An absolutely fantastic resort in Chiang Mai! Besides the swimming pool, they also have a library with tons of books and beverages. It's wonderful.
The Rachamankha Hotel is an oasis of peace in Chiang Mai, and you feel relaxed from the moment you step inside. The rooms have an air of understated elegance, the inner yards, the lounge and the pool are also incredible
It’s super nice boutique hotel. You can get true quality time for resting and relaxing. One thing to complain is that their service people has limited English capability
Local staff are sincere and empathetic which is Thai people’s excellent quality. A perfect hideaway for a relaxing break while experiencing the culture of Chiang Mai
The architecture is traditional local villa style, nice layout in the backyard with tropical greens, the atmosphere is simply decorated with good old days crafts
Highly recommended! Lovely stay and time really stand still when you stay here, it's so peaceful and quiet that I can do my yoga and meditation all day long

I had a very pleasant stay at At the Train Station Chiang Mai. The location is very convenient, especially if you are traveling by train, because it is only a short walk from Chiang Mai Railway Station
Got quite a good experience here since a lot of people are staying.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in process was smooth. There are also small cafes and local food spots nearby, which makes it easy to find something to eat without traveling far
The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed. Even though the hotel is close to the station, the area was quiet enough to rest well at night
Overall, it’s a good value for the price, and I would stay here again if I need to catch a train or want a simple, comfortable stay
It’s a great option for travelers who want a convenient and cozy place to stay in Chiang Mai

We booked all our trips through the hotel which worked out flawlessly. The location for us was perfect
If there was one small suggestion, it would be to add a few more hooks or hangers in the room for towels and swimwear — this would make it even more convenient
The swimming pools are stunning and very well maintained — perfect for unwinding at any time of the day
In short.. Simply.. Impressed with Wiang Thapae Resort.. Service, cleanliness, rooms, food, parking, all the staff are impressed. Let me say this 10 is really filling, very tasty, a chance to rest again.
Clean rooms, nice staff, great welcome service. The pool is clean, the atmosphere is very good.
My wife and I stayed in early December and were very happy with our experience at Viang Thapae! The Manager was very helpful upgrading our room after we arrived! It is beautiful little oasis just outside the Old City

Decent budget hotel in a great location close to the Old Town, with a pool and newly renovated rooms on the 4th floor. For only 40 US$ in peak Christmas season a VERY good value for money.
The bed was decent enough for a few nights' sleep. We had the breakfast, and it was a standard offering—coffee, toast, some eggs. It got us fueled up without any fuss. The staff were polite and efficient
Great hotel with welcoming, friendly staff. We got a delux room for 5 nights and feel it’s the perfect size! Staff helped us up to our room with bags which was greatly appreciated☺️
Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, which is what matters most. The room was simple and functional. Everything worked, and the temperature control was easy to manage
Beds are comfortable and any issue was fixed with great efficiency
Check-in and check-out were fast

My favorite is the pool and the spa area. Staff are all very nice and helpful. If you want to have a good night's rest from being out the whole day, this is the place
A Peaceful Oasis in the Heart of Chiang Mai
This was our third stay at At Pingnakorn Hotel, and it truly feels like coming home to a serene paradise. The hotel's greatest strength is its beautiful, natural setting
Surrounded by greenery, it's incredibly peaceful—especially in the cool winter season. Falling asleep to the gentle sounds of rustling leaves and birds singing is an unforgettable experience
This is such a great boutique hotel to stay in Nimman area. It’s located in quiet area, far from the main road but near enough to maya mall and one nimman. The room is spacious with balcony
The room was clean and well equipped. Soundproofing could be improved, but overall there was nothing to complain about. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming
We booked a Deluxe Triple Room and were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Suite, which was almost twice the size and very comfortable, especially for elderly guests

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the outstanding service we received from the kitchen staff, led by the amazing manager, Pax
Everything was fine, but the soundproofing was poor.
The room is spacious and bright. The swimming pool is well shaded and the rooftop garden is nice. The breakfast is offered as a buffet with local delicacy in good taste.
Clean quiet hotel about 20 minutes from the old city. Rooms are spacious and clean with all amenities. Grab is a handy app for staying in Chiang Mai. Rooftop patio is a nice place to relax and get a view of the mountains
The room was good and the reception staff were good, but I think one improvement would be a small table in the room, useful for eating in the room or on the balcony. There was only one chair provided
A little improvement to the furniture would make it perfect. One more thing: the parking lot is excellent, the car is protected from the sun and there's plenty of space

What a beautiful hotel! I loved waking up to stunning views right from my bed, and the private pool in our room was a huge hit with the kids! A massive thank you to the staff as well – I accidentally left my passport and over 2,000 USD behind when checking out
Stay longer, save more! 3 nights for the price of 2 at Thantara Resort’s Pool Villa. Book 3, pay 2! Enjoy a private Pool Villa stay at Thantara Resort Chiang Mai. A Haven of Serenity. 5-Star! Idyllisch
The rooms are quiet and comfortable, with a small swimming pool
They found it, kept it safe at the front desk, and then even went out of their way to deliver it to me when I returned to Chiang Mai two days later! Truly grateful for their incredible honesty and service!
We stayed here for 10 days and it was just lovely! Everything was perfect. The beds are really comfortable, our villa was spotless clean and beautyful
Great Resort it was really nice there, the staff is 100% focused on the customer. It could be more included or without extra charge.

