Reality Check: Not Exactly Paradise

If you're dreaming of a tropical getaway with slow Wi-Fi, loose tiles, crooked doors, and a mosquito population that rivals Jurassic Park 🦟— then congratulations, you’ve found your spot.

Let’s start with the basics:
🏚️ The hotel has seen better days. Maintenance? Apparently on vacation too. Cracked tiles, doors that don’t quite close right, and decor that whispers “2003 was a good year.”

📶 The Wi-Fi? An absolute joke. It crawled slower than a hungover snail and didn’t even reach inside our room. So unless you plan to do all your scrolling from the parking lot, don’t count on staying connected.

🦟 Mosquitos? Oh, they’re everywhere. Inside, outside, probably with their own loyalty program. Bring repellent or be prepared to donate blood daily.

🍽️ The food was fine. Not amazing, not terrible. Just... food. And the staff? They did their job — no more, no less. Not unfriendly, just not exactly bursting with tropical joy either.

🏊 The pool is actually one of the highlights: small but clean and refreshingly nice. A solid 7/10 — assuming you’re not expecting an infinity pool overlooking the ocean.

🌊 As for the beach... let’s just say walking along it isn’t always an option. Depending on the tide, you might find yourself wading or climbing over rocks like a confused explorer.
The wiev is quite good, and you can easily follow what's going on during the day.

🚶‍♂️ And yes — it’s a long way from downtown Chaweng. So unless you enjoy long walks (or paying for taxis every time you want a coconut), be prepared to feel a bit isolated.

If you’re super chill, have zero expectations, and love a rustic vibe — you might actually like it here.
If you like working Wi-Fi, bug-free rooms, and doors that open and close properly… maybe keep looking.

Very disappointed with the place No beach Impractical for swimming On the left a garbage dump brought by the sea Old bungalow Uncomfortable mattress very very hard and on one side of the bed you have the wall A lot of habitue .... on arriving we had the impression of not being in chaweng but a rest club Breakfast ok but served at 8:30 am (too late) Very friendly staff (the 2 ladies) and cleaning staff too Nice swimming pool But this is not at all what we are looking for we lost 3 days (because of the comments of the regulars) which I notice does not support the truth To access the main road. 1 big hill to climb And it's 2.5 km from the center yes there is an atmosphere If you are looking for a quiet place without atmosphere without a beach you are without being too difficult you are in the right place My comments may hurt but it's the truth We unfortunately chose this place because of complacent comments from regulars and it's not very nice of them All truth is good to say
