Hotels on first line in Miami Beach

I was very happy with the cleanliness of yhe hotel /the room and the service provided. They also had some unexpexted daily happy hrd and activities. The beach cart in the room with beach towels

This location is different from the rest of the normal Marriott collection. The entire area is preserved in the art district. The hotel does not have a pool, fitness center or parking

We stayed here after a day of plane/car travel. They have valet parking ($50) which was super convenient. The hotel provided a beach cart with chairs, towels, etc

They had a dessert bar come in at 8:30pm which was amazing. Perfect location for beach trips, walking along Ocean Ave and taking in the nightlife

Parking is a couple of blocks away in a public parking lot. This was a challenge during spring break, but walking can be your primary way of getting to and from so many great restaurants. The real difference is the staff

chairs and unbrella was also a very nice surprise. Oh and having the ability to a free washer and dryer was a big plus. Since it was walking distance to bars and restaurants

Centrally located with spacious room, no elevator so ensure you can carry your luggage. The area around the hotel is very prime near the beach with many dining options.

We showed up early and Mike was awesome and super accommodating and friendly! I would ALMOST say the property could use some updating, but I wouldn’t want it to lose its charm either… Either way, the location is great, the staff is AWESOME, and we would definitely consider staying here again if/when we come back!

Very nice location. We had 1bdr apartment with kitchen and it was huge! Clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a downside: very limited options, no eggs.

This hotel was great for my four day trip. My room was clean, front desk reps were friendly and informative. I will definitely be returning.

My kids love the pool and the outside area is so nice. They don't allow food or snacks by the pool which is annoying. I have little kids who get hungry for chips. The bar there only sells real food and expensive

It being located in Mid-Beach was perfect as it was a simple uber or walking distance to North and South Beach. Sergio and Mari were great upon checking in

This is not the first time we've stayed at the Alexander. There is a reason we keep coming back. This year our apartment was excellent. It was clean and in good condition

The valet people are super nice, the security guards and concierge are super friendly. The front deck seemed overworked and under staffed at times. There were two weddings within two days so maybe that's the reason

The pool area is amazing as the pools are heated, beach access is great with the water sports area being right next to our hotel on the beach. Definitely a great place to stay

The pool and hot tub areas were well attended and spacious. The pool water was wonderfully warm. I just didn't like the ambience overall

I loved everything about this hotel. It had a beautiful layout and a great location with plenty of shops, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby. It was also within walking distance of Miami's best beaches

My mom and I stayed at Villa Italia a few weeks ago and had the best stay! The owner, Oscar, and his staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is truly enjoyable! We had a few questions and needed assistance with a few things the first night and the owner made a point to call us promptly the next morning to make sure everything was thoroughly addressed

David and Maude were so incredibly kind and cheerful everyday that we saw them, which was a highlight! The location is awesome, close to the beach and also lots of cafes and restaurants! Great walkability and felt safe too

I can’t say enough good things about Villa Italia Hotel and the incredible manager, Oscar. The location couldn’t be more convenient — just steps from everything in South Beach — yet it still feels peaceful and relaxing

It’s rare to find this kind of hospitality in Miami! I would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Beach

The property and the room were very clean. The beds were also comfortable. Staff were friendly. My room was ready in a timely manner. The hotel offers two free lounge chairs at the beach

Close to the beach and grocery. Place was acceptable in cleanliness. The kitchen bottom cabinets didn't have handles so made it tricky to open

It would be great if the hours could be extended for guests who want to relax in the pool later in the evening

Stove top wording was gone so guessed at the temp but was still able to make breakfast. A fan should be installed in the bathroom and over the stove but overall it was a pleasant stay

We booked Ithaca last minute for one night pre-cruise stay on December 6th. The location is walking distance to south beach, shopping, CVS, nail salons plus it’s about 15 minutes drive to Port of Miami

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location was a 2 min walk to the beach and right in the middle of everything. Parking is 20$ a night in a parking deck that’s right up the street from the hotel

Ithaca has super location close to the beach. Moreoever it has clean, big rooms that are well maintained. It provides also umbrellas, chairs and beach towels.

You are two minutes walk from the beach, and there is a Walgreens on the next block which is 24 hour

The room was excellent and the staff was really terrific.

