Staff was very welcoming, bartender at the pool was awesome. Pool was clean and very peaceful. Entrance and pool lounge chairs are a bit dated. Bar was very busy - great energy

the only complaint I'd have is it was impossible to get a sun lounger at the pool the 2 days we were there

Bathrobes hang in the closet and pool towels are upstairs by the pool. Also very great: beach towels and folding chairs for the beach are available at the reception

The hotel is in a very good location, on a busy street, convenient for eating, and a few minutes' walk to the seaside. The room number is clean, but the sound insulation is slightly poor

If there are any minor problems, they can be solved quickly at any time. Friends, please remember to prepare toothpaste, slippers, and other toiletries. It seems that there are only shampoo, shower and conditioner here

The hotel opened in 2014 is right next to the beach. It is said that the open-air restaurant downstairs is still very famous. I would like to praise Ctrip's service

Great location right across the south beach. We enjoyed our stay going in and out to beach n close by shopping. Old rooms, may benefit from some maintenance. Breakfast average. Nice drinks. Decent amenities. No pool.

All the rooms have beach chair and towel. Room service is regular and good. Just 2-3 minutes walk to the beach through the beach volleyball playground

everyone is smoking marijuana everywhere! hotel provided breakfast between 9-11. No pool at hotel and restaurant connect with hotel was mediocre. Beds were comfy, bathroom was tight

This is a very nice well kept historic building hotel. The bell boy was very sweet and nice and was willing to take a photo of me and my brother in front of this iconic hotel from GTA Vice city

The rooms were very nice and the AC was nice and cool

I must say, my wife surprised me with a trip to Miami with a stat at the beacon and it's been a blast. The staff are friendly and the room was pretty cool. I recommend it if you ever visit south beach miami.

Very good, but it is a bit troublesome to check in by yourself. The bar and restaurant downstairs are lively until the early morning. Maybe it is due to the location of the room, the noise here in Building 7 is not loud

BEWARE there is a daily resort fee hiding in the fine print that increases the cost of the room and there was no major amenity like a swimming pool or spa that seemed to justify this

Sheets are scratchy and towels were as well. Elevator dings and you can hear it at the end of the hallway and in your room. Hallways are loud and nothing to absorb sound so you hear everything in your room

Very good quality, clean, nicely decorated. Need to come again and again and again to explore all the different rooms decorations.

Wendell was very welcoming, providing all the details about the hotel and surrounding area.

Breakfast was not included in the price of stay

Issues are that: 1) bed wasn’t very comfortable: 2) no gym; and 3) incredibly noisy in the morning as there was walking, moving furniture…etc in that apartment right above us. Maybe the staff was cleaning that room

Breakfast was great, room was clean, bed was comfortable , pools were amazing, staff was great. Overall a great experience.

I had no view from my room. I was the only one having breakfast and it was fair. Service was great though.

The staff at the pool and the beach were always ready to set us up with food and beverages. The amount of staff to wait on you was tremendous. The room was well appointed and freshly made up each day

Great little hotel with lovely pool area,quieter than many nearby. Bathroom terrible however,needs updating. Beds comfortable and super views from the balcony, overlooking the beach which is a 2 minute walk

Rooms and pool were perfectly clean with the exception of the bathroom: the paint was coming out of the roof, there was mold all over it, and the tub looked like it had not been properly cleaned for a while

There’s a microwave in the lobby. Not enough umbrellas in the pool area

Perfect location, but they have a lot of room for improvements. The lobby smelled dusty and muggy, though they know about it and apparently they’ve been trying to fix it

Be prepared to do some exercise since all doors in this hotel weight 100kg. I don’t know why, but it’s super heavy to get any door opened, you really need to pull hard

The hotel exceeded my expectations. They were very accommodating, the place was very clean, updated and luxurious. The community was perfect for walking, eating and biking/walking. Best experience, will go back.

They gave me a handicap room when I showered all the water went out, but they fix it for me and they give me different room immediately but I wasn’t happy because I didn’t tell me it’s a handicap room they’re supposed to let me know it’s a handicap and I will confirm I could have it or not

I stayed at the Grand Beach Hotel in Surfside for a full week and it was the best experience ever. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable, and the ocean views were amazing

 I didn't eat at the hotel but they have a restaurant and bar on site.   Good WIFI access throughout the property.   Housekeeping was done well each day.  I would stay here again if I came back to Miami

 I booked a Deluxe Double Queen room.  Staff were very friendly and pleasant.  Really helpful, they would always greet you.  As a solo female traveller, I felt safe here

We didn’t have a balcony although it stated that we would. But the hotel was great and reasonably cheap.

Beach towels had to be brought to the beach from the room they weren’t offered at the pool. Only one towel per person each stay. For the price it was good that it had kitchen

This place was amazing. Two pools, a hot tub, a billiards table, a gym, plus free valet parking! The location can't go unnoticed either. Right next to the beach, Publix transportation, and a park!

The apartment style rooms were very large and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and Miami Beach. Very neat and clean. Could use a few small upgrades but overall it was a fabulous stay.

