The Goring, London1 / 30
8.3
London, Beeston Place (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel itself is very special and the staff are friendly and attentive in an unassuming way.
Amazing hotel for afternoon tea. Had an old friend from the USA come to visit and we started at Parliament Square, walked through St James Park to Buckingham Palace and then to the Goring Hotel for afternoon tea. It was her first time in London and was an absolute treat. The sandwiches were all very tasty, balanced, and unique. The scones and cakes were lovely. A great selection of tea, and tea service...
It was really nice, right when we walked in the restaurant the Hostess Sofia was so sweet and she definitely deserves a raise. Overall the service and food were wonderful would definitely recommend and meet Sofia if you want top service.
The service was exceptional, the hotel was beautiful, and we've found our new favourite hotel in London.
Everything was as good as anticipated. Wonderful staff and great ambience. A special word of praise for Bella on Reception.
What can I say...we had our wedding at the Goring 3 weeks ago. Absolutely outstanding in every way. Staff amazing, rooms fantastic, service incredible, decor perfect, food delicious. Many of their team have shown passion and care for what they do. What an incredible place. Trying to find an excuse to have another big event there again. Thank you - Love James & Jenay

Fabulous hotel with friendly helpful staff. Stunning interior with lovely bar.
We stayed here after our wedding over the road at Camden Town Hall. Staff were wonderful, they made up our room with a decorations and a gift, and the breakfast was delicious. Thoroughly recommend.
Beautiful restaurant reception and great access for St pancreas station. Annoyed at the charge for internet usage. The login leads you to a paid access. Designed to paying a higher rate for access. Very poor
Such a beautiful hotel and really attentive staff. Hopefully visit again soon. Really well connected for public transport and great safety on the entrance at night time.
Best hotel I have ever stayed in. All the staff were so friendly and attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary and they made it extra special
Beautiful old building and very helpful and friendly staff.

The room was a bit small, but the location was great and the service was excellent.
Mandarin service as usual is great even though Hyde park location is a bit worn out, staff very helpful
Amazing! love it so much with its location, cleanless, service and tasty breakfast!
Very satisfied with everything.
There is no charger socket on the bedside table, so it is inconvenient to charge your phone. The mini bar menu is very hidden... The location is very good and the service in the lobby is very enthusiastic.
Good services and the food are good.

You can expect good location and clean modern room. 3 issues noted depending if you can lice with them: 1) room was dark, no view and cabinet light not working 2) request not to stay on second floor, staff said there’s special plumbing on second floor due to age of the building. It makes quirking noise which made the room spooky 3) drinking water bottles were quite small and be prepared to make special...
Location is perfect and accessible to all places. good staff service
The pillows are too soft. Soho is very crowded.
The hotel room is quite good. Although the toilet is leaking, it was promptly repaired and the service attitude of changing rooms is particularly good.
Hands down the best hotel we've stayed so far this year. Location was perfect and accessible to all places, the bars were beautiful, rooms were clean, but most importantly the staff was exceptional. From the day we checked in until leaving a week later they have taken great, great care of us. Well done team, we'd love to come back soon
Great atmosphere, friendly staff & fabulous food!

Absolutely beautiful. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Will be coming back!
Service: The service was exceptionally good.
The hotel was a good boutique style hotel. Rooms were a decent size and had all the main amenities needed.
My stay at Nobu has been wonderful. The location is great. And despite having construction across the street, the noise has been minimal. Some rooms could use some more lighting, especially on the lower floors, but the rooms are modern and chic. But the best part of the experience has been the staff. First, Errol, the concierge, has been lovely. He is extremely helpful and has a kind manner about him...
The services I use: - Breakfast, it was nice and tasty, but service very slow, no welcoming or explanation how the breakfast works. - Spa, I upgrade my treatment, the therapist was very good, receptionist, not at all. - Room service it was very nice, tasty, attentive service. Just a couple of things, the room I got had not phone signal at all (I don't know about the rest of the rooms), and the "early...
Whilst aesthetically this hotel is very picturesque and it’s clean and comfortable, and in a great location, there’s a fundamental issue with the staff to customer and inter departmental communication, which has the customer feeling the need to step in to resolve issues and chase for clarity. It feels like an issue of style over substance. The spa receptionist that took our booking seemed untrained...

