U Sabai Living Hotel in Patong

I have been at this place for three days i felt like I could get something good but it was very upset the location is very bad because of the traffic noise at night i struggle to sleep and the room was clean but u will feel like its very old .. staff was good but at the end they charge us for bed sheet3200 tb so that was shocking they said it damage and we were was not sure if its before or after we didn’t care because we was very tired when we registered so am highly recommend you to do not book at this place if u don’t like to fight and you are in hurry be careful 👍🏻

am writing to share my experience regarding my recent stays at your hotel. I am a traveler from Turkey, and within the last four months, I have stayed at your hotel on three separate occasions — once for five nights, once for three nights, and once for a single night. From a facilities and cleanliness perspective, your hotel has made a positive impression. The hygiene standards and compliance certificates are commendable. My first stay, which was around April, was in a standard room with a balcony facing the main road. The room was clean and satisfactory. On my second visit, about one or two months later, the standard balcony rooms were fully booked, so I stayed in a side-facing room. Again, the cleanliness was well maintained by the housekeeping staff, who I must emphasize were always polite and professional. However, despite the cleanliness and good housekeeping, I experienced serious issues with the behavior of the reception staff. Even over minor matters — very small billing discrepancies or misunderstandings — the staff became unreasonably aggressive and unfriendly. On several occasions, I was quoted a price, and within only a few minutes, the amount would suddenly change, with a higher figure being demanded. Although the differences were small, this behavior caused unnecessary stress and discomfort during my holidays. As a guest who travels thousands of kilometers and visits Thailand with the expectation of the well-known Thai hospitality and friendliness, such treatment was disappointing and unacceptable. I strongly believe that a guest should not feel pressured, insulted, or taken advantage of over minor amounts of money. It undermines the otherwise positive impression of the hotel. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the Night Market and a major shopping mall, which makes it convenient for travelers. However, due to the repeated negative behavior of the reception staff, I cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers. My experience was pathetic. Cheap I must say. Though the rooms were cleaned nicely by the staff and beds were comfortable but that were the only positives. The worst aspect of this hotel which I think should be the first priority in this business is the hospitality i.e how you treat your guests/visitors. Coming back to the hotel after a tiring day on 20th Dec 2024, the receptionist shows me the towel from my room and tells me that I will be charged 500 Baht for it! as it was soiled with smudgy spots. I was told that I should get this washed myself and if it comes out clean then I won’t be charged else 500 Baht! Now, my disappointment is…I have stayed at multiple hotels across countries and no hotel is so conscious about their towels that they tell the customer to pay a penalty or get it washed! So cheap! They don’t bother so much about it as it can be cleaned. I spent an hour to make the staff understand but then I gave up, took the towel with me and guess what!…I bought a Vanish oxi action powder for 15 Baht from an 7 eleven, used it myself and all the stains were gone!!! Just think about it!…they could have got the stains cleaned themselves like in any hotel they normally bleach their white clothes, but these guys did not attempt only and were ready to confront and charge a hefty 500B to the customer for it. Secondly, which hotel in this world puts up a photo frame on the walls in the room mentioning the amount of all the amenities in the room! ***! Felt so cheap that the owner thought of mentioning the penalty prices of each and every item like spoons, towels, cups etc. (I took a pic of it, I would love everyone to see the picture I attach) Also, they give no toothbrush and toothpaste, they also take a deposit amount of 1000 Baht in the beginning which is not mentioned anywhere. I think the owner must have had a bad experience with a customer in the past but he needs to get over his PTSD and ensure real service/hospitality in the hotel business. Currently, I am staying in KL in a hotel that even greeted me with Xmas goodies. Now I would never expect extras or goodies but U Sabai Living should get their manners and atleast basic amenities right!

I had a very disappointing experience with U Sabai Living Hotel. On December 3, I accidentally booked a second room for the same dates I had already secured with a free cancellation policy. Realizing my error, I canceled the non-refundable booking within just 2 hours, well over two months before the check-in date (February 14). However, I was charged the full amount despite the fact that the room could easily be rebooked. The hotel refused to consider the negligible 1-minute difference from their policy cutoff time (cancellation at 23:50 instead of 23:49). The 10% discount on the room was minimal and not worth the financial strain this situation has caused. I expected a more understanding approach, especially considering the circumstances, but my requests were met with inflexibility. This experience has left me deeply disappointed, and I would caution future guests to double-check their bookings carefully, as mistakes are not accommodated here.
