We stayed in one of the villas and honestly, it had everything. Private pool with loungers and hammocks, really good air conditioning, a kitchen with a coffee machine and free soft drinks that got restocked daily
Two showers too – one inside and one outside. The resort itself has a nice boutique, a larger main pool, and a spa that's worth visiting. They use their own cosmetics which smell amazing
We weren't really sure what they were for since the reception team handled everything via WhatsApp super quickly anyway. Not a complaint, just an observation. Overall though, this place is something special
Location - amazing (a huge white sand beach, a wonderfully curated garden); accomodation - superb (pristine clean, comfortable, spacious rooms); food - unbelievable (quality of ingredients, the way dishes are prepared and delivered, all is top); personnel - wonderful (Hamida we miss you, but also Janeth and all other waiters, Haji the driver, and every smiling people working there)
The rooftop with seating areas was our favorite spot for evening drinks. Loved the little touches like proper books in the living room and bedroom, and the mosquito net around the bed meant we slept perfectly
But honestly, the live band playing that night was so good and energetic that it totally made up for it and we had a blast anyway. If I had to mention one tiny thing, it's the butler service

Only 30 villas spread out over a large area with a stunning beach and gorgeous pool area. The staff are plentiful and attentive, all providing service with a smile
The food was exceptional and truly unforgettable. What made the experience truly outstanding was the service. The staff provided warm, attentive, and highly personalized care, making us feel special every single day
From the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The villas are breathtaking — beautifully designed, spacious, and thoughtfully detailed, blending luxury with authentic Zanzibar style
We wholeheartedly recommend Baraza Resort & Spa Zanzibar to anyone seeking a peaceful, luxurious getaway with exceptional service and truly individual attention
Yassine gets a particular mention for being the guy that goes above and beyond, and gets special requests sorted
The wine list was full of excellent south african wine and the cocktail list was eclectic and excellent. Both my wife and I had massages and also took advantage of the gym and secluded pool at the spa

The room is clean and tidy, the service is fast, the attitude is friendly, the cleaning is in place, the facilities are advanced, and the environment is beautiful
Good location, friendly staff, and decent pricing - all you could want!
In the core location of Stone City, there is a highly rated restaurant on the rooftop. It takes only five minutes to walk to the night market. The free shortbread for check-in is very fragrant and delicious
The hotel has a great location right in Stone City, and it's considered one of the cleaner and more modern hotels in the city. There's a rooftop restaurant, but it's quite expensive.
The room is clean and comfortable. I will stay here again next time I go to Stone City
Nice hotel, friendly service but breakfast left me wanting a bit. Good location in Stonetown, everything is within walking distance in my opinion. A few good restaurants and bars close by.

The breakfast was amazing with the European continental and Indian Cuisines along with great variety of locally sourced fresh fruits and juices. The hotel staff are very cooperative and friendly
The vibe, the aesthetic ambience, my most favourite rooftop view, delicious Indian food, cozy rooms, and above all, the warmth of the entire Maru Maru team make every stay truly special
They attended to all our needs at the earliest. The only problem was the lift being not operational for access to guest rooms. Otherwise the overall experience was pretty awesome!
Anand for always making me feel at home. The hospitality is exceptional and leaves you wanting to come back again and again
The rooms were spacious, equipped with good ventilation, storage and overall well maintained
beautiful venue and facilities. Staff are very polite and try their best

The whole hotel is beautiful, our room was great (and had air-conditioning), everything was clean and well maintained. Great views of Stone Town from the rooftop
our experience was 10/10, staff are so lovely and accommodating and very polite. thank you dhow palace hotel!
We went to this hotel to have coffee. We really liked the design of the hotel, lots of interesting interior items. And the coffee was great!
The room is generally good, clean, breakfast variety
Excellent location and very easy to walk to from any area of Stone Town, would recommend
Such a lovely hotel for a very affordable price. Located in the city center next to those winding shopping streets, very stylish with the vintage furniture on the inside and incredibly helpful staff!

