The range of activities available at the resort include kayaking, paddle boarding, table tennis, pool… even daily beach volleyball games with fellow guests and hotel staff! The food at the hotel deserves a special mention

It perfectly sits on the kiwengwa beach there is nothing better than that. The food the service the peaceful vibe of the whole resort is just addictive. I honestly didn’t felt like going back on my last day.

We loved absolutely everything about this resort. It was nice and quiet, there wasn’t many people, which was good because there was always free seats at the beach, and near the pool. The employees are extremely friendly

It was a great hotel. It was within a 10 minute walk from the airport. The staff were all friendly and the amenities were plentiful. The breakfast buffet was also great.

The only downside is that it's quite far from Stone Town, about a 20-minute drive

- noise from street air conditioners is heard at night, you can’t sleep with the window open; - very slippery tiles in the toilet and shower, be careful; - poor ventilation in the rooms, a musty smell quickly appears in the room, you need to air it often, risking letting in mosquitoes

Congratulations! The bungalows are comfortable and spacious with huge double beds and a/c. Definitely a place to go back! Thank you for making a memorable holidays

The value of our stay was worth every cent! The resort is calm during the day and they offer entertainment certain evenings to keep you busy which we thought is really creative! There is a pool with a lot of tanning beds and the resort provides you with a fresh towel every day

The swimming pool is lovely, and the staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and caring throughout the stay. The hotel is located just a little outside the city center, but honestly, that’s what makes it perfect

There was some water missing in the room, but it was quickly resolved. Toilet paper and other amenities were missing, but we were told about it. People aren't particularly enthusiastic, but everyone is friendly and calm

The document said $8, but it looks like it was for two people. Since I moved to Stone Town later, the documents said $4, but I only paid $2 because I was alone. I didn't know and didn't ask about this at reception

Unfortunately, late check-in and check-out are common on the island. There is no designated place to change and go for a swim in the sea while waiting for your room. There is also no shower after swimming

You can't lie down quietly, sunbathe on the sand, or swim (get away from the pushy people and salespeople). There are sun loungers on the hotel grounds, but they are usually booked for the entire day

I guess that's just how island life is. If you're expecting something wow-worthy based on the photos, don't expect it—be prepared for anything. 😁 Another thing that confused me was the tax payment

The location is nice, and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, but the crowded courtyard on the beach and the constant questions of "Where are you from? Where are you going?" are downright annoying

Great place right next to the ocean. Lots of green if you enjoy nature. The swimming pool just below the main dining area adds to the great scenery. There's a variety for breakfast

The resort is as per advertised on the photos. The sea grass is cleared everyday from the beach. The personal is friendly and so helpful Was a good resort for families with kids. Would have liked coffee in the rooms

We went on a safari in Tanzania, saw turtles and monkeys, took all the boat trips to disappearing islands, the island of giant tortoises, went diving, and swam with dolphins – it's simply magnificent

Sultan Sands is a wonderfull resort, located on de beach. The resort is well maintained, luxurious and beautifully set up

Mocco beach villa is about 1hr30 from the airport and cost apx50$ or if you booked from booking. The places is amazing with wonderful view and clear water for swimming

It gets to the stage you’re too embarrassed to ask for such a little amount. The last time I left without asking. It puts you off and I started to leave there to order food and drinks in a place down the road

The drink and meal prices are higher than most places nearby, but the ambiance and service are worth it. We also enjoyed the pool area on the days that were sunny

I came with friends to see the sea. It is in the center of Stone Town and has a good location. Overall it is good and I will choose it again if I have the chance.

The Madinat Al Bahr hotel is conveniently located at a beach near the airport (3km, 6-10min drive) and also not far from Zanzibar City (7km, around 10-15min drive) with its famous stone town and ferry terminal to Dar Es Salaam etc

The beginning was a little bumpy yet after I addressed my concerns, the management in all departments including frontdesk and F&B went out of there way to make this visit for my mother and me even more memorable than expected

The hotel's architecture is impressive. The breakfast buffet is nice, but lunch an dinner buffet happens only on weekends. The restaurant kitchen is strong on local Swaheli food, fresh produce and Indian dishes

Next to a dinner invitation we were honored with a massive room upgrade with no questions asked. The staff was always extremely friendly and forcoming. I can definitely recommend this magnificent looking Hotel

But don't order the T-Bone steak. I asked for medium rare but got a hard boiled (!) though correct piece of meat but too tough to either cut or chew. The rooms are big and clean with nice ocean views

The landscaping is top notch and the beach view is absolutely stunning. The pool is gorgeous with a beach view and the drinks at the poolside bar were great

Large rooms with nice showers and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Security around the property made me feel safe. Beach is nice when the tide is out. Lots of lounge chairs available

The beach and pool was very nice. Food was hit and miss as certain items were repeated. Our Butler Ramson was provided with our Jungle Villa was excellent and his service was impeccable

The day we checked out we were told that we would have to pay for any food and drink consumed after the 11:00 check-out time! We raised the fact that we had not been able to have anything in the first day as we were delayed to which they agreed we could have lunch but no drinks, despite the fact that in theory we could have drink as much as we wanted while we were there

Staff were really helpful especially the receptionists. The food was really good and had a wide range of variety. The bars are nice especially jetti bar by the Ocean. Room was good except for the foul smell of humidity

We visited Namaste Restaurant as a family and Denis took care of us. He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout our visit. He made sure everything was perfect and checked in on us regularly

When I was making my research about hotels in the island, Paradise Beach Resort definitely called my attention for all its offered benefits and facilities such as the All Inclusive package, daily entertainment shows, different bars and pools to enjoy

This is supposed to be a 4 star Resort. Our room towels were changed on day6. The coffee station was only filled on day 2 and day 6

The food at Namaste was very tasty and the spices were very mild. Dennis' was serving us always wearing an engageous smile and always helpful. Dennis has been professional everyday.
