The food was average and okay, but unfortunately we left feeling scammed.
When paying, my husband gave me a 1,000 baht bill (the only one he had) to complete the payment. After we paid and started to leave, the staff ran after us claiming we had only given 100 baht instead of 1,000 — which is absolutely not true. I checked my wallet multiple times and was certain about the amount we paid.
They refused to let us leave and made us wait around 20 minutes while they “checked” the security cameras. We were there with our crying baby and just wanted to go. Eventually, we felt pressured to pay another 1,000 baht just to leave.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place.

Don’t go here!!!!
We went here, 1 min after ordering we got appetizer. When we eat that, after 2 minutes more we got all the main course. Half cold and they were just super stressed. My conclusion is: profit. Just take so many in as possible and serve as fast as possible and out. Also order sex on the beach in a pineapple - totally warm.
For the food: I have been in Thailand 9 times and now for 3 weeks in Kamala and Khao Lak. This was the worst Thai food.
Spend your money somewhere else. And service was really lacking. I told the cashier about my feedback but she didn’t understand.
Update: the day after both me and my girlfriend got food poisoned, now we just lay down in the hotel room. We eat the same food (green curry, pad krapow, tom yum). So again, don’t go here.

We just went here yesterday with a 2-year old. I was a bit scared of the last reviews about food poisoning, but food was actually good and we are feeling fine. I ate papaya salad and my husband had a chicken dish and my baby also ate a small portion. Very nice staff towards us and the baby.

Superb location right on the sands, good value on room, don't expect too much, it's basic, cleaned every day with water provided. Loved the restaurant view, food and drinks good. Staff very helpful all around. Recommended!

I TOTTALY DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS CAFE! Food was plain and not so tasty but that wasn’t a problem at all. After dinner in this place I had a terrible poisoning with stomach ache, body and headache, diarrhea, TERRIBLE vomiting and nausea for 12 hours.
For inflammation, this day I didn’t eat anywhere anymore. In this place I ate only Tom Yum and a little bit grilled squid. My holidays were spoiled. My husband also had problems with diarrhea despite the fact that he ordered other dishes there.
Take care of yourself and find another place to eat if you don’t want to go to hospital.

Great place to stay spacious room with a view, very clean , Sophie was a brilliant host and Took was fantastic ready to give a hug whenever she seen us, loved the hospitality shown,lots of Russians now which can be a bit annoying but Kamala is always beautiful

very very good hotel, the rooms are very large and all equipped with a fridge and a TV with a balcony overlooking the pool. the staff is very nice and the prices very correct.

Found them via Google Maps with a great price. Showed up at reception. No one there. A guest took me to their restaurant. There I met a restaurant employee who barely spoke Engiish and didn't speak Thai. She said 1500/night. I said no, too expensive. Finally after a lot of waiting (I mean a lot) I gave up, made the booking online for 900 and came back. Had to wait again while they decided what to do. Finally got the room. It wasn't awful but nothing special whatsoever and undoubtedly not worth 1500. Given the hassle of procuring it, it wasn't really worth 900 either. As I write this I'm staying in another place that is much better value and who actually have dedicated staff on the reception. I'd suggest give Deng's a miss and find a place that actually wants your business.
