Description

Compared to other hotel complex, set in a secluded location in the popular Chaweng beach, you'll be unusually bright in color. Unique decor and intricate patterns of interior decoration, also executed in warm colours. You can enjoy a Thai massage right on the beach or racing on jet skis and in the evening enjoy a Thai cuisine for a table in the outdoor restaurant under the sounds of live music.

Location: Samui island, 500 metres from the Thai Boxing stadium, 30 km from Chaweng beach, 7 km from Samui airport.

Consists of a main 3 storey building and 2-storey buildings.

Total area: 89 m2 030.

The hotel has 79 rooms. Rooms overlooking the garden and pool.

Beach: own sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel. The first coastal line. Umbrellas, chairs, mattresses and beach towels - free of charge.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment of arrival, the staff were so warm and welcoming. They are a happy team with a great sense of humour, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
Many breakfast options and a large food & drink menu. You can lay by the pool or relax on a lounge at the beach, both very quiet.
The facilities are clean and grounds well kept. Resort is in a great location and close to everything.
They’re renovating the restaurant at the beach but no noise can be heard from the rooms and it caused no disruption to us at all.

I’ve stayed at Baan Samui 5 times in the past 2 years and I can honestly say it is my favorite hotel in the world. The grounds are beautiful, the guests are respectful, and the staff is so friendly and amazing they feel like family. They have gone out of their way many times to help me out in difficult situations due to travel snags that I feel indebted to them. I will definitely return again…it truly is my home away from home. Thank you to everyone there 😘

The hotel is in a very good location, close to everything. The beach is beautiful! The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean. There is no wardrobe in the deluxe room, we could not unpack our clothes, we dressed from the suitcase for 9 days.

What an unreal place to stay! The location, the rooms, and the breakfast are so so good.
The staff are really friendly and funny adding to an even better stay.

Perfect Location: You are right on the best stretch of Chaweng Beach and just steps away from the town’s best restaurants and shops. It’s the ultimate convenience.
Warm Hospitality: The staff are the heart of this hotel. Their genuine kindness and attentive service made us feel at home from day one.
Great Value: For a beachfront property, the price is unbeatable. You get clean and comfortable rooms without the luxury price tag.
If you’re looking for a charming, central, and friendly place to stay that offers excellent value for money, this is it.

We have stayed at Baan Samui 3 or 4 times, including our honeymoon and a recent trip with our 7 year old daughter. The staff are wonderful and really make the whole stay so enjoyable.

The premises are scrupulously clean and tidy but it is an older resort and it shows in some of the smaller details. Do not let this put you off - the showers are hot, the pool is cool, the food is great and the minibar prices are very reasonable.

We have stayed in a ground floor superior room and a junior suite and love them both. Those clean, crisp sheets and powerful aircon are perfect for Thailand.

Located right on the main strip of Chaweng beach, but with enough buffer to escape the hustle and bustle, it’s nestled between the nightlife of the street, and alongside the beach.

Special thanks to Tan who exchanged gifts and handmade cards with our daughter throughout our most recent stay.

We love it, can’t wait to get back there. Home away from home.

Really lovely place combining rustic style in vibrant colours with slick beach bar-restaurant. Attractive asymmetric pool with 'waterfall' features surrounded by palm, and other, trees. Food excellent and staff wonderfully friendly (like all Thais). Great position on Chaweng beach - neither too far nor too close to the 'action' around theArk Bar. Bedrooms maybe need a bit of TLC here and there but they're clean, adequately roomy and have nice balconies overlooking the gardens. Thank you Baan Samui, wish we were staying longer.

Love it: not the best hotel, not the worst..BUT we keep going back, 4th time we have stayed there. Staff are excellent.
Rooms are interesting, it is Thailand. Ground areas are excellent. Hotel is unusual when you arrive, as the frontal area does not look like a hotel. Once inside you will be greeted & made to feel very welcome.
You can either use the pool or the beach.
Across from the main entrance is a small supermarket, which will cater for most needs.
There are plenty of choices to eat on the area. Probably to many cuisines, it does get confusing. Try the Chaweng Night Market Food Center.

But I have to admit some of my friends would not like the Hotel, or the area, but it is Thailand.
Best way I can describe is: we keep going back & can not wait until the next time, hopefully it will be soon. You will not have high blood pressure here...........

The hotel is not 4 stars. The rooms smell of damp. The place where Breakfast is very unkempt, dirty. Tables and chairs are sticky. The Breakfast is continental, no frills. Sorry, made a mistake with the hotel.

Super convenient location. Literally connected to central Samui Mall. Room is ok , a bit noisy from the hall way. Shampoo and body wash has no label , you have to guess which one it is. Front desk was friendly enough and we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout. If you are looking for something that's close to everything , this is the place !

This is a student dorm * just to give you a clear picture.

The place is much older and run down than in the photo

Room is clean but the MUSTY DAMP smell everywhere.

Corridor is exactly what you have in a student hall … very old, smell and run down.

Location is right next to Central shopping mall - convenient for those who wants to go to shopping mall.

Reception is unfriendly with an unwelcoming look.

The location was really good the hostel is directly next to the Samui Central Shopping Area.
The room were clean, the bed was really comfortable in my opinion and they offered daily room service. There was only one big disadvantage for me, the air condition only works when the room key is in the room. So every time you leave the room, the air is standing, really warm and smelling really bad also because of the toilet paper in the trash, ...
Another problem with the room was that the a few towels had stains on them.
All in all we really liked the stay, if you want to close to the center this is the perfect Hotel.
Tipp: Ask for a room in the 2. house out of 3, because there is the rooftop pool and the laundry room.

I review hotel rooms on the level how my sleep and therefore my rest was.
It was very bad. The walls are so thin, that I was woken up a couple of times because my neighbors were talking loud.
In the room are two very bright blue LEDs. They are so bright, that the room is not dark at all. It's blue. I tried to cover them with a towel which worked so so ok. On the ceiling there is a smoke detector, which is very good, but it has a blinking led light as well, very annoying in the dark as well.

My Rest factor was very low. Everything else of the stay was ok.

The COSI is not a luxury hotel but it is exceptionally good value for the price.
Simple rooms, clean, well presented with minimal extras. A great place to stay if you don't intend on being inside the room much, as the room is very plain and has no balcony or view.
Very good location at Samui Central. Room was quiet, clean, comfortable beds and pillows. 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes drive to the airport.
Housekeeping staff and staff working at the front desk were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
