Hotels on first line in Miami Beach

(Saturday) On the day of departure, Sunday, we were able to use the pool after checking out. However, 80% of the sunbeds by the pool were reserved. The music volume is between 80 and 118 decibels

Hotel is beautiful. Note that weekends they have pool parties with loud music and selective seating. But great property

Pool and beach staff offered amazing services. Housekeeping is not as good, rooms are not cleaned well, we found our bathroom rugs and shower area to be uncleaned and still dirty after housekeeping

Although the sea view balcony of the room is diagonally facing the coast, the view is still good. Most of the service staff are very welcoming and can call me by my name accurately

Without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Regis as child friendly as this one, but you can tell they train their staff well to work with children

Don't worry, if you don't like kids, you won't even know about them because they have another pool that is just for adults. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was always fresh and fast

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The staff were extremely sweet with our two girls and the food was delicious! The beach structure and pool were a delight!

Overall good, but didn’t like the “room key” was di-actived 2 hours before our check-out. And please keep in mind that the pool and access to the beach will be closed at 7 pm

The ocean-view rooms directly facing the sea not only boast beautiful views but are also very spacious, with balconies offering unbeatable ocean vistas. The hotel's beach service is also excellent

The room faces the sea, and the view is very comfortable. The hotel beach is not big and is shared with the hotel next door. The beach chairs are collected by the staff at about 5 or 6 pm

We also used the private beach! Please note that service to both the pool and beach ends at 5pm

However, Nobu has an adult only pool which was so peaceful and great amenity. The only two pools looked very kid friendly. The men's sauna and steam room was out of order in the spa which was disappointing

If you want to lie on the beach, you need to go early

After communicating with the front desk, they helped me upgrade to a sea view room. The room had a great view and I was very satisfied

The water: beach and swimming pool are wonderful! Staff in both areas were attentive and friendly

The room was lovely and in a loction which fulfilled my request. The area is lovely with reference to the locality of the beach and local shops/ restaurants

Restaurant and bar downstairs with happy hour from 3 to 6 every day. Just a couple minutes walk to the Miami Beach Boardwalk, and sand and water. Perfect location for a great price

I walked 2 min to walk to the beach. The staff was not the usual friendly welcoming but i got used to it .

While not top of the notch, but it's clean, has private access to the beach. Staff is responsible. I would give it 3 stars although they branded as 4. Overall is good.

The overall situation is in line with the positioning of the Holiday Inn, and you can enjoy the sea and beach in Miami with a lower budget

The hotel is good, the location is good, larger windows and a balcony would be nice, but otherwise, no issues. The hotel charges a very high service fee, but they warn you about it upfront on the website

The hotel is great, close to everything on the hillside. Only the parking in the area is expensive, but there are cheaper options a few minutes' walk away.

Staff were excellent. Room was amazingly clean and beautiful. Unfortunately, we could hear other guests in the hallway at night, so the walls aren't terribly soundproof.

Took off a star because the room I had was smaller than normal. I rented a two bed room and the room was just enough for the two beds and a chair in the corner

Checkin and friendliness of staff (Julie) was great! Only issue from inside room 402 we could hear all outside noises. Room location was not great.

The beds were a little low to the floor than what I normally expect. It is modern but I'd rather have more room

Everything about it, design, staff, service, bars, restaurants, are right up there. There are only a small percentage of hotels in the world have this quality. Do your self a favour and make reservation

One of the workers in the front explained everything upon arrival showed us everything in the hotel and gave us some champagne and a big bottle of san pelegrino when I told him I wasn’t drinking

My daughter and I spent a long weekend at Faena Miami. We loved our stay and were glad we choosed Faena over many other places. The hotel is beautiful and the service is phenomenal

This is one of my favourite hotels in Miami and I have stayed here before. The location is excellent; beach is clean and the amenities are great. The staff is also terrific at the front desk and beach/pool area

Views are very nice - the beach chairs are alittle bit old - the main problem is the noise from the AC units - it’s so loud hou don’t want to go on our patio or on the rooftop terrasse

The front desk clerk was mostly hospitable. Excellent and pleasant service from Caroline. It’s a a celebration for my nephews birthday . Caroline made this visit memorable! Thanks for all your great work Caroline.

I found they did a poor job cleaning, did not replace items that were taken out of the room (ie bathrobe taken and never replaced, soaps and tissues/toilet paper not provided after housekeeping service came and left) and attempting to call housekeeping was also non effective

Food at the restaurant is very poor and the food counter to take out is below average

However this is the one time I had issues with the housekeeping

We enjoyed our one night stay. Hotel is very clean and chic looking. Nice cafe on a corner. I wish their pool was heated, water was very cold. Overall a great experience.

