I look forward to staying at the Arthouse every time I’m there for work! This hotel has become a second home to me! The staff is kind, the rooms are comfortable, and the lobby offers perfect NYC charm. I love the weekly live music too. Perfect UWS location! Highly recommend!
My Day stay at the Arthouse Hotel was absolutely delightful! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff, who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for my visit. One of the highlights was the lovely coffee and pastry bar. The selection of pastries was simply irresistible, and the coffee was exquisite—perfect for...
Our experience here at the Arthouse hotel, has been absolutely wonderful. Serafina is next door through the lobby , that's great. Housekeeping was great fresh towels when you need them. Coffee and tea when you ask , everything when you need or when you ask for it. The housekeeping staff is very helpful always. I'm so glad I picked this hotel, it's one of the best decisions I've made this year. Our...
No fridge and mircowave in the room is quite inconvinent. The room is not big.
My only complaint is that I was disappointed that there was no microwave nor refrigerator in the room so seeing that New York is really high every meal that we purchased we were not able to bring back leftovers because there was nowhere to store it nor reheat it for safe consumption.
We had an incredible experience staying at this hotel with my family. From the moment we arrived for check-in, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality, along with great recommendations about the neighborhood. The rooms are very spacious, much better than other hotels in the area where we’ve stayed before. It made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing. They offer breakfast...

Great location near Central Park Time square great for Carnegie diner breakfast Good size room friendly staff
First time to stay at Manhattan Club hotel, but it was lovely stay and quite reasonable in NYC! Room: very spacious and provides a kitchen which is very convent to eat inside a room! Room temperature of our room was low and we felt a bit cold inside our room 🥶! Looks like a heatingsysten is old so I wasn’t able to set the temperature in our room. Amenities: they only provided minimum amenities…but...
Our child was going to a Carnegie Hall performance, and this hotel's location was unbeatable. The concert hall was right outside the door, and various Broadway theaters, Times Square, and numerous restaurants were all within walking distance. The subway station was also nearby. The room was huge. For this price, you'd probably only find one hotel in the heart of Manhattan with such a spacious room...
The location is good, right on 56th Street, within walking distance of Times Square and Central Park. There are fast food restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel does not provide slippers. The room is quite large; for the price and size, it's pretty good.
I stayed here again because of its convenience – my child works right across the street from Carnegie Hall. The hotel insisted I change rooms, and to my surprise, I got a newer suite. However, there were cockroaches. After complaining to the front desk, I received three breakfast vouchers. I also forgot to tip the housekeeping staff, which made me feel very bad! I'll be choosing this hotel more often...
Great experience! It is really rare to find such a large room at a reasonable price in Manhattan, where every inch of land is valuable! Recommended to everyone! Will stay here again when visiting New York!

This was a great hotel near Times Square. I'll definitely use it again. Thank you for the wonderful stay! I highly recommend this hotel.
Excellent stay, friendly staffs, quick check-in. Room is clean.
The hotel's location is great, close to Penn Station, but everything else is pretty mediocre. Even after specifically asking for housekeeping, our room wasn't cleaned, which is really disappointing for the price.
Location was everything for me Loved it
I paid USD 200 as a deposit. After checkout, USD 42.20 was charged without any prior notice. I called the hotel to confirm, and I was told that this amount had already been included in the payment made via Trip.com and that it would be refunded. However, it has now been one week since checkout, and the refund has not been processed as of today…
Clean room with incredible city views. Central hotel and the staff were excellent. We would definitely come back, we slept really well!

