We were told that the swimming pool and gym was under maintenance upon arrival 🤷🏻‍♂️ Rooms were good, the breakfast buffet was also great

Located in the bustling Old Town, it's actually within walking distance to many attractions. The downside is that it's a bit old. The room's decor shows its past glory, but the regular price is very friendly.

The location is right beside a subway with lots of small of restaurants but it’s a little bit far from downtown, especially considering how busy the subway can be

The hotel room was quite spacious, and the price was reasonable. It's close to the subway station and right next to a mall with lots of dining options

Moaz, Stephen and Sudhan were welcoming and helpful, they went beyond the usual front desk hospitality. Hotel is situated walking distance (15 minutes) to the Marina Mall

We are right next to the kids friendly lagoon pool (we just found out there are two lagoon pools) and the daycare facility which our baby enjoys. There is also a splash pad for kids

The restaurants are diverse and the settings are beautiful. Breakfast is excellent and delicious. It’s a short drive to the old center if you want a change of scenery and supermarkets are close by

Our room was so much better that expected with a little terrace bordering the grass and palmtrees where our little one can play outside and a beautiful view over the harbor

The beds are comfortable with good linnen, the bathroom is nice and luxurious (we don’t love some black furniture but that’s personal taste) and roomservice is quick

During Chinese New Year, Chinese elements were thoughtfully incorporated throughout the hotel, and I even received a complimentary cake for my birthday, which was a lovely surprise! The rooftop pool is nice, and the gym is large, featuring a sauna and steam room

Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, with a strong traditional Arabian charm, right within the attraction itself. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and there's a shuttle and staff to take you to your room

Plus, staying here makes it super convenient to explore the old street market and snap some great pictures! Every morning, we'd go for breakfast at 8 AM, and the streets would be completely empty, so we could just take photos freely without needing to edit them! It stays pretty uncrowded until about 9:30 AM

It was also very cold in the room and the AC machine only offers cold option no heated services at all, when I called reception they offered an extra blanket but it was still cold and the quality and style of the room was old could be doing with upgrading this as it was all old wood oak look

Stayed here 16 till 22nd January as many of the other reviews stated the hotel is a little outdated but it is very close to Dubai mall, so is very convenient for those who want to shop

I really enjoyed my stay - very clean studio with excellent WiFi, washing machine, king bed and TV system. Nice touches like detergent and washing up liquid provided, rather than having to purchase them
