This a very nice hotel in an awesome location with a secluded pool outside and access to the beach right behind it. Its decor is straight vintage and has that art deco Miami feel to it

The restaurant at the property is amazing. Everything about the hotel is great. The staff is super friendly, the service amazing. It’s one of the oldest properties at the beach. And they have maintained it super well

We made a reservation. To this place for a few friends as a couples night out. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi late night and everything is very close. Looking forward to another date night at this place.

I've never stayed here because I live close enough to Miami that I usually just make a day trip of it. But I love to stop here for a classic mojito and sit at the bar outside by the pool

The pool is the USP it’s the most photographed pool in the US. The rooms as spacious and the service is on point. Their pool parties are also too good

It's shady and pretty, and makes lovely place to take a break after walking for a while in South Beach

I can say something about it, first of all; 1) The location is excellent. The beach is right outside the hotel. You can look at the sea and the beach under the sun

The hotel is in a very good location, on a busy street, convenient for eating, and a few minutes' walk to the seaside. The room number is clean, but the sound insulation is slightly poor

The hotel opened in 2014 is right next to the beach. It is said that the open-air restaurant downstairs is still very famous. I would like to praise Ctrip's service

Amazing location, great service and all the essentials are there. I would recommend staying if you’re looking for a convenience and to be close to the beach strip.

Although the sound insulation is not very good, it was quiet until 11:00 pm after a tiring day. 4) When you go to the beach, you can borrow beach chairs and umbrellas for free from the hotel

You can go to the sea and bask in the sun repeatedly until the sun sets. After dinner, the cool breeze blows. You can walk along the coastal road and look at the sea under the stars

We were there during Christmas and it was a great experience from start to finish. The check in was smooth and they were accommodating of an early check-in. The hotel location is perfect for South Beach

Up to date room. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of food options close by. Beach chairs and umbrella provided by the hotel was a great bonus. Close to the beach.

A lovely art deco hotel in a great location for those in Miami Beach for the winter art fairs. Friendly staff that welcomes you back by name each evening.

The only con was the mandatory $35 per night fee to use beach towels and other benefits that we didn't use

No pool, but the beach is right there. would definitely stay again!

We did not use beach chairs either of those days, but still we're charged for them. Otherwise, it was a clean & pleasant place with interesting history just 2 blocks off the beach

The location is convenient, restaurants and bars are within walking distance, you can get to the center by taxi for 10 dollars. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. My room overlooked the main road, it was noisy at times

The Meridian Hotel is very well located, impeccably clean, with lots of vegetation. It has a nice chill-out room and a decorative swimming pool. That said, it is a little overpriced

Most of the 5 stars I gave belong to staffs, they impressed you since you not even there, they email you and asked to help you get the parking ready so no headache since day 1. Stress less vacation truly.

The hotel has a delicious breakfast and coffee for an additional fee (about 15 dollars). There is a lot of greenery on the hotel grounds and around the hotel

It was a beautiful hotel in a good location and the stay itself was satisfactory. I think the staff was very polite as well.

Love this hotel Loved staying at the Pelican! It was right in the heart of the South Beach action and so stylish and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed

Very good quality, clean, nicely decorated. Need to come again and again and again to explore all the different rooms decorations.

Breakfast was not included in the price of stay

Issues are that: 1) bed wasn’t very comfortable: 2) no gym; and 3) incredibly noisy in the morning as there was walking, moving furniture…etc in that apartment right above us. Maybe the staff was cleaning that room

Sheets are scratchy and towels were as well. Elevator dings and you can hear it at the end of the hallway and in your room. Hallways are loud and nothing to absorb sound so you hear everything in your room

I never usually leave a review but I couldn't let this slide. In any event, you cant beat the location and the team on the beach were fantastic

I felt completely safe the entire time — never once uncomfortable in the hotel or on the property. The beach was clean, well maintained, and the beach staff was excellent

At $300+ per night, I would strongly recommend upsizing if you’re traveling with more than one person. Housekeeping signage was a bit confusing at first — they use a hanging system rather than traditional door signs

Honestly, I can’t say enough about the staff overall — they were consistently amazing and really elevated the experience. A few minor things to note: The rooms are very, very small. For one person, it felt tight

For two people, you’d likely be tripping over each other. With a child, it would be impractical. There is ample closet space, but the actual living/sleeping area is extremely limited

The bedroom decor could use a little updating but overall great hotel for a quick not frills work trip. Pool is super cute, great location to beach and restaurants, easy walking to anywhere you want to go

Stayed for 2 nights, overall great experience. The location is very convenient, and walkable to the beach. There's a nice cafe in the lobby, and the space is quiet and comfortable

Just a beautiful Hotel overall, love the pool area. The only negative I'd say is that the rooms are very echo-y. You can hear when people above are walking so ask for a room on the 3rd floor! Still deserves 5 stars!!