Great hotel. I love the Y2K aesthetic. They really commit to the style. Staff was very nice and helpful. Baggage hold was great. Only complaint was that there is no dedicated fan/vent that you can turn on in in the bathroom area. The bathroom in our room was just a sliding glass door that wouldn't close all the way, so not much privacy. Other than that I loved it.
Great Location! You are 2-3 blocks from times square and major Broadway theatres. Lots of places to eat and have a drink. Plus the adjacent store is a liquor store. The area is busy but not excessively busy its a great hotel in general. The hotel breakfast is ~$20 a person, but its a hot breakfast with a decent selection. Well staffed too. Rooms are nice and look like the photos there is some noise...
Let's overlook the resort fee unexpectedly charged to my bill upon arrival at the hotel, which was cunningly concealed in the booking, leading me to believe I would pay a specific amount that turned out not to be the case. The hotel itself is absolutely impeccable, the rooms are brand new and meticulously maintained. Room service is excellent; although the concierge could be a bit more cheerful and...
Expensive but good hotel. Purely. Freshly. Pastel linen is soft. Toilet with a wonderful view. True, the doors can be opened from the foot. Thin walls, you can hear people just walking down the hallway. The staff is just super friendly. You can ask for hot water from the bar. There is no kettle in the room. Shower, hair dryer. This is a very good hotel for a reasonable price.
Very good location. Center of Manhattan. Excellent Pharmacy nearby

Things we ok, good for the price.
This hotel boasts a fantastic location, super close to Times Square, with a Muji store nearby, and the subway station just a few minutes' walk away. What really stands out is that the hotel facilities are quite new, the soundproofing is good, and the shower in the bathroom is really comfortable.
This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in New York. - The soundproofing is excellent. - There's enough space to open two 30-inch suitcases (I had a twin bed room). - It's very close to Times Square. - A microwave is available for use. - They offer a welcome drink. - I was told the deposit would take up to 30 days to be refunded, but it came back very quickly.
Very convenient and satisfying for business trips.
The room was quite small and felt a bit cramped. The USB ports were also not working properly. I tried charging my device overnight, but it didn’t charge at all. Coz we need to take train, so chose this hotel for one night.
The hotel has an excellent location with easy access to the city center. It was clean; however, the facilities were limited. The elevator was not very convenient, and the service—especially for breakfast and hospitality—was quite weak. In addition, basic amenities such as cleaning supplies, slippers, and proper bathroom equipment were missing.

Very convenient location, very comfortable.
I had a great experience on my NYC Christmas trip 2025. My family of four stayed in one of the junior suites and it was pretty spacious by NYC standards. There is a writing desk and a pull out sofa that my daughter slept on...no complaints which is rare. We were on the 52nd St. side of the hotel and the noise was at acceptable levels. The blackout curtains work well. The big upside to this property...
It’s an old building, and the rooms are not exactly how they look in the photos. But, it’s good price for the amount of space that you get. Service is hit or miss depending on the staff that attends to you, and there’s no bell service which is fine. I particularly liked the spacious lounge they let guests use 24/7 on the 12th floor — just a good space to get together if you have a big group staying...
We were double charged by the hotel even though we prepaid with CTRIP. The hotel checked us in under an old reservation they said they cancelled to our travel agent prior to our stay and made us pay for that while still keeping our money from the CTRIP prepaid reservation. The management at the hotel is dishonest and won’t refund our money even after CTRIP explained everything. Don’t stay here
We had a wonderful stay. We arrived early and the hotel staff reorganised the rooms and allowed us to check in. Very helpful and accomodating staff. Even allowed us late check out.
My stay at the Courtyard New York was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The Ritz Central Park, what can I say? Everything is perfect especially when you tip every service person $10, better than the Plaza.
Good, clean and sanitary, worth recommending
The hotel corridor facilities are still a bit old, the interior decoration of the room is still good, the view is almost non-existent
I like this hotel very much. The interior and surrounding environment of the hotel are very good. I will stay again next time
The rooms in the new studio are pretty good

