Amazing Hotel
We had a great stay at the Hotel Colonnade! The room was great, exactly as pictured with the loft and spiral staircase so my kids were thrilled. The service was outstanding, check in was a breeze and we received a complimentary bottle of champagne. The food for breakfast was excellent as was the service. We can't wait to come back!

The property is very nice and the rooms are big, bright, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and a public parking facility is a block away. Highly enjoyed our stay.

Friendliness has changed a bit. Not like it used to be. Maybe it'll just me. I've stayed there several times and travel all the time.

Although the say I checked in, everything was great.

The hotel was inviting and the staff were friendly from the front desk Michelle to Concierge Huberto to the valet and cleaning service. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. U M family weekend was great!

My suggestion to the hotel is the breakfast area can be updated with more aesthetic furnishing that is conducive for dining in a rush society. The omelet station was a must

This is a very old property and its age shows. It’s a solid 3 star hotel not 4. However even at 3 star hotels I haven’t had the same general comfort issues this hotel has. To start the humidity in our room approached 90%. That is well above the 50% average level. 60% is max. Fortunately the hotel has a small arsenal of dehumidifiers knowing this is an issue. I’m over 50 and I don’t think I’ve ever had to dehumidify a hotel room. I have emptied gallons upon gallons of water during my stay. The caulking in the bathroom is worn and in some cases mold is forming in the corners. The fixtures in many places are rusting -prob bc of the humidity. The couch in our suite reminds me of my college dorm room and the top cushions are contorted downward after years of heavy use. There is a nice terrace in our suite; however there is a 1/2 inch gap due to deteriorated weather stripping that allows outside air to easily enter the room. During heavy wind and thunderstorms the wind gusted through this gap. The gym is awesome with top of the line equipment. The concierge is very helpful.

The mattress is soft and old very difficult to get good sleep
AC was noise it . The pool are and the pool needs an upgrade, as well as the pump of the water fountain by the pool does not work and we can hear the noise from the 5th flloor

Definitely use valet instead of self-parking. The Executive Suite was excellent and highly recommended for the extra cost. And definitely get the breakfast option. Breakfast was wonderful! The hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, location was excellent. There is nothing negative to say.

Located very centrally within the best restaurants in Coral Gables.

The hotel staff were excellent and responded to our concerns about the restroom plumbing very promptly. Overall a great stay!

I looked the other way the first time...today again the delivery person "claimed to have no change". It won't happen to me again.

The very night I posted this review, I was contacted by the "new" owner who beyond having to deal with the ridiculous and never ending construction on Miracle Mile; must implement his level of customer service on existing employees. I appreciate his stepping up.

Horrible pizza just delivered. Cold, hard, hardly any ingredients, delivery took an hour and a half, said it would take 45 minutes. Delivery guy didn’t care.

They messed up my order completely and then the "new" owner had the audacity to get on the phone and make it seem like it was my fault that the order was messed up!!! He spoke to me like I was a child and I was the one who messed up my order. Customer service is definitely lacking from the owner. I will never go back and will be in touch with corporate on Monday.

Ronald Fong the "manager" of this store is not only disrespectful but he is also abusive. He abused his employee and myself and my family when we went to celebrate her birthday at this location. My family and I are loyal clients of this restaurant but it is extremely unfortunate that it is managed by despicable man. He used abusive language while addressing my complaint to him and his unwillingness to help and when one of the employees kindly tried to addressed the issue more than once he told him to shut up and not get involved. He not only used abusive language but he proceeded to roll his eyes to me more than two times while I asked to speak to his supervisor and then gave me a laughed at me and my family as we left the restaurant. This man ruined my aunts birthday and caused her chest pains. He did not provide us with his supervisors name and in the end wrote corporates number on a paper and he told me "do w.e you want." I demand full compensation from the restaurant for this extremely unacceptable treatment to the extent of ruining my aunts 62nd birthday and giving her chest pains. I encurage cororate to look at the cameras and analyze this mans behavior towards not only me and my family but towards your employees. The employee felt soo ashamed of the way he treated us that he later had to apologize to us for this abusive mans behavior. I do expect to be contracted so I can formally record my complaint and this experience.

The service and food are pretty good here, they could do something to reduce wait times and the valet is just a nightmare but overall I'm happy with their atmosphere

Visited this place from out of town for the first time during lunch with my family and really enjoyed. The portions are perfect (not too much and not too little), our chef was very entertaining, the food was impeccable, and the atmosphere was great. It wasn't crowded either. Will definitely return if back in the area again!

In the past few years the quality of the chefs and the place its self is getting run down a little but it's still fun to go for a kids birthday or a date night to feel like you are 15 again. If not to have some sake and count the amount of happy birthday songs you hear in one sitting.
