Rawai Private Villas - Pool and Garden in Rawai

This was an extremely poor and unacceptable stay.

First, the hotel's location was extremely hidden and the signage was severely inadequate, making it almost impossible to find on my own. Furthermore, there was no front desk; in the blazing midday sun, I searched outdoors for a long time without success and had to contact the hotel by phone. I went to my room and waited for check-in staff.

After entering the room, I searched for slippers repeatedly without success, turning over almost every cabinet and storage space, but still found no slippers or any related signs. This led me to mistakenly believe that the villa did not provide slippers.

Then I went to the pool. When hotel staff arrived to check me in, I got up from the pool to open the door. Because the floor tiles were extremely slippery, and the hotel had not provided slippers or any anti-slip signs, I slipped and fell hard, landing directly on the back of my head, resulting in severe bleeding.

After the accident, I was rushed to the hospital (by ambulance), where I received 10 stitches to my head wound, and the medical expenses amounted to 14,000 Thai Baht.

This incident was entirely due to serious negligence on the part of the hotel management, including but not limited to:

• Lack of clear check-in instructions and front desk service

• Failure to provide basic amenities (slippers) in a clearly visible area; staff had to find them in a locker at the very back.

• Inadequate anti-slip measures in the pool area

• No safety warnings provided

This not only severely impacted my travel experience but also caused substantial harm to my personal safety. There was no apology upon check-out. Additionally, the room facilities were old and severely worn; the door lock wouldn't lock even after a minute. It was a bit frightening to stay there, especially with elderly people.

Although the property provides everything that is essential, the furniture and contents are a bit worn out. The interior looks a bit gloomy. The air-conditioning is excellent. However the water in the bathroom is very weak. The hot water is not hot enough especially at night time when we come back from outside and we want to take a hot shower before going to bed.
