PR Patong Residence in Patong

This hotel was the baddest ever. I booked much bigger room and when I come to the hotel they said no you booked this room and I showed the picture and want to change my room and they said you can cancel it because our bigger room is fully booked. Then I cancelled front desk with in an hour but they didn’t give me refund. I come twice and ask can I take my refund because I didn’t stay this hotel. And they say ask trip. They didn’t call me or e-mail me. then I didn’t take my refund. My expierence was foreigners good at runs a business in Thailand, locals are not. sorry but it’s true. think twice before you book.

The room is old and was very dirty with a bad smell. I wanted to cry on my first night there. I had to put towels on the bed sheet to sleep. However after 2nd day i gave tips for a proper cleaning which made things better. Pillow, mattress, bad AC
Bad toilet smell.

I don’t know why this place has such a high rating on google and on booking.com. When we arrived the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The first room that we were in was awful and smelled like pee and had mold in the bathroom. We went in the reception and they changed the room. The second room was cleaner but also had a funny smell and the bathroom had mold again. There is a reason that there are no photos of the bathroom.
There were signs everywhere telling us that the hotel isn’t responsible for any theft, everywhere on the door and everything, and that made us feel unsafe.
The location is good, close to the main road but in a dark alleyway, it wasn’t that bad but I wouldn’t choose to stay there as a female if I was alone.
We left and went to another hotel and only came back the last day of our booking because we had a late flight.