The rooftop bar is simply stunning – not only because of the incredible views, but also thanks to some of the best cocktails and food I’ve had on the island. It’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset
I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar. The location is absolutely beautiful, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for relaxing
I’ve stayed here more than once, and I will definitely come back again, because this is exactly where I find peace and a true feeling of home
The biggest impression is left by the hotel owner – incredibly attentive, making you feel like a truly special and very welcome guest
A wonderful and cozy place right on Kendwa Beach. The hotel is small, which makes the whole experience very personal and unique
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, which made the experience even more enjoyable

The room is very comfortable and spacious, with a choice between air conditioning or a ceiling fan. There's also a gym overlooking the pool, and a games area (pool, foosball, etc. ) – everything you need to relax
Uroa is truly a pleasant area for disconnecting, and the Sunny Palm is fantastic, offering both the villa's private pool and the communal infinity pool with breathtaking sea views
I travelled to Zanzibar with my parents and we had an extremely comfortable stay at Sunny Palms - the suites are VERY spacious and well equipped. The staff is warm and helpful and the food is absolutely amazing
The staff were always friendly and helpful. During power outages, the generators were always quickly brought in to provide backup. The location is ideal for a quiet, romantic getaway, with shops nearby
We loved having a 3 bedroom suite with a living area and private baths for all. So nice to be all together yet in our own space, The food was good and the service was too! Unfortunately the property isn't licensed
Beautiful hotel in a calm village of Uroa. We enjoyed our 8 days stay with long walks on the beach, lovely pool and delicious food at the restaurant. The rooms are clean and the facility is well kept

Me, my husband and some friends has just come home after a wonderful stay at Zanzibar queen hotel. For my husband and me it was the second time and I have to say we really love it
What a lovely relaxed and peaceful hotel. The rooms are large, clean and cool and the pools are a great size, lots of sun-beds and beautiful setting
The accommodations are comfortable and impeccably maintained, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The staff are consistently warm, professional, and attentive, making every guest feel welcome
A great boutique hotel, African-style rooms, excellent cuisine, very polite staff, sometimes Swahili evenings, live music, fantastic massages, yoga lessons, possibility to purchase attractions available on the island, I wholeheartedly recommend it
The spa is located in a beautiful spot, and the massage was very good. The highlight was our New Year’s party with a live band followed by a DJ playing. They truly care about their guests
I really liked it at Canary the staff was so kind and respectful ,the cleanliness was top notch keep it up guys .
This hotel is very nice if you think about the price to quality ratio. The hotel is clean and has a nice restaurant inside that serves many dishes. There was music during the day and the cleaning service did a good job
Checking was abit of hassel , no rooms avaliable instead i was given temporary room for the first night until next day waiting for check out guest! after 11hr flight meet with dissappointments
The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us
The staff were excellent, and the location was superb. However, the room service was poor. The breakfast was disappointing, with limited options.
Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him

What makes Breezes so special for us is the amazing staff who are soattentive to all your needs and they all help make your stay even more enjoyable - special mention goes to Dora and Mtwana
We arrived at Breezes beach club and Spa as a party if 6, immediately we were welcomed with cooling face towels by the staff after the drive from the airport
The dining area had been revamped since our last visit in 2023 and the wide choice of food was still excellent. We particularly enjoyed having the special breakfast at the beachside
We are hoping to be back next year and we cannot wait. Many thanks to everyone at Breezes once again for a fantastic stay
Very nice Location in a Great Area. Exzellent v service and very Good service from breakfast to Dinner. After ohne week of Safari the ideal Place for a few days to relaxed.
First view of reception area is very relaxing and looking further through you can see a wonderful pool area and further from there is the view of the ocean, it was such a beautiful view and we knew instantly that this hotel was going to be a dream destination, the location is stunning and the whole hotel set up is absolutely spot on

