to have a quiet time, surounded by beautiful nature. The crown jewel of this hotel are it`s employees
We were only one hour away from the Stone Town or the North beach where you swam with dolphins. The whole team, includinf the kitesurf instructoe, has been very friendly and helpful
We all enjoyed walking along the peaceful and beautiful beach only 10 minutes walk from the busy Jambiani where you can find bars if you’re looking for a fun night

Hors Piste arranged for our extended family to stay at Jambiani Villas at the end of our safari--what a great plan! Our beachfront villa had a pool, was immaculately clean, and was well maintained with air conditioned bed rooms
First and most importantly, the hotel is very clean. Cleaning service is daily, they do their job thoroughly. Comparing to other hotels, Jambiani Villas have the cleanest pool, restaurant and rooms
Moreover, hotel service is professional, helpful and fiendly, manager constantly collects feedback from guests. We can sincerely recommend the private BBQ, which provides delicious food and an unique atmosphere
The staff served with efficient kindness, and the food was wonderful. The younger members of our family found fun excursions from beach front vendors. One of our two top favorites of lodging in Tanzania
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was phenomenal and the shows spectacular. It was a very pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend Jambiani Villas to all.
Jambiani villa ( Kusini) is a beautiful 3 bed villa on the jambiani beach , which is situtated on the southeren side of Zanzibar , its calm and oeacful there ideal for families .

Great place to stay for a holiday!
- Nice and clean room with an amazing view
- Friendly staff
- Great housekeeping
- Perfect location
- Breakfast is good, fresh fruit/juice, omelette and all kinds of other warm and cold options
Comfortable rooms, ok breakfast, very nice dinners. Always fishing boats to watch when the tide is in. Great swimming beach when the tide was coming and going. I would recommend this small non alcoholic Beach Hotel
BEAUTIFUL outdoor area! Very kind employees from Reception to Spa, cleaning and Restaurant. Rooms are spacious with sufficient room for 3 big single/queen beds and luggage without it feeling crammed
Simple interior but we were only in the room for sleeping and it had good nets thst was prepared each night. Did not see one single mosquito inside. Bedsheets clean but with a few permanent stains
Given guard on the premises I felt safe with just a suitcase in front of the door but preferably the lock had been a bit more solid. Does not change the conclusion: AWESOME hotel
Great value for money!
Fantastic 3 star hotel in Nungwi!
Great location in a quiet part of Nungwi. Private beach area with no salesmen

The food was not extraordinary, but it was good, the rooms were clean, close to the beach, I recommend this hotel, we liked it, it is very quiet, perfect for relaxation. The water in the pool is clean
This adults-only boutique hotel is intimate, with a limited number of rooms arranged around a central pool area, offering a peaceful and private atmosphere
The staff was exceptional—always kind, attentive, and smiling. While they maintained a relaxed demeanor, they worked tirelessly, particularly during the New Year’s Eve celebrations, which were a highlight of our stay
We stayed in room B3 on the ground floor and were impressed by the cleanliness and care provided by the housekeeping staff, who visited twice daily—once in the morning and once in the evening around dinnertime
We opted for the all-inclusive package, which included breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, as well as unlimited access to cocktails, soft drinks, and water throughout the day
There was always a vegetarian option, as well as classic dishes like hamburgers (available as beef, fish, or vegetarian) served with fries. The food was consistently tasty and fresh

Private pool with loungers that you can be served both food and drinks at, perfect place to relax amongst a lovely manicured garden. Dinner and drinks on the rooftop terrace to see the sun set over the harbour water
Food was excellent with great seafood and continental dishes. Drinks were reasonable and solidly strong with lots of cocktails. My wife has stayed here before and we would both stay here again! Thank you Seyyida!
It's good, but there is no parking space. It cost 20 dollars to park on the street.
Stayed here while we spent an evening in Stonetown, lovely hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well-kept with the charm of a period Zanzibarian building
Well located location. Hearty breakfast. Very caring staff.
Thank you to GM Lee who took excellent care of us (including organising our tour to Stone Town) and to our very kind and extremely attentive butler, Abel - we could not have asked for a better way to end our magical three week safari in East Africa
Xanadu, saved our first vacation to Zanzibar. We had booked 11 nights elsewhere on the Island and checked out after 7 (see Mora report). Xanadu was a completely different experience and one which we hope to repeat
Each villa has an oversized luxurious bedroom with either an upstairs or downstairs indoor/outdoor living room and plunge pool
Our teenagers could enjoy their own villa and space and we came together as a family for all three decadent meals each day, which we enjoyed either on the private beach, beach deck, in one of our villas or around the breathtaking main pool
All Villas are uniquely designed, private and served by a pool with a short walk to the reception area or the beach
The arrival sets the scene, a broken road leads to a hidden gate house, then slightly beyond a mysterious gate opens to a memorable welcome from Leigh (GM) and Jessica (Private Butler)