Stayed here for a last minute babymoon with my husband. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little out dated but still very nice. We had a beautiful ocean view over the pool

Beautiful spacious Clean very nice rooms however there are no amenities in the suite. the only thing nice are the rooms but there’s no game room fitness center eating area or anything else besides a beach and a pool

One free dedicated parking spot is a huge bonus, the amenities are good, lots of good restaurants nearby and the view is great. This place is hard to beat for the price. The photo is the view from the private balcony

I was very happy with the cleanliness of yhe hotel /the room and the service provided. They also had some unexpexted daily happy hrd and activities. The beach cart in the room with beach towels

This location is different from the rest of the normal Marriott collection. The entire area is preserved in the art district. The hotel does not have a pool, fitness center or parking

We stayed here after a day of plane/car travel. They have valet parking ($50) which was super convenient. The hotel provided a beach cart with chairs, towels, etc

Location is excellent, straight on Ocean Drive! Rooms are spacious and clean! They are offering you a cart with beach chairs, umbrella and towels which are very useful

Although the hotel room is compact, the design is reasonable. The front desk staff is very friendly. The stroller in the room also came in handy when we went to the beach.

I stayed here with a friend in January 2024. It was a great location close to everything beach, restaurants but also quiet. The back patio was a little gem to sit out at night, rooms were clean

The gentleman at front desk was so quick to make things right and move us into another room without hesitation! He was super sweet and super helpful, I unfortunately did not get his name but he definitely made our stay 10 times better! The vibe here is great, it is a bit noisy so if you mind that, this is not the place for you

Our room we got settled into was super clean & king sized bed was super comfortable! Also you can borrow their nice bikes to ride to the beach! I would give this place 10 stars if I could 🥰

Wow so let me just say this place is breathtakingly beautiful! The pictures don’t do it any justice and it smells amazing! The service I received from Andres was exceptional!! He made me feel very welcomed and at home as soon as I walked in

My kids love the pool and the outside area is so nice. They don't allow food or snacks by the pool which is annoying. I have little kids who get hungry for chips. The bar there only sells real food and expensive

The valet people are super nice, the security guards and concierge are super friendly. The front deck seemed overworked and under staffed at times. There were two weddings within two days so maybe that's the reason

The pool and hot tub areas were well attended and spacious. The pool water was wonderfully warm. I just didn't like the ambience overall

We stayed at The Alexander after our original vacation plans fell through. The condo/apartment was cute and cozy, with a balcony that provided a great view all around

Sergio was kind enough to call me when our room was ready (which was before the 4pm check-in time) and Mari assisted quickly and promptly when I told her that our AC wasn't working

This is not the first time we've stayed at the Alexander. There is a reason we keep coming back. This year our apartment was excellent. It was clean and in good condition

I stayed at the Blue Moon for a work convention. This is a perfect hotel for that purpose! Every day, my room was cleaned and refilled with new towels and water

Awesome intimate hotel ,staff is on point with help. Pool is not huge,looks like a sauna but if you're looking for intimate and private. Wings and fries were delicious

We were looking for a sensibly priced hotel ion Ocean Drive for a one night stay before returning to the UK ater finishing a two week transatlantic cruise. We were astounded and delighted with the hotel and the staff

The room was large, immaculately clean and so well equipped. The staff could nt have been nmore helpful. Maybe being only 14 rooms allows them to focus more but this is a big plus for any prospective bookers

Rooms were clean, but walls are a little thin. Heard people in the hallway all night long. It was nice that they provided beach towels and umbrellas.

So many fun little perks staying here: the wine, breakfast, free waters and coffee, late checkout options. The location is in northern beach Miami so it’s not quite as touristy

Theo at the front desk was very helpful and an outstanding young man. Parking is available for $18 per day and there is no pool, but with the beach so near, you don't really miss it

It was cold when we were there so figuring out the hot water was a little challenging besides that everything else was good! Didn’t eat breakfast so can’t comment on that aspect

Hi I love how everytging is walkable the room was spacious and i stayed at a villa which we love but the pool was super dirty. Plus ******* tell you onw thing and qhen you get there there is a 116 fee for the breakfast

Front desk check in was quick and easy, hotel offers complimentary buffet breakfast and a free welcome cocktail per adult (limited choice but nice touch). Rooftop pool is in the villa section, moderate size

Got extended checkout for free for an hour and spent the rest of the time in the pool area until time to leave for the airport. They even give you towels and there is a shower also

The pool was shut for a few days during my stay for refurbishment and the terrace in my suite was a lil tired and the TV in the living area of my suite did not work but other than that it was a brilliant stay

I felt safe as a solo traveller celebrating my 51st bday. I even took in a Miami Heat game for under £15 all in (tip wait until a couple of hours before the game go to ticketmaster absolute bargain)

Walking distance to a lot of places. I walked to Oxean drive and the beach and took me under 20 minutes and I am far from fit. Publix supermarket is 12 minutes walk away

Really impressed with ABAE Hotel. The staff were great — friendly, professional, and on point. The room had everything you could want: dishwasher, fridge, washer, and microwave — way more than expected

otherwise the staff was great, the cleaners worked their hardest to keep up with all the traffic pool got shut down right as I arrived and wasn't back up 5 days later unfortunately

I had such an enjoyable time and got to network with so many amazing people in the lounge areas upstairs and downstairs. It’s always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere here

If you book through ******* there will be additional fees - which was not exciting to discover when you're traveling and ready to rest, and the hotel doesn't budge on that which was upsetting

Bathroom needs attention, shower room ceiling is falling , they are mostly dirty, noise from the kitchen (tv on loud, people talking loud ) until the dawn 2 o'clock in the morning while silence from 11pm to 9am is supposed to happen

As to the front desk Julio and Erick treat people professionally…but there’s a woman unfortunately I do not remember her name, which does not. Kitchen : the fridge is a mess and dirty…