The rooms are spacious and clean but the bed and couch are extremely firm and a bit uncomfortable. The rain shower did not work and the kettle lid was broken, which almost led me to burning my hand with boiling water
We had a wonderful family stay at this hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for everyone. The kids especially enjoyed the facilities, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay
Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay for our family. Definitely recommended for families traveling with kids!
Hotel is great. A little old fashioned but great on the traditional side. A little out the city centre (only a 15mins drive). But has everything you need
The place is pretty with many spots/ corners to hang out with friends. The staff are very very kind and helpful, from asissting with speaking to tour and grab drivers. The hospitality is the best 😊
Because of the low price and large availability of rooms, they seem to receive many group travelers in tours as opposed to couples, so that introduced some noise in the open air hallways at times

Good for a solo traveler on a budget. I had to book for an extra night so I wouldn’t have to drag my bags everywhere, and they were accommodating. My only complaint is that the pool was closed (for the month)
Very good. Clean room, good breakfast and located at a very strategic location. Thumb up!
If you're expecting high-end or luxury service, then you should probably book a 5-star hotel instead. The hotel offers a gym and a swimming pool, which is definitely a plus. However, the gym closes at 7 p
Although the settings are a bit old, the service of the staff was good and they are courteous. Facilities are generally acceptable
The hotel is dated but clean and nice. The location is great and all staff are very helpful. Breakfast area has nice view of the Tha Phae Gate or pool. Good breakfast
We have a great staying at the hotel. The hotel was just opposite the Tha Phae ae Gate. Easily access to other places by tuk tuk / song tee / Grab. Breakfast was good and the staff are very friendly

The place is beautiful. Peaceful, clean, very Chiang Mai style. The room was beautiful but not pretentious, clean and functional. The pool was great after a day of walking around. Location amazing.
Tranquil hotel in old town. Very nice gardens and roof top pool (a little cold for us in December). Polite and helpful staff and good rooms.
The concierge lady is very helpful, she helped me arrange a private car day trip with some unconventional logistics. Not only she delivered, she got me the best price in town. Overall, we enjoyed our stay
And sitting by the patio or terrace overlooking the pond is such a nice retreat from the bustling of nearby markets and shops. I don’t know if every room is equipped with a jacuzzi tub but ours did
I've stayed here before, and I very much appreciate the location. Short walking distance to Tha Phae Gate, markets and shops. Bed on the firm side, but not a brick
Quaint little botique hotel. Spacious clean rooms. Lovely property located in a nice part of old town. 7 11 across the road

Second time staying at this hotel and never disappointed. Super helpful and friendly staff. The swimming pool is clean and the bubble bath in the suite is fantastic
Pros: The swimming pool and the large rooms.
Cons: Room B1: Very hard bed, and no WiFi. Got switched to A12: No TV service, even after technician came to try and fix it.
The rate was low, but the service poor.
Good location and services. Really big room with cheap price. I would like to recommend for people who want quiet place hotel in Chiangmai capital city.
It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations. I only wish there were more signs for the hotel entrance.
It’s my second stay here and I like this place! Friendly, clean and comfortable! Thanks

Old but the room is big and the swimming pool is OK. I didn’t have breakfast so I don’t know the quality.
The room is well decorated, spacious and super clean (love that comfortable bed), welcome drink free. Helpful and staff were very attentive during my stay. Hidden gems 💎!! Highly recommended. :)
The hotel room is very large, being assigned to the room next to the pool, you can walk directly from the room out to the pool, the environment is good, the location is not too remote, but in and out must have a car or order Grab, nearby 7-11, and a stall of grilled chicken, walk farther a few restaurants! The pool is not too small, the water depth is from 1
8m, there are no lifeguards, be careful if you don't know how to swim, the sunbathing spot will be more disappointing! Hotel WiFi is very poor, often fails for no reason, complained to the Front Desk that too many people use, but in practice is not received at any time, want to use Front Desk's WiFi, hotel outdoors quite a lot of dollars! Another is breakfast, the so-called buffet, very little food...
The room is big and comfortable.
The location is obviously a bit far from the city, but that doesn't matter because we already knew that. The tranquility is out of this world, though

The staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was served to my room and was delicious. I could order more. There were welcome drinks and cute snacks. My kids loved them.
If you are looking for cozy boutique hotel, this is one for you. Their service are very good especially front deck ms cartoon and ms day
This place is AMAZING! We spent 3 nights there and really enjoyed everything. The room was spacious and clean, the swimming pool was nice with a kids area, and the restaurant was very good
This hotel is suitable for families. The rooms are spacious, the environment is great, and the view is beautiful. We were quite satisfied with all aspects. However, it's best to have your own car if you stay here
I stayed in The Chiang Mai Riversid Hotel from 30 Nov to 03 Dec 2025 the hotel is Great Thai Hotel, Highly complementing the staff at this hotel, they are welcoming, sincere, formative, attractive and attentive and helpful
I book direct with the hotel so I got daily laundry ( few pcs) for free, daily breakfast and mini bar all included. Parking is not an issue if you drive. Near by here has got a night market which is only 10mins drive

