Service was great, top marks. The room was clean, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices and was delicious. We had the dinner buffet as well. There was plenty of food, but it was not that great compared to the price we paid. Overall, it was a great experience staying there, with plenty of activities to enjoy.

The room was a bit old, but spacious, and located on the 42nd floor with an open view. Breakfast was on the 82nd floor, offering a good variety of food that tasted decent.

Traveling as a family of five, we had to book two rooms. The hotel rooms were even worse than a budget hotel like Home Inn in China, but we tolerated it for the proximity to Karon Beach. I've stayed at Katabamgo before, and while it definitely offers better value for money, I still prefer Orchid because it's much closer to Karon Beach, and Karon Beach itself is more beautiful.

The check in was a bit troublesome (they pointed me at the wrong room so I had to walk back to the reception and take another key). They apologise profusely and even offered a complementary fruit basket. Great hotel with nice amenities. Two large pools, close to the nightlife.. Just remember there are 8 or 9 Andaman hotels in Patong alone.. Don't put the wrong one in your GPS and start walking and have your phone die and lose your passport. A standard family-friendly hotel. Even though the Christmas prices were outrageous, it mostly met this mom's need to relax while traveling with kids. We didn't leave the hotel for two days and the kids were never bored, playing until they instantly fell asleep every night.

We loved this place, though it's a bit little far from the shopping area. Grab app, really helped, we can go places with a minimal cost (cheap) and can reach our destinations really fast than riding the train. The hotel is huge and their breakfast is nice.

Nice hotel. They have plenty of rooms and ballrooms, but they’re not ready to handle big events back-to-back. We attended a large event with more than a thousand people, and suddenly the check-in process became a nightmare. The location is far from anything, but the custom halal breakfast for us was delicious. The gala dinner stood out — both the service and the food were excellent.

Great hotel overall. However, the bathroom needs to be cleaner. There was mold in the shower.
