The children saw her and many of the others in the team as a friend and were upset to leave! All the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and hard working. The bar staff Aydin and Duge were always helpful

Went with a friend and our 2 children. The children loved the slides, beach, ice cream, Turkish bath but most importantly the animation team! They went out of their way to make our holiday fun

It' s one of the best sea holiday place in Side Antalya. Beach of the hotel is perfect. People working in hotel are very good. Foods are 😋 delicious. Clean. I advice you to stay.

They had a range of activites to get us all involved. Special mention to Morgan, she really went the extra mile to make sure we all had a brilliant holiday

Her name is Yasmine, she works to the corner of reception, she is classed as Customer Relations - she has short shaved blonde hair, an older lady & is extremely rude!!! 3 people in our group had to speak to her on different occasions & she was rude to all 3 of us! It did lead to us making a complaint about her

Everything is cleaned up and the Personal is very helpful and friendly. The surrounding to the hotel is great. You can walk to the old side village in about 10 minutes with all its beauty and history

If you want trainers I’d recommend going to the second market in the row & the shop in the middle (next to a huge drinks fridge) is where you will get the best deals. Markets don’t open until 10am but we were there at 9

Lunch at the beach bar is the best with a stunning setting. It’s the hotels own private beach with 100s of sun beds which are free. There is about 45-50 steps from the beach bar down to the beach

If you want to save loungers you can not leave towels on them before 7am or security takes them away. I’d highly recommend this hotel. It’s absolutely stunning!!!!!!

The staff are brilliant, cleaners are so friendly even those not on your floor/block & have never seen you before. Rooms cleaned daily unless you put sign on door

Some of the highliths were the fitness classes, the Spa area and (a personal favorite) the San Sebastian Cheesecake. Just one thing to keep in mind, the average age of the guests is higher than I expected

The sea is slightly wavy but very clean. The town of Side is only a 10-minute drive away. I highly recommend visiting the sights there, especially in the evening when the atmosphere is particularly charming

For the 5 days that we stayed all inclusive Everything was on point the actual resort itself was amazing and massive And very family friendly And we was welcomed by the hotel reps that work there daily

I want to say a massive thank you to Fahmi Osman who worked at the resort he was so helpful and he guided us to get involve with the activities that was going on daily

They cleaned the rooms each day, they also refilled the minibar as well and created some animal formats from towels

The staff was really helpful, particularly a woman called Sevilay, she helped a lot in the restaurant area, even though we didn't know the language perfectly

One waiter ignored my order for a cocktail, only to bring it half an hour later with a smile, after I had already gone to the bar myself. The food was tasty but extremely repetitive

Great atmosphere, not a big entertainment team but enough to keep us occupied for the week, all staff were polite and reasonable, the location is very ideal within a walk to the beach aswell as local markets and many restaurants

First of all, ill start with the negative. Although my stay overall was lovely, The main issue my family had was the rooms. Our shower and our balcony door was broken

After researching and driving around and looking at various accommodations, we chose Venus Hotel and cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. We liked it so much we added an additional night

The pool was very clean and very refreshing to get into. There is a restaurant on site for lunch and dinner also along with beverages, including alcohol if that is what you choose

We had a non-smoking room with Air Conditioning and a free delicious breakfast and everything was perfect and wonderful and clean and comfortable. plenty of parking for our car

The rooms and pools are just outstanding! If I have to point a finger at something negative (not so negative) the old bus that drives to the beach doesn’t represent the hotel standard and the pump at the corner bar door could use a fix as it had an annoying sound

Guests really should show a bit more respect after a certain hour and be quieter! The rooms were also not cleaned very well. Dirt was left lying on the floor and mopping did not happen during our stay

We stayed for a week with friends at this hotel, which is very well located. Check-in went very smoothly thanks to a very friendly receptionist, who give an explanation of how everything worked

We had a family room with 2 separate areas, the room itself was spacious. However, the rooms are very noisy and you can hear everything from the neighbors or when someone walks in the hallway

The restaurant was too small for the number of guests (and it's not even high season), so it sometimes took a long time to find a seat

Dilan on Guest Relations was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a lovely holiday We found the majority of staff very welcoming and they provided a very good level of customer service

There was a small minority of staff who seemed to prefer the German Guests and could be quite rude at times. Overall this is a lovely hotel with very good service, the cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted

I stayed at this hotel with my two sisters for 17 days in September 2025. Our special requests prior to arrival were all met to our satisfaction so cannot fault attention to detail

Had the most lovely experience at Side star beach. location and food were more than I expected for the price. I was a solo traveller and felt so safe and comfortable

The sea is clean and the sand is the most pleasant entry into the sea (even from neighboring hotels many swam with us) we found sunbeds without problems both on the beach and by the pool. We liked everything! Thank you

We had a wonderful vacation here. Overall, the hotel is good, but with a few minor drawbacks here and there. The Defne Defnem is a rather low-end 5-star hotel

There is one (!!) type of sliced cheese that is cut into 6 different varieties and served on 6 different plates to give the impression of a large selection (see pictures). This cheese is terribly tasteless

We had an amazing holiday here. The Hotel is beautiful, extra clean, plenty of food choices even for the picky eaters. Also the beach bar was super nice, the team is also very cute

There was never any more choice. If you like cheese, this is not the place for you. The sausage is also not worthy of a 5-star hotel. The breakfast is rather disappointing for a German palate

The adjacent street is still busy and quite noisy at night, which can be a problem if you are a light sleeper and your room is on the wrong side

This way, you get beautiful photos and a private excursion in one! The prices are very flexible and affordable. A shuttle bus conveniently takes you to the beach, so you don’t have to worry about transportation

A warm place with friendly people with good food and many sweets where you will feel pampered. Where you will be able to take a Turkish bath and a massage in which you will be reborn

Unfortunately a lot of people do put towels on early and take the same beds each day but I feel you may miss out on the whole of the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff worked very hard in keeping it clean

We don’t get much sun in the uk so one visit was enough for me. We also took advantage of the photo shoot and have great photos for memories. All the service is table service and sun bed service

The reviews for this hotel are excellent and I think it is great value for money We used the spa which we enjoyed but felt there was a little hard sell to purchase further treatments

The beach access to the sundeck on the water is a NO-GO. sandbags have been put up by the stairs. Other hotels have nice wooden staircases. I hope things will be improved as I would like to go there again

The rooms are fine, although one or two things need to be replaced/replaced. The cleaning of the rooms varies; this depends on the cleaning staff and the time they have available for cleaning

The reception could be more accommodating, friendlier and smile more please. WiFi is only in the lobby area, you have to pay for rooms and the pool area, no WiFi on the beach

The drinks selection has been reduced, no cocoa, only 2 cocktails and a few types of alcohol. (The boss must have thought that up). Evening entertainment :-(, not nice

The wellness area is under NEW MANAGEMENT and is not recommended, the lady prefers to sit on her cell phone and play around without noticing that customers are coming

Delicious food all day long, drinks from 10-24 on the pool and in the hotel. Sunbeds in the pool are available all day long. There are 3 fantastic water slides. The animation team was excellent

Very polite staff,even they don't speak perfect English,they will do the best to explain everything. They deserve 5star definitely,because we saw the other hotels in Turkey. Special care they show to rhe kids

On the beach sunbeds are also free and are available all the time. There is also a bar with drinks, snacks etc. It was fantastic time in this hotel. We were with 4 yo kid and he was very happy

It’s impossible to limit yourself, you want to try everything, you go out like a penguin, you barely move your legs)))) During dinner, a large selection of Turkish sweets, it’s just impossible to resist, just a feast of the stomach))) During your stay, you can visit an a la carte restaurant to choose from Italian or Mexican

From alcohol they drank only red wine. Sometimes it was cool, sometimes it was somehow "sour", but you can drink it, I can't say about other drinks - I haven't tried it. The service is very friendly, helpful and humorous

I really liked the choice of dishes, everything was fresh and everything was delicious. The choice of sweets during lunch is not the same as in the hotel restaurant, but I always found something to please myself

We misunderstood something and chose Mexican. well, it was amazingly delicious! It is even difficult to imagine what dishes are served in Italian. In short - I recommend! We had lunch at the beach bar

We stayed at the Sentido Kamelya Fulya Hotel and overall had a great experience. We were given a room on the top floor, right in the center, with a full sea view (extra charge, but totally worth it!)

