Only 6 rooms in 2 separate houses in this unique resort so book early!Gorgeous room with huge bathroom including freestanding soaking tub, with a menu of bath salts to select. Beautiful ocean views and large pool
This hotel is about a 90 minute drive from the airport. I couldn’t find much feedback on it in my research but decided to take a chance on it anyway. The setup is more of a bed and breakfast type accommodation
They have the cutest little turtle farm that made my animal loving heart happy. They accommodated my dairy allergy very well! The food has been the best we’ve had in Africa. We never ordered anything we didn’t like
We loved him! This accommodation also has activities included like an open air cinema, foosball, volleyball, kayaking, snorkeling, darts, outdoor gym and spa services (which are extra)
Tried authentic Vietnamese food and loved it so much I got something every night. The only “negatives” for us was there’s very little shade by the pool chairs and the shower is a rain head only
The property is a lot bigger than I anticipated and it’s very quiet. Very few people walking the beach/sellers bothering you. There are 2 buildings to choose from

Our villa (Kusum) was beautifully furnished, with an excellent rooftop pool to ourselves and wide open sand leading us from our doorstep to the pristine ocean
We throughly enjoyed staying at Upendo. It is cozy with suites as well as multi-bedroom house, right in front of the beach and the famous "The Rock" restaurant
We did the full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious and with so many options you didn't have to double up. But we did - because some of us just loved the banana pancakes, others the Benedict
It has privacy, coziness, good and attentive service by staffs, as well as good restaurant, cafe and bar. Needless to say, it enjoyed beautiful view of Indian Ocean right in front
We had a spectacular family dinner with live music on Christmas Eve at the restaurant which was a few paces from our villa. We had the option to eat in our villa or at the restaurant - both were perfect
Geoffrey, Teo and Cladia (I'm certain I've misspelled names here) were constantly available to us and brought us whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted

Really amazing hotel, it feels very luxurious but beautifully blended with nature. The fact that the hotel has 4 different pools is also great for cooling off after using the Jungle gym
Your skin will feel completely renewed after the series of scrubs and the bath. The massage after was perfectly relaxing. Then they follow with a deep cleansing facial leaving your skin dewy and fresh
This was an absolutely beautiful location to relax after our extended safari. The staff are attentive and facilities lovely, but the absolute highlight was the Hammam luxury package at Pure Spa
the place itself is very nice and despite it is not easy to swim (because of the tides), there are many activities either on the beach or nearby which can be organized by the reception
nice and clean room, kind and professional staff, great food and drinks and - on top of all these - an incerdible spa run by two brothers who love their job
Excellent friendly staff and very good food. We would certainly go again either as a couple or with family. Sharazad ticks all the right boxes for us