Aircon is fine on grid power but off on hotel generator system. Sunbeds comfy……I’m on one now. Bar is good as is restaurant…. /although the menu could be improved for fussy eaters like me. Need on catamaran this morning
Beach has sellers on it that can be annoying but firm for two days and that stopped any hassle. The new hotel being built next door was sometimes noisy……but not Waridi’s fault
My boyfriend and I failed to use them and would sit there to dry after a shower, we would sleep with the ac and fan on and also window open to get enough air in despite of mosquitoes! I think it’s important to renew your rooms and buy better quality towels because we put these towels on our bodies! Good hygiene is very important otherwise, if the hygiene was good, we would have loved to come back to...
This is Africa and this is an African hotel. Not everything is going to be perfect…. but this is our third time in Zanzibar and it is a great place to relax
The beach was nice, but unfortunately, it was impossible to go swimming in the sea because local merchants stood right behind the resort beach and intrusively offered their products and excursions, and they were not tolerant even when you politely told them you were not interested
When we were leaving, they forced us to fill out a satisfaction form, even though we told the receptionist five times that we would fill it out online, which at four in the morning does not make a good impression on the customer

Our trip was a fantastic journey into wilderness and pure nature. We had spend a wonderful week with great outdoor activities and exploring the whole island. The staff was very welcoming and warmhearted
We enjoyed snorkeling, tidal walks, forest trails, crab walks and a lot more while learning more about ecological subjects. The cabins were very comfortable and the food was also absolutely delicous!
Tropical paradise with awesome snorkeling, monstrous crabs, and beautiful birds. A day trip is possible, but definitely stay overnight, if only for the Coconut Crab walking tour
Chombe is a little bit of heaven! I don't know where to begin in my praise for the charming staff, delicious food, interesting activities (Thankyou so much J2) and idyllic setting. A really magical experience.
From what I understand, that’s not supported by current scientific evidence — African baobab trees can live for thousands of years, but reliably dated individuals are generally around 2,000–2,500 years old, not tens of thousands
There was another moment when a guide identified a fish, but it turned out the name he gave wasn’t correct — another member of our group corrected it, and later research confirmed the group member’s name was accurate

Pretty safe area..
The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect—close to all the sights, yet quiet at night
Recommended hotel, with friendly staff.
Really friendly helpful staff. Great rooms. I’d recommend.
The decoration is very exquisite, not as old as the pictures look.
This is Africa and I learned very quickly that I have to adjust my expectations to fully enjoy what this place has to offer. Everyone was trying their best to make this stay for me and my mother enjoyable

This was a totally unexpected event for everyone and Charlene ensured all guests came first over her own needs/comfort The hotel is perfect, idyllic setting, comfortable, very attentive staff and great food - things do run out, but there is lots of choice
We stayed at Bella Vista Resort Zanzibar and had a truly wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, we felt well taken care of; especially by Sharleene, the resort manager
She is an incredible person: kind, professional, and always ready to help. ❤️ Definitely talk to her about excursions, she really knows her stuff
This little haven of a hotel is in the perfect location on a small beach set in beautiful gardens. So peaceful and quiet inside and a perfect retreat to get away from the busy tourist places of Zanzibar
There are two swimming pools: a larger one, perfect for swimming, and a smaller one, ideal for relaxing and unwinding

Location not the best rough road to get there through a local village but once you arrive beautiful property great rooms it was my birthday and they had set up the room which was very much appreciated friendly staff No alchohol served on premises but you can walk outside to a local resturant if you want a drink
Nice clean pool and clean beach for morning walks. 10 minute drive to five star properties nearby if you want change of scenery(went to seacliffresort for a sundowner)
The best experience ever
I recommend if you are planning Zanzibar then please pay your visit to Royal cliff only
Everything including rooms, food, service, location, view, price is up to mark
The staff are exceptionally friendly, the pool area is relaxing, and the overall vibe is quiet and romantic — perfect for couples or anyone seeking a tranquil escape

The Villa Fleur de Lys warmly welcomed us and our 20 friends for our wedding overseas. You will be stunned the first time you crossed the door and see the great view the villa offers you
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. One of the few places that felt human. The service was so warm and friendly unlike many of the other places I've stayed in Zanzibar. So charming, peaceful and beautiful
Furthermore, Zoe, Mona and Baraka were always available to help us plan our weeding day and trip. All the staff was so kind and professionnal
They are friendly and helpful. We saw lots of culture and we had local food too. We had a personal driver who was very safe
I also had a full body massage and felt rejuvenated afterwards. I will definitely be coming back any chance I get
Surely we will get back to the villa as this is the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy a peacefull stay

Very nice place and it is very calm, the staff are so friendly, i had a tuna steak with chips , was fantastic.
Excellent hotel, the room is clean, far from civilization, and that's a plus
The staff are some of the kindest and friendliest you could meet, always ready to help with a smile. The pool offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, and there are two beautiful beaches to enjoy right at your doorstep
Could do with music around the pool and beach bar as very quiet. A bit isolated for us as we like be able to walk into town to see the local culture
Amazing views. Surrounded by beach front. Good restaurant and lovely rooms. Its a bit remote but worth the drive. Two swimming pools. Boat excursions to local island sites. Reasonable prices and nice staff.
Upside: very good value for money, great views from the pool and restaurant, the staff is very friendly and willing to help. The rooms: size, equipment and cleanliness is just ok
Wonderful beachfront stay in Pwani Michangani! We were very well taken care of by Mawa and the rest of the staff! Will return for sure!
Looks like a dream and with prices in the lover end. Hakuna matata is words people live by here and the service does aswell. Super helpful people working here, and they're willing to do anything to help you
Downside: the restaurant, which had high prices for the quality of the food, the location is far from the closest village and you need to drive there. Overall I'd say it's a good place to stay
But now we're all just hakunaing our tatas and it works just fine! Very beautiful and comfortable place to be 🧘♂️✌️
But they take their time and they everything happens in a slow tempo which we had to get used to in the beginning