A very apologetic housekeeper came up in the evening with our towels, which was nice but shouldn’t really happen in the first place. Hard Mattress: the mattress is basically an orthopaedic mattress
Stayed for 4 nights here and loved the hotel. Spotless clean everywhere and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Location was very good and we walked into the Old City and Nimman from the hotel
The option of breakfast not to much but enough for everyone, delicious and serving 6. 00 am
The pool also good and have a small gyms. The lobby have a free coffee and water and snacks for the guest
The only problem we found was that the local taxi drivers couldn’t find the hotel and we ended up walking from the main road on many occasions
The hotel have parking and rental scooter and rental bicycle. The staffs are very friendly and helpful
Could possibly have some signage on the entrance to the road leading to the hotel?

The pool was lovely and always the perfect temperature — being able to order poolside drinks and relax between activities was such a bonus. The location is excellent: close to the airport and right in the Old City
Overall, the hotel is pretty good. The pool is huge, but sometimes non-guests, particularly foreigners, use it. In the room, there was a crack and a dent in the floor, which was quite uncomfortable
Very beautiful and spacious hotel we really love the presidential suite for our family of 4. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We also love the pool which is beautiful
My first-floor poolside room had a heavy padlock instead of a modern keycard system, which wasn’t as convenient to use. Lastly, there’s no hotel transport, but Grab rides to and from the airport were under $3
The new room was very spacious and close to the pool. Service was lacking a little compared to other places we had stayed in Thailand. The included breakfast was just okay and nothing spectacular
Overall, it’s a beautiful property with spacious rooms, a fantastic pool, and a great location — I’d definitely stay again!

Great hotel in a great location. Beautiful grounds around the pool, and plenty of sitting areas outside of the room. Fantastic breakfast. Downside is that the beds are very very hard and therefore quite uncomfortable.
The hotel environment is quite beautiful, and it's very comfortable for swimming and sunbathing. The breakfast tastes pretty good, but the air conditioning in the room is too loud and a bit noisy.
Only one person at the front desk spoke English, but honestly, with translation apps these days, it wasn't an issue for communication. The best part? The duvet wasn't damp at all, which made sleeping really comfortable
We stayed for three consecutive nights without any hassle. The only downside was the swimming pool water – we both broke out in a rash after just one swim
I travel full-time and go from one hotel to the next. I was so pleasantly surprised with how wonderful the common areas were furnished with antiques. Also, it was like a little paradise garde
Great location in the Old City. Breakfast has many quality options with the best bread I've had in Thailand. Nice pool where you can lie back and forget you are in the city

Have a pleasant stay in this nicely designed hotel, with swimming pool, greenery all around much like living in a garden. Good breakfast location for a price of 109 baht overlooking the openness of greenery
This hotel is lovely. Staffs are friendly, clean pool is not too deep, food is tasty.
The only one thing I don't like in the non-smoking room is the window that I can't open.
Hope to visit again.
Sometimes, the make-up room service forgets to refill toilet paper or leaves hair on the bed and floor. The swimming pool is clean, and the gym is also clean but small and not well-ventilated
There are many things the room lacks, so please prepare shower gel, comb, toothbrush and toothpaste, and a hair towel. Also, the shampoo provided is too small, so it’s better to bring your own
The location is quite good but you have to walk a little bit, the staff was very friendly, swimming pool very good, and breakfast was also nice. It was nice!
Good location, but hotel is clearly becoming old and not so well maintained
Swimming pool is the best of this hotel
Cleaning would be a bit more extensive

Very nice hotel for the price. Big rooms, nice swimming pool and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast included in room price; we ate like kings every morning. 👍
My 1st stay in this hotel was end Aug 2025, it's perfect
This time the 3rd week of Jan 2026, the feeling was different
I asked the reception young lady (short haircut), if possible to arrange a room, away to the lift and not the direction to face the main road, same as last time I stayed here
Location of the hotel is near north east. close to famous shabu buffet as per photo… swimming pool is great for sun tan. near one gym which is 100 bath for day pass… hotel is great value for money
The staff were friendly and kind, and we were able to get an early check-in, which we really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good for the price

The staff are all very friendly, and it's spacious and not crowded, so you can relax. There are plenty of shops nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat or drink
The family suite has a double bed and two single beds. It is very spacious. The front desk staff is very friendly. There is also an outdoor swimming pool and it is very close to the ancient city:)
Everything was perfect. The staff were very friendly.
It's also very close to Ong Thai Massage School
The room is a bit old. The cleaning is not very good. The TV is not clear. The refrigerator is very old. The good thing is that it is near a lot of places to eat. It is in the city, so it is convenient to go anywhere.
Comfortable, surprisingly big, room. The furniture a bit 'well worn' but served its purpose.
Friendly, helpful staff.
A good position for getting to both the old town and Nimman - and for exploring Santitham.