He gave us lots of tips for Stone Town and also of a cultural nature. The breakfast is great, the selection at the buffet is local and international, as is the dinner
Everything was great except I did not receive the food and beverage credit that was promised with my ******* reservation.
The bed was perfect and our room had a nice view of the pool and ocean. The staff, Rabia, Yunus, and Yussuf Big to name only a few were great. A perfect place to stay for 4 days before our safari.
Great Stay
Wonderful hotel on the beach in Stone Town. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Nice views and pool.
The room was beautiful and very clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was wonderful. And a great location for walking around Stone Town which was very safe. In all an excellent stay.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, particularly the receptionist who helped us with booking our transfer to the airport at the end of our stay

I think that the hotel can do better buy giving written offers for the spa to the groups. I really wanted to do it but there were no prices and I didn't feel like haggling for an experience that is supposed to relax me
However, the entertainment was unique and african and it's worth the shot. At the entrance of the hotel there is a tour agency representative. We will definitely use them next time. The prices were quite reasonable
Every evening we had some form of entertainment. Apparently all the other hotels in the area have the same entertainment. Now, the music was a bit too loud for my taste and was clashing with the dinner experience
In one of the evenings the electricity was cutting off - the restaurant had us placed on the artificial beach, with live music, eating under the stars
The internet was with a truly good signal everywhere on the property so technically you can watch the sea from the wood cabin and surf the internet
What I really loved during our stay was - we had our own hot water heater and we did have hot water whenever we want

Had an amazing stay at Nest Style Resort. Truly one for the books! 🌴🙌🏽
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming at all times
Beautiful resort, a piece of paradise❤️ thank you for making our holiday so memorable. Had the best time with our kids, Fun in the sun, swimming all day long in the pool and beach…. Endless cocktails and delicious food
Thank you to every employee who was always kind and helpful, a few names who we can still remember… Ramadan, Clara Marie, Sally, Vuyami, Fabiola the awesome bartenders, chefs etc
Thank you thank you thank you
And great dinners and lovely coffee in the morning🙂 The hotel staff is supportive and helpful. Ocean is beautiful in every time of the day. I spent lovely 10 days there and would definitely go back

The rooms were lovely, the place is surrounded in beautiful trees and plants, you walk from your rooms to the pool/dining area which is located on the beach. The staff were simply the best, so friendly and polite
Pizzas were amazing, pool was tricky, I almost drawn, yet saved and enjoyed alot. Very nice and thoughful, purely the touch of zanzibar.
Zoi Hotel is truly a special place. The hotel is beautiful, clean, has 2 beautiful pools, and is beachfront. But what makes Zoi such a wonderful place are the wonderful people who work there
The play area is well-maintained and kid-friendly, and overall cleanliness throughout the resort is impressive. The service stands out—staff are warm, helpful, and always attentive. A truly wonderful place to stay
Kena beach hotel is excellent, The staff is very friendly and professional The rooms are very clean I also enjoyed the faod and their fresh fruits I can’t forget that they surprised me with a birthday cake on my birthday I will definitely go back The seven days I stayed there were awesome

it was a nice place especially the bar and restaurants where we had fun and met new local friends. Big screen for football games darts and pool table kept connecting us and making new memories
A wonderful place, very cozy and in a great location. A fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful team who made my stay unforgettable
Beautiful property. People who works there just simply the best. Big, clean, modern room which smells amazing, with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was top! Pool and cocktails are perfect.
Pros:
- bar and restaurant is really good, the prices are fair and the stuff friendly,
- pool and surroundings - this is a very lovely place, well-kept
- food - breakfasts are okay, fresh fruits and juice available
- approx
A special plus goes to the resident cats who made our evenings on the terrace even more enjoyable
It is extremely inconvenient because it wakes you up in the morning and then you can’t peacefully spend your time by the pool when the sun is too strong to be on the beach
The rooms are spacious and kept very clean, and the bathroom is modern. Everything was cleaned thoroughly every day, and fresh towels were provided upon request. The air conditioning works perfectly and is very quiet
The beds were prepared for the night. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. They prepared local dishes for us on request, and once we were even allowed to watch the chef and were introduced to the local cuisine
The entire staff was very attentive and friendly; every wish was fulfilled whenever possible. The grounds are guarded by Maasai, who provide a sense of security day and night
My friend and I stayed at Kivuli for 10 days during the holidays and we absolutely loved our stay. The place is brand new, in a quiet location compared to the rest of Paje, and the staff is very helpful and nice
I spent the last two weeks at the Kivuli Beach Resort and I already miss the incredibly beautiful time I had there. I was welcomed like a friend and felt very much at home
We stayed in the 2 bedroom family villa. Such a comfortable and private stay. Our private butler (Kayphas) was always available to supported our every request with precision

