Located in a quiet area with a nice beach close by and many cafes and shops around makes this hotel quite adequate for a relaxing beach holiday. The hotel itself is simple and modest, unassuming tourists.

Located: 47 km from the airport, Phuket is 10 km from Patong beach on the West coast of Phuket, in the Bay of Kata.
Consists of two 3-storey buildings.
Total area: 73 m2 600.
The hotel has 72 rooms.
Beach: public sandy beach in 200 m from the hotel (2 coastline). Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee, towels – free of charge. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade.

I had an amazing stay at Kata Poolside Resort! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Kata Beach, shops, and restaurants, yet still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The pool is a highlight: clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by plenty of loungers, making it the perfect spot to unwind.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept spotless throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the balcony and the overall cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome.
The on-site restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and it was so convenient to have the option of dining right at the resort. Between the great service, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable location, Kata Poolside Resort exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Kata Beach—you won’t be disappointed!

The location is awesome. 2minutes walk from the beach. However the breakfast can be improved. Also it will be a nice gesture to the boarders to allow them to pack breakfast from the breakfast buffet when they are leaving/checking out to catch a flight.

My ONLY complaint about this place is they still use keys for the room. The tag attached to it is for the A/C so there is zero way to keep your A/C while not in the room

Be aware! They have the good old power system where you have to insert a magnetic block and physical key for the power and ac to be on (Did not mention this when I checked in and or not in any of their policy books). On top of that they required that you give them your room key when you go out (so that they make sure you don’t have power in your room). When I ask the manager why is this the rule, she stated that “all over Thailand ac can’t run day and night or else it will blow up”. I guess malls and shopping centers ac units will blow up eventually. For me as a on the road work/traveler, it crucial that I have power when I’m not in my room so my electric devices can charge when I’m not using them. Secondly, I just want a nice cool room when I come from humid and hot city of Phuket.
On the side note: staff and workers are super chill.

Such a old dirty hotel charging high prices with the absense of the very basic amenities.
Sadly we booked from a long time and paid advance. Horrible experience !!!

Highly recommend this hotel. The room is perfect! Our was facing the pool so excellent!

Breakfast could be better. I was expecting More fresh Thai food.

Loved this place. The style and a very welcoming team. We had the poolside deluxe room. Was perfect, large, lovely and quiet. We were in the second block after the pool. Easy walk to the beach.

Loved our 2 week stay in June 2023. Location is great with beach only a 5 minute walk and many restaurants even closer.Rooms were large. Yes they are older and a little worn however very clean and tidy. For the money it is great value. Pool is large and clean. Staff were attentive, friendly and made our stay wonderful.