The staff was amazing! Sebastian and Florencia were exceptional! The coffee shop is very good too! Great option, and so many perks! The bikes, and the the beach chairs were complementary too! — 100% will come back

The best part is the section of the beach where the chairs are located isn't too crowded! It's perfect. Back to hotel, it is about 3 main roads away from Ocean drive. Which means it's not too loud

More power outlets in the room would have been nice tho. Parking garage next door is horrible. But Miami Beach public parking for $20 / 24h is just one block away

The rooms were clean and nice but the staff, particularly Godfrey, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to make our stay amazing!!

Amazing location! Just a block from the beach and tons of restaurants and shopping. A little worn, but overall very comfortable. Shower water pressure was wonderful! The staff are friendly and professional

5) Coffee and pastry which was served as complimentary for guests in the morning had to be taken in a corner and cannot take in the main patio seating area even when it's completely empty

5) A bit of history attached to it with the architecture introduced from 1938(pic attached) 6) Location is very near to the art deco south beach so very convinient

Essex House has a fantastic location but employees like Godfrey make the stay that much better

Great little hotel with lovely pool area,quieter than many nearby. Bathroom terrible however,needs updating. Beds comfortable and super views from the balcony, overlooking the beach which is a 2 minute walk

Easy to walk to Art Deco area/South beach & to Mid beach or Miami beach,along the seafront boardwalk

Rooms and pool were perfectly clean with the exception of the bathroom: the paint was coming out of the roof, there was mold all over it, and the tub looked like it had not been properly cleaned for a while

There’s a microwave in the lobby. Not enough umbrellas in the pool area

Perfect location, but they have a lot of room for improvements. The lobby smelled dusty and muggy, though they know about it and apparently they’ve been trying to fix it

Be prepared to do some exercise since all doors in this hotel weight 100kg. I don’t know why, but it’s super heavy to get any door opened, you really need to pull hard

What is better than having amazing seafood at south beach? After Covid, so many restaurants food and service quality deteriorated so quickly, it’s almost a gamble to do even expensive restaurants

The fresh scallops and shrimp inside was the perfect addition. We are determined to order more food from them. The branzino (Brazilian sea bass) was more than amazing. Then they also had specials - crab stuffed lobster

The grouper might have been the best I ever tasted, and the award-winning key lime pie is not to be missed! Sit outside at the dinner hour for the best people watching and soak up the South Beach vibe

I cannot adequately describe how great our experience was at A Fish Called Avalon. From the moment you walk up, to being seated, to ordering, you are wrapped in excellent and professional care

They change their menu from time to time, what new surprises could we have next time? 🌹🌹🌹 P. The weather, couldn’t be better. The outdoor seating, is as nice as indoor upscale seating

This is our second time here and it's perfect, walk to tons of food, daily exercise out front door on Atlantic Way, full kitchens and laundry, view from balcony, excellent pools and hot tub, and included beach service

My partner and I love this place we’ve been here 3x now and recently took our teen who enjoyed it as well. The staff isn’t on the property so you have to call and leave a voicemail for help

The apartment style rooms were very large and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and Miami Beach. Very neat and clean. Could use a few small upgrades but overall it was a fabulous stay.

Beautiful spacious Clean very nice rooms however there are no amenities in the suite. the only thing nice are the rooms but there’s no game room fitness center eating area or anything else besides a beach and a pool

Booked a suite, the balcony and master bedroom face the sea, you can watch the sunrise while lying on the bed; the room has a kitchen, kitchenware and tableware are all available, refrigerator, washing machine and ironing machine are all available; downstairs is the beach, lying lazily on the bench, reading a book and listening to music in the sea breeze, it is very comfortable

Beach towels had to be brought to the beach from the room they weren’t offered at the pool. Only one towel per person each stay. For the price it was good that it had kitchen

The pick of the litter, I wouldn’t stay at another property ever, the Hilton Bentley is the most hospitable hotel on south beach, Ms Debbie, Orlando and the whole entire staff makes you feel at home, the rooms are immaculate and the food is delicious

Located in the great South of 5th area of the beach, this place is great. I have reviewed this hotel before, and it might even be better. I will be going back, Clean rooms, great staff and it's right on the beach

You can also walk to South Point in minutes. The club has a lifeguard, so you can feel safe in the water. The Bentley Beach Clubs offer great service and a great place to spend your leisure time

The Bentley Beach Club offers first-class luxury and relaxation on South Beach. When you stay at the Hilton Bentley, you are provided with two chairs and an umbrella for each night of your stay

The chairs are very comfortable, matte. This is the best place to enjoy the beach in Miami Beach because you can see South Point and watch all the cruise ships and boats go through the bay

Yesterday, the hotel facilities were quite old, probably because it had been open for a long time. There was also a musty smell in the room, probably because it was close to the beach

Beach and chairs with umbrellas, attendants on the beach and at the pools we’re absolutely amazing! Rooms could use some maintenance

The hotel exceeded my expectations. They were very accommodating, the place was very clean, updated and luxurious. The community was perfect for walking, eating and biking/walking. Best experience, will go back.

