The first time I came, there were only two bottles of water; the second and third days, there were none. The cleanliness was decent, but the breakfast was a bit basic

The room was clean and provided a relaxing space after a busy day. The best part of my stay was the staff. They went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience

The hotel's location is a bit out of the way, but the price is reasonable. The hotel offers a free shuttle to shopping malls or restaurants within 5 miles

There was a very loud machine in the room, like a vacuum cleaner. The staff were all very nice, and the Wi-Fi was okay

Nice place, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful day to enjoy the pool and, during the evening, snuggle into the comfortable bed and watch the large TV screen.

Pool and sun loungers and 3 cabanas. Food and drink is abit pricey but that's Miami For you. Unfortunately a lift was put of service so you had to wait a longtime for the lift

The shuttle was easy to find, located in the departure area between gates 7 and 23. The room was clean, but there was no kettle in the room. I could’ve probably asked the front desk, but I didn’t want to bother them

Located perfectly for the airport. Fabulous service from check in staff who let us check in earlier post cruise and we were very grateful as we were so tired. Nice seafood restaurant next door

I have booked this hotel for a friend who has stayed at the Recency several times before. This time it was the cheapest one in the airport area and very close to the airport. The rooms are quite big and reniovated

The free shuttle bus service worked very well. Call the hotel and give them the door number where you would like to be picked up (on the departure level), and the bus arrived in 10 minutes

The Best place to stay i loved it and will tell all of my friends. That La Quinta Inn is the perfect place to stay.

The airport shuttle was not working, not enough soap in the room and some of the power outlets did not work.

The hotel is a bit dated and very simply furnished, but it was adequate for one night. The room was clean, which was the most important thing for us. However, the pool was quite dirty, so we didn't use it

The breakfast could have been better though. The swimming pool looked clean, but was not available for use; not sure why. Their check-out timings was also extended by an hour, which proved to be helpful

The property is very nice and the rooms are big, bright, and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and a public parking facility is a block away. Highly enjoyed our stay.

WHEN WE REQUESTED FRESH TOWELS, THEY BROUGHT THEM TO THE ROOM AND THEY WERE WARM!! WE ALSO ASKED FOR WATERS AND THEY COMPTED THEM FOR US AFTER A LONG NIGHT AT A FAMILY WEDDING. ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH.

My Room was Beautiful, bed so comfortable. Pool was a vibe and the staff was top tier. My overall experience was 100 % I will be back in the near future.

Great section of Miami to stay, close to boutique restaurants/shops a large park the marina and over looked the ocean. Room bed and bedding was the most comfortable that we had on the trip

The new person offered us free parking in exchange for the waiting time which was really nice and night and day from the first person we dealt with

I asked the person behind the front desk to call me if the room would be ready early and she said that it would be a $50 fee

We came back at 4PM and a different person behind the counter said that the room still wasn't ready and it would be 5PM

Great location, less than a 10-minute drive from the airport. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, warm, attentive, and very polite. There's a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, and it even has a swimming pool

Parking is also very convenient

The pool was not used by us or anyone on our stay but the hotel causes a lot of shade over the area, plus there was rain on and off

The staff was very welcoming and nice. The shuttle arrived at the airport within ten minutes of us calling. The food and drinks were awesome, love that the hotel is so fun we did not have to leave to eat and drink

We had a wonderful stay at Kompose boutique! Very clean and it looks so fun!

The room is pleasant but we were not told the room would not be serviced. I presumed that we have to order it but nobody said anything when we checked in. The coffee and tea supplies were not refilled after the fist day.

The entire staff at the property are absolutely wonderful. The property is spotless the amenities and the location is ideal and extremely accessible and I feel extremely safe.

It is very convenient for me, Publix right around the corner, Dadeland Mall like 2 blocks away and I have been staying here since 2011 and just stayed Feb 26, 2005

Perfect location for shopping, the property is very clean. I felt safe at all times. Easy access to great shopping all in walking distance if you’re not driving.

We book this beautiful hotel for one night on Thanksgiving weekend. You will get proper downtown vibe. There is pool on top floor, also has hot/cold spa pool. And sauna spa available 24hour. I highly recommend this hotel

We got a family day pass so we just used the pool and fitness facilities. The pools were really nice - and very clean. The gym is fantastic and the spa amenities were an added bonus

Definitely not built with an older guest in mind. The balcony was filthy, with an old crummy couch and a tiny table. The pool area is nice but currently inundated by chunks of concrete from the nearby construction

I wanted to make sure I took the time to leave a review for this hotel because my stay was truly amazing!!! I stayed here over my birthday weekend, and from the moment I walked in, I was welcomed so warmly by Kate and Emily at the front desk

Check-in was seamless, and I even got a complimentary upgrade

Same for the bathroom - with its 1" sink basin, and a sliding glass door that will either close the shower stall or give you privacy on the toilet. It looks kinda cool but so inefficient (Who designed that lol)

Only microwave is in the lobby but again that was fine as I only needed it rarely - Gym: decent, a few cardio machines and one bench with free weights - Parking: free, lots of space in a convenient lot right behind the hotel Cons: - Shuttle: as everyone mentions, unavailable and unreliable! we had to uber both to and from the airport - Elevators: only one was functioning, the other was out of service...

