Except it is close to the city gate and night market, it is the worst hotel among the 3 during my stay in Chaing Mai. All my family members got itchy on bed. Staff are not very willing to provide further help with my inquiries unlike other hotels. The hair-dryer is not plugged but directly connected to socket with exposing wires. Long check in time, I booked it 1 month ago. Didn't use the pool and had breakfast there so no comments on that.

Nice big room, comfy beds, cleaning not that good. The furniture is old and bruised. Found 2 cockroaches in the room. Huge breakfast that even I as a vegan could take part of. Pool is nice, even though it only had sun between 8 to 11.30 am. The location is perfect, near everything.

Great location, Lovely reception area, terrible hotel. The rooms are in need of huge investment.

We had a power cut for at least 6 hours, we checked out before power was restored, which did not help. As a result, the breakfast service was badly disrupted.

Reception was overwhelmed with complaints. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

WE booked a room With KingSize Bed.
WE checked in at 14:00 and WE become a 2 Single Bed Room. i ASK why ?
the answer: i booked the Hotel Last Minute.
ITS Not my Problem. A Hotel which think is Premium.
But they don't have their system under control.
They even told me that if I wanted a king-size bed, I should find another hotel. We stayed and ended up sleeping together in an 80cm bed, which was expensive. That's not how I imagine my vacation.

We had a suite here, well worth the extra money.
Perfect location
Staff were absolutely brilliant
Room service food was great
Linen service was incredibly fast
We did the Mae hong son loop for 5 days, and we left out bags at the hotel free of charge because we were returning for a night
💯 would recommend this place.
If anything the rooms are slightly dated, but we learned to actually love this.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old town. You do need to cross some busy streets to get to old town, but this is not really a huge concern. The hotel also provides a dedicated shuttle bus to the mall, but there are way too many people using it. The breakfast was not bad. However I must point out that the room is extremely old, had poor lightinghad a dirty feel to it. The bed was not soft and smelled. The worst was the towel, which had serious amount of stain on them which can only be seen when light is shining through it. Also the AC in the rooms are absolutely out of control, wayyy too cold even on the lowest setting. I won’t come back here due to the cleanliness issue and the AC.

Amora tapae hotel is located just a stone’s throw away at tapae gate wherein you can have photos with the pigeon. Very good breakfast selection, wide variety. The room is superb, with hot water and bath tub. The shampoo and body wash smell good, I love their scent. Staff are very kind and polite.
This hotel looks better, new, and clean in person than in photograps and videos that I have watched! Amazing!
Highly recommended. Will book again!

Good location with walking distance to Chang Moi. Although the setting is in old style, the room is spacious and clean.