If you are prepared to just go relax on the beach or by the pool, it's a beautiful setting, but be warned the tide goes in and out nearly 3 times per day, so swimming in the ocean when the tide is out really isn't an option
Me and my husband stayed here from the 16th to the 22nd of March after safari in Tanzania. The staff is so kind and helpful and they make great food. We are really gonna miss the fresh fruit for breakfast
Great place, location, accommodation and food. Superb beach with amazing white sand. Variation of blue of the Ocean are impossible to describe. Fewer hotel/resorts than other places in Zanzibar, so less tourists
We went on a tour to a spice farm and Stone Town on the 19th of March. We learned a lot about Zanzibar. And the guides both at the spice farm and Stone Town were great. Sharing all kinds of information
Location and general areas are very attractive. Staff is very kind and helpful. Kitchen and rooms are on the basic side.
An amazing evening of August at the Magic Boutique Hotel, by the joyful sounds of a local band and the poetic moon mirroring in the sea, is exactly what anyone could desire
We appreciated the small touches, like pool bags in the room, availability of yoga mats for the beach and our gifts on leaving - thank you
My friend and I went for a girls trip to Zanzibar and we stayed at Amani for a few nights. The hotel itself was beautiful, serene and directly on the Paje beachfront. The sunrises were absolutely stunning
We stayed in Amani for one week and really loved the hotel. If you are looking for entertainment or nightlife Amani is not the place to stay, but if you look for a place to relax and disconnect, this is the right place
The highlight of our stay here was the staff - they were so friendly and had an eye for detail. They knew us by name and made us feel very comfortable (being 2 females traveling alone)
We had a problem with our aircon in the middle of the night and they went out of their way to assist us with it and even gave us an alternative room for the duration of our stay
It is very good food, with lots of options to choose from. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options, including an egg station. The dinner is a 4 course meal with a starter, a soup, main dish and dessert
A very spacious, clean, and comfortable room right by the pool. The staff is very cheerful, friendly, and accommodating. Everything is freshly prepared for breakfast. Excellent!
I have been happy with this place. It has a nice pool, rooms are clean and AC is working. The only minus is the breakfast that is a bit dull and simple, you basically have to eat eggs or fruit. Everything else was good.
What a fantastic spot in Paje, Zanzibar! The food at the Ocean Restaurant is top-notch, and the DJ night was just awesome. Big thanks to RRV Expedition for taking care of all the arrangements
The staff here are simply amazing, especially Martha. She went above and beyond to look after all our requests, and even surprised my wife with a birthday cake at the Rock Restaurant
Had a lovely stay here, staff are super friendly and can’t do enough for you, accommodation is excellent and very clean and you are right on the beach
Ocean restaurant is attached to the hotel and does a nice breakfast for residents and is then open for lunch and dinner (very reasonably priced)

Friendly hotel, right on the beach ( perfect to explore the local life), serene atmosphere and very nice restaurant and bar. Rooms are comfy and traditional. Very nice pool area! Massages are recommended.
Excellent location, good price, good restaurant, the nicest staff! Very accommodating. About a mile south of Scubafish if you’re into diving. Booked this last minute and very glad I did
Easy to get transport back to airport. They even sent me on my way with a chicken sandwich!
There is a restaurant and swimming pool (infinity pool). Plenty of places to relax and enjoy Zanzibar
Large walk-in shower with good water pressure and hot water. Double washbasin next to each other. Fine large thick towels, delicious shower gel. A large bed with a fine mosquito net
You have your room or a nice large balcony or a terrace in front of your door. Room 2 even has its own plunge pool and private garden

The best relaxing resort ever. the food by chef Peter and his team is delicious with wide variety. the resort and the pools are clean. I can't thank enough Mrs evana the management with her team
Beautiful resort, quiet and tranquil. All staff were so friendly and helpful any time of day! The apartments were so clean with added extras like soaps, shampoos, clean towels every day
The small pool is perfect as well for a light dip in the heat
It is well run, the staff are all happy and delivering a great service, the managers are here everyday to make sure things run smoothly and the two restaurants of the hotel had more than enough choices of delicious food for you to just stay within the beautiful premises of the resort
The fact that they had their own secure beach entry without being directly on the beach front. the beach bar/restaurant was well stocked with good food and drinks. The Resort restaurant was really good as well
Kiwengwa bungalows is a superb, homely, clean resort on an absolute stunning beach. The staff are phenomenal and cannot help you enough. They are really attentive and they do it with the biggest smiles on their faces

You cannot really swim in the sea but honestly the pool is incredible. The nature around the hotel is whaou!!! Also there are friendly animals inside the property
Came to Zanzibar with friends and picked this hotel. The ambiance is fantastic, there's a faint floral scent when you enter, and the breakfast is delicious. It's really nice, definitely a resort-level hotel.
The accommodation was really relaxing specially the the view from the pool & the breakfast is really good, the stuff is really friendly specially ( John)
Very good, all rooms have private pools and sea views. The rooms are large, the hotel has various vehicles, there are motorboats one kilometer away, and it takes 20 minutes to see dolphins.
My husband and I just returned from an 8 night vacation at Kasha and had a wonderful time celebrating our first anniversary! The sea view bungalow was perfect for the week- sizable, private and nice decor touches
We enjoyed the spacious room with the nice patio / terrace and plunge pool outside our room. Also the nice pool down at the ocean bar was wonderful