- Pool: a lot smaller than in the hotels photos and quite unwelcoming, since it’s at the main entrance and faces the busy road. - Restaurant: the rooftop area is fun for plane spotting

As noted in other reviews there is limited privacy in the bathroom due to gaps in the doors, but sliding the door to close off the bedroom area works fine - Noise: very quiet, didn’t even hear a young family next door

What do they expect? - Aircon: standard, no issues - it can’t be shut off it always circulates, but most people like aircon all the time so that’s no problem - Fridge: worked fine, I turned it to the coldest setting on arrival

I see other reviews complaining about street traffic and airplanes, but this hotel is clearly located right across from the MIA runways and on a busy road

Every 30 minutes there is a free shuttle bus to and from the airport. The breakfast has a good choice and quality. There is also a swimming pool

I spent only one night. There isn't much to say. We had the use of the Shuttle service and breakfast during our previous stays, but it wasn't the case this time around.

My room was nice size double bed comfortable clean sheets pool view basically simple Now for my complaints. The a/c was loud but keep us cool, the lamps didn't work and, the shower head needed some hard water cleaner

Breakfast bar below par with normal coffee, juice, and milk but food only bagels, cereals, Oranges but nothing more. Nice pool but honestly no place to walk to from this location

The room was very nice and clean. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. There were two heated pools, and two jacuzzis—one hot, one ice-cold. Cons: planes fly over the hotel, often very loudly

Also, when it's windy, it feels like you're inside a tin can—everything rattles. The soundproofing was very poor; you could hear your neighbors, the street, and so on

We asked reception to call us a taxi, and the driver charged us $200 for the 40-minute ride. We called an Uber back, and for the 1-hour-20-minute ride (due to traffic), they charged us $63

Great location to a short walk or ride to almost everything we wanted to do. Business or pleasure I'd stay again

Unfortunately there appears to be an issue with the Customer Service. I contacted the hotel three times via email to request folios for charges against the corporate card, and received no responses

I then called the hotel, waited for good ten minutes on hold, until someone just hung up! On that basis I will not be using this hotel again

We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel, everything was spotless and the service was exceptional, the breakfast buffet was 10/10, highly recommended for both families and business trips, excellent location.

Staff: Front desk were always very helpful, and available. We did have to ask twice about replacing toilet roll and towels, however it was sorted, even though it was late at night

Well-located hotel, 10 minutes from the airport. A 24/7 IHOP is located just downstairs. Very convenient since the hotel doesn't offer breakfast

The Miami city tours in the red bus is just opposite the hotel just 2 minutes walk. 2 Indian restaurants are wishing 10 minutes of walking from hotel. Good coty view from The hotel

Very accesible, especially if you're coming from the port via a cruise ship. The lobby is spacious and very modern looking. The rooms on the other hand are a bit outdated and need some attention

Good location, close to Port Miami, opposite bayside Market and the hop-on-hop-off bus stop outside the hotel

The drawback was no kettle provided, not sure how the guest enjoyed the coffee and tea bags provided as per photo provided. We asked for the kettle but given two bottle water instead

The moment you step into the lobby you experience a wonderful aroma. The rooms were clean and beautifully designed. The bed and pillows were softer than clouds. It was hard to leave the bed, especially the last day

Great location, metromover is free, miami trolley is free, you obly pay for the buses. Hotel staff very friendly, valet service a bit expensive but considering the other nearby options was more safe

The restaurant guy (sorry, didn't get his name but he's from Barcelona) was respectful, super friendly and very polite. The valet parking guys go above and beyond and ensure your vehicle is ready when u get downstairs

Not far from the airport, suitable for business trips, the surrounding facilities are not very mature, you must take a taxi when going out, the hygiene is good, there is a swimming pool for exercise, the breakfast is relatively simple

There is a paid shuttle bus to take you to the Miami Port to take the cruise ship, which costs $16 per person 4. It has a swimming pool and a gym, but they are not very big and are only used for transit

we were waiting the bus for 30 minutes at the designated place just to see it pass by since the driver didn’t even tried to stop then it took us another 30 minutes to find a taxi due to airport yellow cabs don’t take 10 minutes trip like this one si, the taxi’s dispatcher had to call a blue taxi for us

Staff is very nice, location is wonderful, hotel is comfortable clean and beautiful, breakfast is fantastic, the only disappointing thing is that the shuttle bus was not a reliable transportation, I arrived with my 93 years old mom from a domestic flight

Small problems like the toilet not filling back up after flushing, and TV cuts off for 1-5 seconds randomly. Have not experienced the pool yet but it looks nice

The hotel suite that I got was very clean. The view of the pool was nice from my hotel window. Although with Microsoft being down the check process was very smoothly

I was very satisfied because it was clean, the room was spacious, and it was cheap! However, it was a 30-minute drive from Miami Beach, and there was nothing nearby, so it was a tough location if you didn't have a car.

There's a pool on the premises, but we didn't use it because we didn't have time. The clock wasn't set, but we figured it out ourselves and set the alarm. The free shuttle to the airport is a huge plus

Because I booked within 24 hours, they were not required to cancel my reservation and could’ve charged me the full amount. Thankfully, they did cancel and did not charge me

I booked a room here on a flight to Miami because the airline told me I’d miss my connection. When we landed, my connecting flight was delayed and I was able to make it

I may not have stayed there tonight, but they have earned my business when I return!

The negative feedback is that when the air ran for a while, the room had a musty carpet smell. If I had been staying longer, I would have switched rooms. The carpet definitely needs cleaned or replaced

We chose this location for it's close proximity to the airport. We had an overnight layover and just needed somewhere to shower and sleep. Overall, this room and hotel were decent for the price

It can be hard to find one accommodating of gluten sensitivity, but I had no issue since there were always eggs, a meat protein, yogurt and berries, and fresh cut fruit