It was really close to Miami South Beach. The best place to go to the beach The rooftop pool is also large, so I went up there to relax for a while

They said they would provide two beach chairs at South Beach 18, but it's a shame I couldn't enjoy it due to time constraints

Amazing stay with a perfect location near the beach. We could walk everywhere from the beach to eating. Security locks the doors at night, art deco vibe with clean atmosphere

There is daily continental breakfast, not sure if hotel has a gym, pool is small. During our stay there seemed to be some construction or remodeling of the bar and out doors area

Bar area was not in service and no dining. Hotel looks and feels clean however, there was a slight smell of mold in the air and coming through the vent

Great hotel a few meters from the beach. They provide 2 chairs and towels at the beach and pool. Heated pool and jacuzzi along with cocktail bar at the last floor with view to the city

Our first room was really nice, but the air conditioning malfunctioned. Santiago was very helpful, and found us another room right away. The new room was even nicer than th first. Great stay.

Stayed for two nights room only. I really liked the design of the hotel, artwork and facilities. The pool area is really nice and they have their own sun beds on Miami Beach which are complementary for hotel guests

Hotel is about 1 street back from the beach but still a wonderful location. The room was comfortable without being spectacular, everything worked and it was a decent size

Rooms are not as interestingly designed as the rest of the hotel. All staff I talked to were very nice and helpful but at both checkin and checkout there were long lines to speak to someone

We waited over 20 mins to start the checkin process. Overall I would be happy to stay at The Gates Hotel again

The place is well located in Miami beach, close to the beach and provide beach towels as well. The price I had found the room was good, but other times I saw it was way more expensive

Cool place , looks like restaurant downstairs. Lots of nice people but no kitchen, so can’t cook there . But instead they have 2 small swimming pools

The bathroom was great and clean Price is high, the AC was freezing cold and yet there is no real blanket. The curtains are not light proof and there are no shelves clise to the bed

A wonderful experience! Great management, great staff, wonderful location! Walgreens around the corner and the beach is gorgeous.

In addition to that there is complimentary champagne everyday at 5pm and a complimentary continental breakfast with coffee, fresh orange juice and delicious croissants!! To top it off they have a wonderful roof top pool with jacuzzi with amazing ocean views!! Our beds were comfy, great shower, and kitchen and TV's!! Very chic and modern space!! I will definitely be back!!! Shout out to all the front...

Good beach view from the room lots of amenities around the hotel great place to start

Very friendly and attentive staff. The room with the living room and kitchenette is the ideal solution for families who want to have a different kind of meal. The pool at the end of the day is magnificent

Nice staff. Very good location. Rooms with view. However, very complicated televisions that we could not operate and nobody actually knew. We missed football playoff games.

They charge you $100/day for incidentals, but will return money if inspection of room yields no damage. Mini bar items are charged to this, including a small bottle of water for $10. Everything is very expensive

Most were young 20 year olds that had trouble understanding and speaking English 6. When I encountered workers in the hotel no one said hello or frankly smiled. Windows dirty with paint on them (see pictures)

The room had no black out curtains and a dirty floor. the light pollution was pretty bad. If you like a dark room, probably not the place for you. You also may need more pillows, only 2 per bed

Asked 5 times to get them cleaned. No action, no feedback, just crickets 8. Rooms very plain with blank walls. It is nice that they play music until after 1100 in front of the hotel

The first hour is free, she then said that it is a $50/hour charge after that. You can rent bicycles from the CITI bike stands for $24 for the whole day and less per hour

Front desk personnel do not welcome you when you enter. Playing with phone, working on computer, no one else there but you walking in or out

We used the hotel-provided, free beach chairs and towels each day and parked them close to the water’s edge, in front of the encampments from the neighboring Cadillac and Andaz hotels

Everything about my stay here was perfect! Clean rooms, easy access to places and beach! Italian restaurant right there perfection! And the employees were just so welcoming and helpful! Definitely coming back!

We booked a room at the Hotel Continental because of its proximity to the beach and its affordability compared to most of the Hilton properties south of 40th Street in Miami Beach

The room was clean and the king mattress was great and we slept better here than in any Hampton Inn, HGI, etc which have huge welts in their mattresses. Even the AC was smooth and calming

Leo checked us in and was very personable during our stay. He had a great attitude about him. Katy was very sweet and conversational with my wife and me

She served us during happy hours and the next mornings at breakfast. We loved talking with her and appreciated her hustle