If you want to stay in and hang out by the pool and beach, that's great too. We'll definitely be going back to Michamvi
Sunsets, pole pole, perfect beach, chill vibes, fresh food from the trees and the sea. Everything you need or want to be happy is right in front of you here. Grab a kayak and spend the day in the mangroves
Very easy to relax and unwind here. Minimal hassle on a quiet, beautiful beach. All the facilities were impeccable. Pool is very clean and a great swimming option when it’s low tide
Explore the village, people here are friendly and chill. Low tide? Go on a walk or swim in the pool. Happy hour for sunset and drinks. Come here and you will be happy
Half board is good value with several nearby restaurants for variety of lunch options, including The Rock (10 minute drive) for a splurge. Kayaking out to the mangroves is a must (and it’s free)
Huge shoutout to Shirley and the team for the impeccable rooms, service, food, everything… and most of all making us feel like family

The room is very big and the electrical appliances are Chinese brands! The beach is right at the door, so it's convenient to go out to the sea. The hotel has three swimming pools and the children had a lot of fun
The overall feeling is good, but the network is not good and it is a bit far from the swimming pool.
If you like the local style, this hotel is the best among the hotels and is highly recommended. Because it is right by the sea, there will be crows as your companions during the open breakfast
The price/performance ratio is good for an all-inclusive hotel in Zanzibar. The beach outside the hotel is very beautiful. The sunset is super beautiful. I spent three nights happily.
It's very convenient to go to Stone Town, just a few steps away
Very ok, I will carry your luggage for you throughout the trip

The hotel is located almost 12 mins from the beach by walking,it has a nice pool surronded by garden. The room is spacious but lacks basic amenities like shower gel or shampoo
Great for the price, only stayed for 1 night so didn’t get to use the pool but the room and breakfast were great. Although the ‘Sea view’ room only saw a sliver of the water over the trees
Showers didn’t get hot, poor flow, and shower head was broken so the water went everywhere. There was hair everywhere in the toilet and the ‘cleaned’ towels had dirty sticky tap over them
A good place to stay with friends and family. Spacious rooms and delicious food. Just a walk away from the thrilling Zanzibar activities, meaning you save on transport costs. Well done, good hospitality, top notch
The food is very tasty, the breakfast is almost always the same, there's not much choice, but everything is nicely prepared! The dinner is excellent, everyone is very kind! The room is cleaned every day
I ENJOYED MY STAY HERE AND I WILL BE BACK SOON, THANKS TO ZULFA AND ROSE FOR THEIR SERVICE TOO AND MR MUHAMMED TOO THANK YOU, SEE YOU GUYS SOON.
The reception team was magnificent, ALWAYS smiling and genuinely caring. Whether at the restaurant with Martha (best!) or by the pool, the atmosphere was incredibly calm, and the staff were simply perfect
The housekeeping service was impeccable—the room was spotless every single day. They were incredibly discreet, yet always ensured everything was fresh. What truly stands out, however, is the staff
They seemed genuinely happy to see me and were always eager to ensure I had the best possible stay. I've the chance to meet the manager, she was so kind and such a beautiful person!! Everything was absolutely perfect
The facilities were perfect, and I particularly appreciated there's no television in the room! It made the stay so much more peaceful and allowed for a true disconnection
We absolutely loved our stay at Aluna Paje! The whole team is incredibly kind, helpful, and flexible – you can really feel how much love and care goes into this place
This is Maria, from Spain! I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an absolutely flawless experience from start to finish