Next time will book well in advance! This was our first time in Turkey ( having been to Spain, Portugal, Italy, Dubai) so we weren't sure what to expect but it did surpass expectations and we flew from Stansted which was less congested than Heathrow/Gatwick

I can only think bad reviews are down to so many different nationalitys ,there was only us and one other English couple there so if u looking to mix with other English couples its probably not for u but overall the hotel is fine , rooms kept clean , pool area spotless , food is ur typical Turkish fare so all depends on what u like to eat can always get nice chicken/tuna salads ,chips etc fresh bread...

Beach area i didn't think much of an could do with a revamp but other than that I couldn't complain. Location is great there is shops an restaurants in any direction u chose to walk

First of all you won't get to speak English in this hotel. Even reception don't know English and they talk to you in German. also any animations that we been to just in German too

after 3rd day we decided to change the room as we could not sleep all night. Also the air con in that room didn't worked too. The transport to the beach is good also food and beer served at all inclusive at the beach

Just about a 3* hotel at best. Rooms & Hotel is / are clean and tidy. Rooms were large, clean and the shower warm & powerful. I also found the staff helpful on most occasions and they all can understand English at least

The stay sas amazing! Hotel staff was friendly, but for me, they spoke little english. They are better in german, which unfortunetaly i do not speak.

The staff is very kind and helpful, the food is delicious and plentiful, there is good entertainment for children. Unfortunately, the room we've got as a family was too small and did not meet our expectations

Stayed there a few months ago and some staff were great while others were ok with their service. The food was good and plentiful but very much the same catering for more European needs

As minor downsides, we found the entertainment programs to be quite loud (though most were very interesting), and we missed having designated non-smoking seating (tables) around the pool

The manager at the reception, Hasan, will help u with everything and make sure you have the best holiday! All the staff was very very friendly and nice! The animation team , Hasan and Eda is an awesome touch to the hotel’s program so u can spent an amazing evening at the hotel

My partner enjoyed the soup every day. I loved the purple coloured bread (beetroot perhaps?) The waiters & waitresses keep the restaurant immaculate. Some guests don't appear to have table manners making their job harder

From the very beginning of entering the hotel, full professionalism - the luggage was collected by the hotel help and after completing the formalities at the reception - which took a flash of time, I was led to my room, which was clean, tidy and pleasant

10 min walk to beach with all inclusive bar/ eatery or shuttle bus every 15 mins or so. 5 mins to small selection of shops, cash point, pharmacy & covered market. 20 mins other direction to larger area of shops

Pool table on -2 floor but it slants! Table tennis table outside too. Large kids play area, covered baby pool & 3 slides. Not sure why they open them at 3pm & not all day? All in all , a nice break for us

The restaurant manager Ahmet along with his team ran a very well oiled machine in that the food was always replenished with lots of lovely choices from morning breakfast through to evening meal

and its earn its 5 stars yes its not new and yes its not right on the beach. the food and the team is outstanding. and better than most even more expensive competitors

The hotel itself was very clean and well situated for the beach and other tourist attractions!! It is approx 1 hour transfer from the airport

During our stay we mainly stayed around the pool, we did use the hotel bus to the beach which is great but, we enjoyed the entertainment during the day and found Mona and her team were busy and tried to involve all guests in the different activities which were great

My young son especially enjoyed the large pool!! The guest relations manager Zeynel (forget his surname) for myself and family along with other families we met found him to be helpful with anything we needed, he always seemed to be about making sure all guest were happy, ok and enjoying themselves, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him, my young son especially took to him and was asking each...

I certainly would recommend this hotel and would 💯 return, our only negative is that unfortunately, we found the reception manager Ali and his team didn’t smile and were not very helpful, even to order a taxi seemed too much trouble !! All in all great hotel, with everything you needed, definitely value for money

The food both in the hotel and on the beach is good, you can always find something for every taste. The hotel has a big selection at every meal. The drinks (local alcohol) are okay for a 4 star hotel

The sandy beach is about a 5 minute walk or with the shuttle and is beautiful. The sea is clean and clear and there are enough free loungers for everyone

Some of the rooms also need to be renovated; you can see the age of the building in places like door frames, cupboards, shower cubicles and exhaust fans

However, the rooms facing the street are not recommended; the windows are very thin and you can constantly hear the street next to the hotel

There is one in the adjacent hotel (Villa Side Residence), but as a holidaymaker at the Villa Side Hotel you are not allowed to visit it just like that - so you cannot use the mini club

When we asked, the reception could not (or would not) help us. Since this was a main criterion for us in choosing this hotel, it has been deducted from our rating