Perhaps we weren't clear that we wanted to swim with dolphins versus seeing them. A speedboat is really necessary for that. All in all we had a lovely stay and highly recommend the hotel
Amazing stay, had a great welcoming where the manager showed us all the facilities, that were very clean. Breakfast was served on the porch with the staff being highly tentative
No loud music, just calm atmosphere, birds, and the sound of the ocean. A perfect place to relax and enjoy Zanzibar
We had an outstanding stay at this hotel! The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our visit

I had the best coconut curry dinner I’ve ever had at the Golden Palm Hotel with Freddy and the rest of the Golden Palm crew. The staff are amazing and the food was SO good! The sunset views are out of this world
If you need a nice hotel 5 min from the airport, right on the beach, choose this one. Nicely designed rooms w/A/C, very accommodating staff, good food, no complaints!
We had a brief stay for one night, before leaving Zanzibar. Great service from the team. Delicious food. Awesome rooms... Thank you so much.
The location may not be in the center of town, not would you be able to swim in the sea. But the hotel and the staff are fabulous. The manager takes personal care of the guests.
A nice and quiet hotel. Very nice and polite staff. Little bit far from the city but no problem
to find transportation.
Access is through the natural mangrove bushes on the sides of the part earth road. There is a family room (there could be more). Extremely friendly staff on the accomodation side and the restaurant

There is barely any pool at the property. Slightly bigger pool at the neighboring hotel. Food is really overpriced
You cannot have more than this. Excellent position, quiet, large rooms well equipped, with lovely forniture, rooms are resetted twice a day. Cuisine is fantastic, menu change everyday with International and local dishes
It is a wonderful place where staying in Zanzibar
The employees were extremely friendly and helpful everyday. The food was quite good at both resorts. The intimacy of this resort was great. Beach has some of the finest, softest white sand we've ever walked on
The location and the beach is stunning, the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, the restaurant has an excellent menu. I highly recommend! And I also loved the spa!
Wonderful Boutique Hotel with a nearby 'sister' hotel. We took the half board plan (breakfast and dinner) and at lunch dined at some of the other near by resorts
The staff were all super friendly and the management very accommodating to our every need and request
Very quite, friendly staffs and good location for peace of mind.
A lot of pluses and one huge minus. First of all, the beach is divine - clean, very vast at low tide, practically empty. I stayed in a bungalow on the beach and I just loved waking up to the view
When that finally ended about 6pm, the music at the pool bar started, with bass so loud, that the floor of the bungalow was vibrating. The staff was totally unbothered when asked to turn the music down
A big group of tourists was occupying the restaurant and nearby area all day, playing loud music. When asked to turn it down, they did for 5 minutes, and then it was going on again
I would be more understanding if it was Ibiza, but for a village that advertises itself as a quiet fisherman village - for me it was the main reason I chose it - it’s unacceptable

This place truly feels like peace on earth – the perfect spot to relax, disconnect from everyday life and fully enjoy a carefree holiday. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility, comfort and indulgence
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a cold coconut, which was very refreshing after the long journey to our vacation. The rooms were spacious; I was especially impressed by the clean, large, and modern bathroom
Excellent food, where quality and attention to detail can be felt in every bite. The surroundings are beautifully maintained, clean and aesthetic, while also offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere
We had a wonderful stay at Next Paradise Resort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with the ocean breeze and sound of the waves making it feel truly special
All the beds were equipped with mosquito nets. The cuisine is mainly seafood – I recommend trusting their selection, as you will experience authentic African culinary flavors
The hotel is located directly on the beach. The interior of the resort is very well maintained – every morning they sweep and tidy the paths and the surroundings
A fantastic team, always smiling, genuinely kind, and incredibly professional. Their warmth and cheerfulness are contagious: they make you feel not like a guest, but like part of a big family
Beware that some small houses near the swimming pool seem to be a bit too close to one another, but larger house is much more comfortable and have the attic on the second floor, lovely!
The breakfast can be ordered from the menu
From the very first moment, you can feel you’ve arrived somewhere truly special: a wonderful property, beautifully maintained down to the smallest detail, surrounded by breathtaking nature
The overall attitude felt unprofessional and unwelcoming, especially in the pool area
The resort is a little corner of paradise, where lush greenery meets the deep blue of the ocean and every view looks like it belongs on a postcard. What truly makes the experience unique, however, is the staff
A lovely tranquil place, with authentic Tanzanian design bungalows. We stayed at a great bungalow with view on the pool ( which was super by the way- slightly salt water:-)

