This was my first time staying in a villa hotel with a private pool. Honestly, for a hotel of this caliber, there's no real need for a villa, especially since the hotel's main pool is also quite good. Over 3,000 a night is definitely too expensive. The biggest flaw with Koh Samui, in general, is that both the beaches and the sea are pretty mediocre.

This is not a user friendly hotel, if you cannot deal with stairs. My biggest complaint is why on earth would you use clear glass for a bathroom window, that is on the walkway directly outside the bathroom, see pics. Lots of potential but old and definitely not 4 stars. The location is beach front but no good sea to swim in. Tha rooms are huge and cleaned daily but it are old and not pampering. The breakfast is simple and not very tasty. The pool is big and has a lot of sun beds but again a bit old and the atmosphere is dull and not resort level. The staff is very nice and smiling.

Lovely place. Just far enough from the busy road to be very quiet and peaceful, but still very close to the centre of Lamai just a few minutes away. The resort looks very nice and clean, pool was also maintained very well. Rooms are big enough with everything you need. Hosts are really friendly as well. We had a very pleasant stay.

This place is nice enough, with a great pool next to the sea, but location is poor as there isn't much else around, you really need a scooter, staff need customer service training, not like most Thai people.
