The basic queen room is tiny. Sheets are scratchy and towels were as well. Elevator dings and you can hear it at the end of the hallway and in your room. Hallways are loud and nothing to absorb sound so you hear everything in your room.

Stayed for 2 nights, overall great experience. The location is very convenient, and walkable to the beach. There's a nice cafe in the lobby, and the space is quiet and comfortable. The room was clean and check-in was smooth. The reception closes after 5pm, but they provide directions for self check-in. Great customer service!

I was super skeptical about this hotel but it turned out to be great. Check in was easy and the rooms were very clean with a nice bathroom. The bedroom decor could use a little updating but overall great hotel for a quick not frills work trip. Staff was amazing! They ley us check in several hours early so we weren't stranded with our bags until check-in time! They also gave us complimentary drink cards & let us keep our bags there after checkout until we left to the airport!

Location is perfect. The room was a nice size. It was very dusty and the toilet was like a public restroom toilet and it had to be flushed twice. The plumbing was not up to par. The location was the best part.

At check in, your representative, Godfrey was wonderful. He was so friendly, helpful and went out of his way to make sure our check in experience and stay was great. Essex House has a fantastic location but employees like Godfrey make the stay that much better.

Stayed here for a last minute babymoon with my husband. Very nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little out dated but still very nice. The pick of the litter, I wouldn’t stay at another property ever, the Hilton Bentley is the most hospitable hotel on south beach, Ms Debbie, Orlando and the whole entire staff makes you feel at home, the rooms are immaculate and the food is delicious.

Gorgeous location, spacious room, ocean views, sun loungers, water, and towels provided. Plus, if you check out at 11 a.m., you can stay on the beach until evening. 🗽 I also loved the restaurant, with its varied and delicious dishes.

Yesterday, the hotel facilities were quite old, probably because it had been open for a long time. There was also a musty smell in the room, probably because it was close to the beach. This luxury hotel from the 1990s is very old. The facilities are intact but not advanced. If you like classical style, you can consider it. The service is average, and the key is that the calculation is wrong. I may not choose this hotel again at the same price.

My boyfriend and I were upgraded to an ocean front room for our two night stay. The sunrise was beautiful and we could see it right from our window. The beach was easily accessible as it was across the street from the hotel. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Our reservation was for the President Villa section of the hotel (an annex to the main President hotel). Front desk check in was quick and easy, hotel offers complimentary buffet breakfast and a free welcome cocktail per adult (limited choice but nice touch). Great hotel, very well located and with good transport links to get there from the airport by bus. The facilities look like they were renovated a couple of years ago, but they could use a little maintenance. Overall, a very good experience, the staff were very friendly, and I will keep it in mind for future trips.

The Altair is a beautiful kosher hotel that caters to guests of all ages and religions. The hotel charges a daily resort fee of $50 and $38 for overnight valet parking, so watch out. The restaurant can get very crowded on Shabbat and Jewish holidays. And the sukkah is mostly not kosher by most standards.