Excellent data only criticism double bed is to small and there space to upgrade the bed to kind size
The hotel's location is great, near Buckingham Palace and not far from Victoria. It's a bit small but very charming, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It has a stylish vibe. However, some of the facilities are a bit old. The shower definitely needs an upgrade – after a shower, the bathroom floor is flooded, and the water temperature is inconsistent, constantly fluctuating between hot and cold...
I prepaid for two nights through Trip. At checkout an unauthorised payment of £498.92 was taken. I challenged this and was assured a refund was coming but it would take two working days. In the early hours of the following day a further two unauthorised payments of £498.02 were taken. In total, just under £1500 was taken from my account without my permission. I contacted Rubens Hotel. They accepted...
Impeccable service. Staff goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is the best it can be. Location is amazing. Close to everything.
Absolutely everything. But the staff was just amazing. Helpful, all smiles, cheerful, welcoming!!!! And the staff thy cleaned our room. One lady said she was Russian and not much English but she smiled and the room was always done up well.
The room wasn't large, but it was very luxurious and cleaned daily. Although there was a charge, it was worth it. It's right next to Buckingham Palace. The welcome snacks were especially delicious, and the staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting us every day. We ended up giving them coins as a tip. There are breakfast shops on both sides of the exit, each with a different style. Rose, the lady across...

We’re very satisfied with the king suite room we stayed overnight & very nice breakfast too. The staff were polite & friendly.
Service was good. The hotel view is very nice and the food is also very good. Location was fantastic.
The setting is beautiful, and the location is very peaceful. The room is spacious, and it's conveniently located right where the Uber Boat drops you off. I'll definitely be back.
Very satisfied. The hotel offers great value for money and good service. The room was spacious enough, and the breakfast was delicious. While it's a little bit far from the city center, this was acceptable overall since taxis are very convenient. Definitely recommended for its excellent value.
A nice hotel with spa and swimming pool, but the location is not so convenient and not much restruant nearby

I had a wonderful stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel during my recent visit to London. The hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, and very well maintained. Nice hotel, staff are friendly and helpful. Very central location inLondon, easy access to underground station and British museum. But the alley next to the hotel can be kind of sketchy during the night time. I understand that is nothing the hotel can do, it is more like a London public safety thing. but I do want to remind people who want to stay at this hotel to be careful especially at the night...
We’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed the stay both times. The common areas—the lounge, the Corral Room, and the speakeasy—are all great. The service is very friendly and fantastic. We were in London just for a few days to catch a couple of shows and enjoy a little break away. Booked the Bloomsbury as it looked nice. Amazing stay with great service, room was large and comfy, bathroom had heated drying rack and mirror. Free ginger and honey tea, and cookies in the lobby, would love to come back for another stay. Walking distance to lots of theatres and shopping area.
pretty good spot to be in london especially this area londons still new to me
Hotel was clean. Small things are big things - such as having refreshing ginger drink and a hand towel at the elevator waiting area.
The lowest category room is VERY SMALL. And the “city view” is not a city view but instead it is an inner “courtyard” view which basically means facing a wall. The rooms facing the park are lovely, but the other rooms are really awful
Great location, 15 - 20 min walk to shopping areas. Close by are restaurants of which a couple are open from 6am, so helpful when one is jet lagged and want to grab a bite at the wee hours in the morning. The Kensington Hotel is a lovely place to stay. The room is on the smaller side, but it’s comfortable and well kept, and the location is excellent. The two of us came for afternoon tea at The Kensington on 12 December for a 3pm booking. Amazing stay at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond and upgraded our room which was fab
Spacious room with river view. Very friendly and kind staff members- the concierge staff made us feel so welcome and helped make our stay a memorable one.
A really pleasant stay and really good service. Ighodalo on the front desk was particularly helpful and kind and made my stay. Spa facilities were really good and food was decent.
Room was good condition, clean and spacious. All the staff were nice and helpful. Hotel however is overpriced and absolutely not worth £300 a night, minibar prices are okay for soft drinks. Spirits very expensive. Restaurant lacked choice and was £20 for a small bit of stone bass.
Room was spotless, The use of the Virgin gym facilities was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and brough a kettle to the room when asked. It was very quiet on Friday but sadly it was noisy and difficult to sleep on Saturday night due to the cars racing around outside the hotel in the underground area of canary wharf. Better to be on the River side that the city side of the hotel during the weekend

This hotel made it impossible for me to choose any other hotel.I really love this one
My second stay was again perfect. The breakfast was excellent in variety and quality, the waiters were attentive, and the reception was very welcoming. 10/10
Opposite Trafalgar Square, the location is very good, the hotel is very clean and tidy, the decoration is also good, there are free drinks and water in the room. The service staff is very good.
Good location, just opposite the art museum, about 10-15 minutes walk to Chinatown. Except for the small room, everything else is good
Apart from the good location, there is nothing special about it. It is very unremarkable. The facilities in the room. No one replenished the small soap. No one replenished the toothbrush. No one replenished the bath salt. The quilt was asked for an extra quilt on the first day, but it was taken away on the second day. Compared with this price, the cost performance is very low
This hotel has a great location. It is located in Tradaga Square in the heart of London. However, apart from the location itself, the other software is very lackluster. Clean room, excellent bathroom in my room that was upgraded. Smaller rooms had less space in the bathroom but ok for brief stays.
This is a solid 4-star hotel, and if it were positioned as such, the experience would be perfectly justified. However, it is definitely not a luxury 5-star boutique hotel.
