Cozy hotel with a convenient location in the popular Patong area. Recommend for young people and couples without children.

Built: 2009

Location: on the coast of Patong beach, 500 metres from the beach, 42 km from the airport of Phuket, 15 km from the city centre.

Consists of one six-story building.

The hotel has 72 rooms.

Beach: public sandy beach of Patong, 500 m from the hotel (across the street) from the hotel (2 coastline). On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free.

The worst hotel anyone could live in. The staff was so bad, the beds were hard, the bathroom had black molds in it and the pictures are not even close to what the hotel actually looked like. They requested for a room deposit in the form of a passport or money that is more expensive than the room. They didn't have a safety deposit box in the room, its located at the front desk and its not safe. They charge for everything. Be careful with what you use in the room. There was a power outage when I stayed there, they didn't inform me that they were transporting people to another worse 2 star hotel. I had to ask myself and most if the staff didn't know what was going on. I couldn't get a refund for the power outage night. The hotel is just terrible. Please don't stay here. Its not worth any money. Kokotel was so much better.

They have a great new remodeled pool and pool bar. It was a fun place to stay. I really enjoyed the staff. They had rasberry wasabi gelato which was great. The staff and manager were very friendly. I will definitely return

We stayed for one week at the hotel during August 2013. For the price you pay everything was very good including the breakfast . The staff were all very helpful and friendly and will definitely go back next year.

The hotel has a scam when you are checking out. They check your room & will tell you the bath is damaged. They then demand you pay 12000.00Baht $250.00+ for a new bath. There is no time for you to prove your innocence & you have to pay or police will be called. Also if you break a salt shaker that will cost 100Baht $3.+
They advertise an American breakfast & do not provide bacon. On our last morning we packed our luggage & went for breakfast. We returned to find the room being cleaned early. A couple of hrs later I discovered my jewellery had been stolen, it was out of sight, packaged & packed in a bag. The Hotel did not offer any assistance we called the police. The hotel employs illegal workers. The police got 1, 3 others left. We saw the security cameras where more than 1 cleaner was in our room & it took more than 30 minutes to make a bed & wipe over our bathroom. We were only in that room for 1 night. They have many safes at the reception but they are not as secure as you think. You should also have a small padlock of your own on the box for added security. The nicest thing about the hotel was the Thai restaurant staff who we will miss.

Top floor (most expensive) room had a constant drone from water tanks on roof, staff didn't not understand enough English to help us. We walked out of lift in the morning and there was drilling only a meter or so from our feet. They were drilling tiles up from floor. This was heard clearly from hotel room. We wanted to relax by the pool since arriving late and poor nights sleep from the noise but the deafening drilling was right next to the pool so we couldn't hear eachother to talk or relax. The facilities of relaxing and swimming were not available to us. Upon complaint to reception they told us it would continue for "only" two days. We had paid money to relax on holiday and weren't satisfied. We asked for our money back but they refused. We had to move to another hotel and pay out again. Despite emailing MD, they still will not refund us. Terrible!

I stayed at this hotel with my family for 2 weeks and it was very unsatisfactory as we have been to Thailand 9 times and never come across such rudeness. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel very unwelcome. The rooms were not cleaned every day and had no safe in the room. When checking out we were charged for things we didn't touch and blamed for dirtying the sheets that weren't even washed. Be very careful if staying here, very dodgy and the lift didn't even work properly.

This place is garbage. I don’t recommend to anyone. Reception staff were very rude upon arrival and throughout our stay. The rooms were NOT cleaned daily despite what they tell you. Upon check out they tried to charge us for a sheet that we supposedly “dirtied” even though it had not been washed yet which was 2 weeks later! Breakfast was nothing special and the lift could barely carry 3 people despite its safety rating of “8 people or 550kg”. The restaurant staff were great and very accommodating and a good location but that is it.

The Patong Pearl Hotel not (Resortel) is situated opposite Patong Municipality school. The location is excellent and many restaurants, convenience stores, bars massage shops etc are just a walk away. The reception is off putting and far away from what you'd call welcoming. Checkin took almost 30 mins. The room we had was okay, don't expect great views at the price. I was not okay though with the blanket, it was lacking a proper cover. Breakfast was the usual affair and you cannot fault something that works for all. Bathrooms are great with tub and hot water. They provide shampoo and foam bath too. Check out was quick and hassle free. I personally would go again if traveling on a budget.