The food is incredible, the hotel is very clean, and everything is extremely well maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into every detail. I 1000% recommend staying at this hotel

An amazing experience from start to finish

They did complementary upgrade our room which was wonderful we have been there twice a year for 10 years and we will continue to come back. Easy to walk to restaurants and grocery stores

The Kent Hotel offers a convenient location in the heart of South Beach, making it an ideal spot for exploring the area. The staff was courteous and welcoming throughout my stay

Our stay at The Kent Hotel was honestly perfect. From the front desk staff, to the cleaning staff, they were all very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of

It is only 3 floors, but they have an elevator for those that need it. They provide beach towels for your use. And offer valet parking at the hotel

The shower had very little water pressure, and the bathroom was absolutely way too small for two people to be in at the same time. The location is great, nice and close to the beach and countless restaurants

The hotel is on Collin’s Ave, just 1 block from Ocean Dr- prime location! I will definitely recommend and will be back. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

The room was very clean, staff were really great, the location is excellent within 2 minutes walk of the beach.

Its good because beach just at front of Hotel and staffs did respond as soon as guests requests but not so good amenities with that price Anyway i am ok

We did not encounter a single person who didn’t greet us with a smile or go out of their way to make our stay the best it could be

The room is clean the stuff is outstanding wonderful, Richie and the other girl, it does need some renovation the windows oceanfront and not so clean and the elevator is very very slow.

I didn’t like the fact that the restaurant they have there gave us food that was not ordered and then they changed us for it they made it seem like it was complementary

There were small problems like the central air which kept the room very cold, the gas stove which needed to be connected and the Jacuzzi outdoor pool which was under repair. The room problems were resolved quickly

The restaurant had excellent food but don’t know how they manage as saw few customers. Don’t know how longer they will exist but must say my wife and I did enjoy our three day stay overall

While still expensive compared to other rooms this size it stands above many others. The food in South Beach is double the price anywhere else

Service from Izzy top notch as he went above and beyond to help us. Towels and other amenities at request for the beach and free to use. Room clean and amenities good. I scored a 4 because a little TLC could be needed

The beach was easily accessible as it was across the street from the hotel. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming

Feels like 1936, but updated air and electric. Elegant breakfast that is super fresh bread, and fruit, even champagne. Captures the essence of south beach

Friendly staff. Great location very cute clean room. Only downfall our room was on first floor close to the lobby/dinning area. We could hear people talking and chairs moving all night while trying to sleep.

The beach is only a few steps away! The hotel provided beach towels as well. Our room was clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom doesn't have a proper door that locks

The only note for anyone looking to stay at this property is that the hotel itself doesn't have any parking. There is a Municipal Parking Garage right around the corner from the hotel

We had a great stay at the Cavalier Hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful. They also have a bar area as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for dine-in or take-out

It made exploring the area incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was clean and tidy throughout, and the rooms were well-maintained and comfortable

It was such a great experience! I stayed there from Jan 24th - Feb 1st. I absolutely loved it such a great location to be in if you’re a lover for the beach like me. Comfortable and amazing room and service was wonderful

The Starlite is a very neat, and cozy little hotel. It is a little old, but the rooms have been updated and modern. For the prices, I don't know how you could have a better experience for the $$ right next to the beach

If you don’t mind noise or can work with it, it’s a good place to have a writers retreat. The beach is a five minute walk away. There’s a gelato store next-door, and Ocean Drive is filled with food options

Great location walkable to everything and one block from South Beach. Large room and comfortable bed. No noise from surrounding rooms. Rooftop pool nice but closed by 7pm so no sunset views

The hotel upgraded my stay to a suite with my own private Terrace! I was happily surprised. I also always enjoy the nice included breakfast and the rooftop pool

Hi I love how everytging is walkable the room was spacious and i stayed at a villa which we love but the pool was super dirty. Plus ******* tell you onw thing and qhen you get there there is a 116 fee for the breakfast

Front desk check in was quick and easy, hotel offers complimentary buffet breakfast and a free welcome cocktail per adult (limited choice but nice touch). Rooftop pool is in the villa section, moderate size

I stayed here with a friend in January 2024. It was a great location close to everything beach, restaurants but also quiet. The back patio was a little gem to sit out at night, rooms were clean

The hotel is just a block from the beach and has great restaurants and night life all within walking distance. We stayed in a suite which was perfect as we had our 2 kids with us

The roof-top pool is jacuzzi size (still not sure if it’s a pool, per se). On-site restaurant is only open Thursday-Monday. Food is amazing and staff friendly, but the prices… ouch! Rooms are tight but comfy

We requested a room change and received a quick response. We were moved within a couple of hours and were pleased with their friendly, efficient communication. Beach service was great.

There is a whatsapp number that you can text should you need anything. The pro's of this property are that the rooms are big and comfy. The location is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and about 25 to Ocean Drive

The Daydrift was such a vibe! Beautiful common areas with thought put into aesthetics. Room was clean and had complimentary water and coffee. The staff was very helpful and friendly!