Meals are ordered à la carte, which gives a real sense of freshness and quality rather than typical buffet food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, great service and a warm atmosphere
As a lovely surprise at the end of our stay, we were treated to a special lunch and dinner prepared outside the regular menu. The rooms are clean, well-maintained and air-conditioned
My second time here and this time with an ocean view room. The place has a great vibe and is by the beach. Nice secluded pool. Very quiet at night. Large rooms with all facilities. Great food. Absolutely love it.
B4 Hotel is a wonderful, quiet and intimate place, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The staff is extremely kind, friendly and always helpful
I have had a really lovely holiday here at B4. Nice and sweet staff, fantastic massage really worth the money, they are helpful with booking trips and generally making the stay here extra comfortable thank you
All inclusive was good, you could choose 2 dishes from the menu, so it was enough and the food was delicious. All inclusive also applied to their beach club hotel, where was different menu

Super cute hotel near the beach, super clean, good food, nice people, nice pool, Netflix, AC, super good wifi, everything you need you will find !
Arya is a cute smallish resort in Kiwenga, in a part that seems to be dominated by Italian investors. Rooms are cosy, beautiful, clean. Staff is very friendly and honest
Owner Laura was fantastic in welcoming us and arranged a wonderful surprise for us. The pool was warm and inviting. Breakfast is not on par with European (italian) breakfasts, however better than most others in Tanzania
We have stayed here for 4 nights in February 2023 (Suite with a pool terrace). The room was nice and clean, the terrace in front of the pool was absolutely amazing
We had the pool practically for ourselves and it was a heaven for my 7 years old daughter. The staff is super nice, helpful and full of warmth
very nice pool and friendly staff! We booked directly woth the ewnker trough whatsapp and she gave us the best price with a discount ++++++++
It is a beautiful place in paradise where you find peace, if you are looking for it. The 6 rooms make it very familiary. The rooms are like on the picture. My room with ocean view and hammock was fantastic
Such a lovely hotel to stay at away from the busy Paje area. Super relaxing and comfortable stay, right in front of the beach. Josephine, Bona, and the all the staff were extremely helpful and super kind
That’s what made it special ❤️ also gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants in the area. Thank you, we hope to be back soon! Highly recommend this place
There are great local restaurants nearby, and it’s only a short distance from Paje if you’re looking for more activity and a livelier vibe

Central location with plenty of attractions close by. Welcoming, friendly staff who were very helpful. Breakfast (and other meals) good and coffee great
Would recommend the date cake with caramel sauce (maybe not for breakfast!)
Large (sleeping, hall and bathroom), quite and comfortabel
Welcoming staff despite the very late check-in (Judi and her family are so kind and full of good advices) , rooms are super clean, the b&b is in a strategic position in the city, the cafe and the restaurant (archipelago) have excellent fish dishes
I had the prawn and fish indian curry with rice and a virgin mojito while my colleagues had the chicken pizza and the fish & chips all of which receive five stars

It's a very nice place. Beautiful rooms and delicious food. The staff very polite.

Nice location, but if you're not a resident you're not welcome. You asked very roughly to leave the place.....