I wish I knew his name but you guys should give him a raise lol his customer service skills were excellent. The room was beautiful, I liked everything, and everything was nearby, there was no need to go anywhere

We've stayed here 3 times - 2019, 2021, 2023 - always in August. The location can't be beat with the hotel being walking distance to great restaurants and bars, grocery and convenience stores, and liquor stores

The room was well equipped and spacious, could easily accommodate 4 people. The bathroom was huge and had a rain shower. It was just steps from the beach and right in the middle of everything yet still very quite

This comes in handy because you have a fridge and microwave in your room. The reasonable resort fee includes two beach lounge chairs with an umbrella, just steps away from the hotel

The room is quite stylish, but the configuration is very simple, with only towels and a small piece of soap, the central air conditioning is very cold, there is no quilt, only a thin sheet to cover, the location is not bad, just a few minutes walk to the beach

Check in was relatively easy, however was not made aware of any deposit or parking fees. That said the room was very nice and clean and the beds comfortable

I also felt secure and at ease during my entire stay, which was particularly important to me because we have two young toddlers. Also, being just across the street from the beach was so convenient with the little ones

It also has spacious and clean rooms, great customer service, and ensures the safety of its guests. The staff members were professional and attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was exceptional

This is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The location is right across the beach, the hotel is modern and clean and the receptionist Danny is very professional, friendly and provides outstanding customer service

I liked everything but it was a little irritating that my room was dirty, the bathroom was also a mess from the moment I came in. It was the worst disappointment of my life to stay in this hotel

This place is super cheap in the peak season. The hostel is very clean and is a very short walk to the Beach and countless stores.

Highly recommend the 8 bed rooms. 6 bed was too small... but I had no issues switching. Very close to the shopping and beach. Location is great! I'd stay there again.

Loved my weekend here! The staff were all so kind and helpful. The little extras available on site (like drinks for purchase, and beach chairs and towels for free) were a delight too

The staff was incredibly kind, if you had a bad experience most likely it's on you. Rooms have private bathroom, tiled shower, the room and bathroom gets clean every single day. I can go on with a positive review

The hotel's location is amazing, right in front of the beach and they provide towels for you to take to the beach. It's very simple but it was great for us, especially since we weren't going to stay there all day

This is at the Southern end of the beach and at a very good price so don't expect too many home comforts. The room we had was accessed through the restaurant which a was a little strange, but it was comfortable and clean

However, it is on Ocean Drive and an easy walk to "muscle beach" and the Art Deco museum so for the price I would definitely stay again if in the area

Room was average but adequate for our needs. Small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in our room. We were in a corner room on the back. It much of a view but plenty of windows. Close to the beach which was nice

Okay now for all the lovely things about this hotel — the location is amazing, quick walk to the beach, south beach, local grocery store right around the corner, boutique hotel bars and Starbucks! The restaurant in the hotel - Bar Luca… AMAZING

I stayed here for 4 nights and would say this place is not bad for its price. Pros: nice rooms and decorations, friendly staff and location very close to the beach. Also if you are not driving there are bus stops around

Went in expecting a good experience (not luxury) and was very satisfied. Hotel: nice and welcoming lobby. Front desk friendly and helpful with questions Location: very good. About 30 minute beach walk to south beach

I’ll start w the negatives and end on all the highs! The floors in the room were extremely dirty, like leave your shoes on the whole time, dirty but everything else in the room was clean! Only other gripe about the room is the moisture… a dehumidifier would do wonders

They have a KILLER happy hour with food & unique cocktails! The overall vibe is very trendy & cute and all the staff was great and friendly! 100% would stay here again - just remember your house slippers :)

Cons: it really smells not good there and the walls are quite thin. The restaurants nearby are quite pricey, I found Ana’s Market, where you can have decent breakfast for very reasonable price

I stayed with my husband in this hotel for vacation a week ago! everything was amazing! The room is big, beautiful and most importantly clean! the room has everything you need, TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, iron, hair dryer

We stayed at Secret Garden for our one year anniversary, and we couldn’t have picked anyone better. The lounge and lobby are some of the most beautiful places in the entire mid-beach Miami district

It is directly across from the beach, which they do provide complimentary umbrellas and chairs. There is also a seating area outside the hotel with chairs and umbrellas. Walgreens/Cvs is close walking distance as well

The lighting and ambience deemed esthetically pleasing and the personal touches gave the average Miami Beach 5 star a run for its money. The spa tub and marble floors were appropriate touches

Walgreens is 24hrs which was a blessing. Directly across collins there is a hidden gem restaurant/bar under the hotel. Awesome food,drinks and a nice bar vibe with pool

Came from Simon’s YouTube video - although never been to this hotel - but I think it deserves a 5 star review with that level of cleanliness that Simon has shown in the room.

The walls were paper thin, and the lady of the night in the room next to mine had a VERY busy day. The bed in the room next to mine was constantly banging against the wall, and let's just say that woman wad very loud

Perfect spot in South beach right by beach and close to all the good spots in Miami - I highly recommend it. Only ever quiet for maybe 6 hrs out of 24 which is great if that's what you're looking for
