Gu Hotel Patong in Patong

Awesome view from infinity pool, staff friendly and approachable. Walk out and straight road access to Blanga street towards the beach. Massage outside hotel was very good. Been to many different resorts and hotels in Phuket, will definitely be back at Gig Gu.

Great location, good sized rooms. Just that many of the rooms don't have good views outside. Otherwise, the facilities is piggy-bag on Gig Hotel, which is absolutely a delight.

The location, service, and cleanliness were all excellent. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, and massage centers nearby, which makes the stay very convenient.
It is also within the service area for many day tours, so I was able to enjoy free hotel pickup for all the tours I booked. The breakfast was varied and delicious, offering plenty of choices. The rooftop pool is very nice and a great place to relax. The staff was friendly, polite, and always helpful.

The hotel’s location is excellent—close to restaurants, services, and the main streets of Patong Beach. The beach is only a few minutes’ walk away, and the markets are also nearby. Most daily needs are easily accessible on foot.

The penthouse I booked was outstanding. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and each one had its own private bathroom, which added great convenience.

The guest house was very clean, and the hotel facilities were generally good. The main pool had a lovely view. However, the gym was quite modest and lacked many essential machines. As for breakfast, it was below average, so if you have the option, I would recommend booking without breakfast since there are plenty of great breakfast choices nearby.

All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and I would especially like to highlight Ms. Tina and Ms. Boo. Their professionalism, constant willingness to help, and warm, genuine smiles made a noticeable difference throughout my stay. Their refined and welcoming attitude added a special touch to the experience, and I truly appreciated their exceptional service.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I hope to return to the hotel again.

We really liked the hotel. The room wasn't new and had a sewer smell, but the hot water was always good and the pressure was good. They cleaned it every day, and toiletries were constantly replenished, even if we didn't need them. There's a refrigerator and kettle, all of which are included. There wasn't a closet in the room, but there were mugs and hangers, which was sufficient for us. The air conditioning might be noisy, but we don't suffer from insomnia and were able to fall asleep without it. The breakfasts were varied, with something new every day. The rooftop has a gorgeous pool, a small gym, and a sauna with panoramic windows, which was a real treat. There's also a rooftop restaurant.

The hotel is clean, the food is delicious, the staff is very helpful, and the facilities are complete.
