A very pleasant little hotel. Very clean and staff friendly. One of the better properties situated behind Victoria Train Station.

Very few hotels in London could maintain basic functions for business traveller looking affordable stay. My points good shower (water pressure and hot water), air con, clean bath and room, bedsheet and towel changing cycle (every day in my stay). After so many budget hotel failures this was on own level

I stayed at Sidney Hotel Victoria during a very unexpected and urgent two-day trip to London. Because everything happened last minute, I had very little time to choose where to stay. This hotel simply seemed like the most practical option. I had seen a few mixed reviews beforehand, so I arrived with fairly normal expectations. What I experienced instead was a stay that genuinely exceeded them.

I arrived at the hotel at around 4:00 AM after a long and exhausting journey. Despite the extremely late hour, I was welcomed by two incredibly kind and professional staff members at reception who helped me check in quickly and smoothly. I had forgotten to bring a UK adapter, which could have easily been a problem, but they kindly lent me one without hesitation. That small gesture already made a huge difference after such a long night.

When I entered the room I was honestly surprised. The room was spacious, very comfortable, and absolutely spotless. Everything was perfectly prepared and very well maintained. It had all the essentials a traveler needs, including a kettle with instant coffee and tea, toiletries, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. After reading some reviews beforehand, I was not expecting the room to be this pleasant, so it was a wonderful surprise.

The breakfast was a simple English breakfast, but it was fresh, satisfying, and more than enough to start the morning feeling full and ready for the day. It was exactly what you need before heading out to explore the city.

Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. The staff were very helpful and kindly stored my luggage for a few hours before I had to leave for my flight, which made my last day in London much easier and stress free.

I would especially like to thank Manali for her warm smile and welcoming personality. She truly made the stay even more memorable. She was incredibly kind, friendly, and we shared a bit of small talk that made the experience feel very personal and genuine. Staff members like her are truly what make a hotel stand out.

My overall experience at Sidney Hotel Victoria was excellent. The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and helpful.

I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

I stayed in the lower deck. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. I stayed for a night and didn’t have breakfast though it was free. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed having a hot shower.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Sidney Hotel! The hotel was incredibly affordable, which led to some scepticism about its quality. However, at all points of the stay, the service from the staff was incredible. At check-in, they kindly let me use the bathroom to freshen up and get changed, and they helped me with moving my luggage to the luggage room while I waited for my room to be ready. Once the room was ready and I could get the keycard for it, they kindly gave me free breakfast for the rest of my stay, which was wonderful! The room itself was small, which I knew when I booked it, but it was also very clean and did not show signs of aging at all. The location of the hotel wasn't directly in the centre of London; however, the area of Pimlico (where the hotel is located) has a couple of tube stations and also a few nice cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and markets. Overall, I'd highly recommend Sidney Hotel to anyone travelling to London, and I would happily stay there again in the future :)!

The location is great—safe, pleasant, and close to many tourist attractions. The people here are very kind; even though I hadn’t paid for breakfast, they generously offered it to me for free. The room was clean, but unfortunately, it was very small. The biggest issue was the noise: whenever someone walked down the hallway, it felt like they were right next to my bed, which startled me and woke me up. Because of the noise and room size, I can’t recommend this place, despite the nice staff and convenient location.