The property is new and it’s in a good location. But the service is quite bad. The worst Ritz Carlton I’ve stayed at in terms of service.
I stayed in this hotel for one night in June. The design of the hotel is very nice. The lobby is very modern but feel very luxurious and classy. Staff are very helpful and the service level is certainly up to standard of a hotel of this price.
Amazing stay and friendly staff
The subway is right next to the hotel, which is very convenient. You must go to the bar upstairs. The scenery and food are delicious. My favorite thing about the room is the toilet, which is really beautiful.
The room decoration is very ordinary, the only advantage is that it is a little new The service is hard to describe, very bad, I have never seen such inadequate service in the Ritz, no enthusiasm, no smile, cold face throughout the whole process, even the shower gel and shampoo provided can be misplaced, two bottles of shower gel but no shampoo, I called and waited for a long time before it was delivered...
When I checked in, the hotel front desk said my credit card couldn't be used! Later I found out that there was a problem with the hotel check-in system! I had to wait for a full hour and a half. When I entered the room, I found chocolate on the floor that had not been cleaned up. The rooms provided are also corner irregular rooms. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I called the hotel to complain. Someone...

A bit old, but very charming, and the service was just right.
Although the space is quite old, it still has a rich cultural heritage. It's very convenient to get to Central Park.
The location was convenient, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were warm and polite, exceeding my expectations.
During my trip to New York, I stayed at the Peninsula Hotel for three days. I chose it because it's located on the Hong Kong Peninsula and has a great location. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it, even though a few people and incidents affected the overall experience. I especially want to thank Ms. Qi at the front desk; she made us feel so welcome in a foreign land. I wish her all the best!
Among the three equally well-known five-star hotels of similar price that I stayed in during my visit to New York, the other two were far from five-star in quality and were complete rip-offs. Only the Peninsula Hotel was worthy of its reputation - the rooms were spacious, sophisticated, elegant, and artistic, the facilities were smart and modern, and both the front desk and room service were great
We spent our spring break with our two young girls at this location and everything was excellent. Thank you everyone who provided outstanding service! Our room was just wonderful. We plan on coming back soon!

The environment is very grand and comfortable, with excellent chocolate available for free enjoyment. This might be because Christmas is approaching.
Everything meets five-star standards. Advantages: Breakfast room service offers a selection of Eastern specialties, including excellent congee and shrimp dumplings. Delivery is also fast. Disadvantages: Aside from a small restaurant in the lobby, no other restaurants were found. The hotel shares a building with a department store, which is quite ordinary. The room change was quick. After upgrading to a suite, it was very good. There were many gifts and the attitude was very sincere.

Conveniently located with bus and subway access nearby, and a supermarket right across the street.
The location is excellent and convenient; although the hotel is old, it has a distinctly New York feel. The bed is large and comfortable, and the view from the room window is beautiful. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
The room was large and clean. The service was friendly and the facilities were relatively new.
The rooms are small but well-equipped and clean. The location is excellent, great for shopping and strolling. This is a nearly century-old establishment, offering an experience of old-style New York hotel.
The hotel has a vintage feel; although the layout and facilities aren't very modern, it's a great choice for those who want to experience a classic American old-brand hotel. 👍🏻 The staff were very polite and greeted us proactively. The suite we booked even came with a fully equipped kitchen, which was very convenient!
The environment is very safe, with several supermarkets across the street. The subway station is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel, making it very convenient to get there from the train station. The Metro and Times Square are a 30-minute walk away.

I was traveling solo and became very sick during my trip in NYC. Luckily, many hotel staff members helped me and kindly gave me hot tea. I am truly grateful for their support and kindness.
You can see that the room has been around for a while, but it’s been taken care of properly. It was tidy, fresh, and didn’t have that worn-out feeling some older places do. It felt looked after, which made a big difference.
Great location, very convenient for shopping, close to Times Square, right next to Broadway, and there are many good restaurants nearby. The room was clean and the service was good! 👍
Great location for Broadway musicals, and food options Good customer service, and housecleaning is proactive. But Wi-Fi is very slow.

While the hotel seemed alright on the surface, the overall experience was terrible. It's located right by the road, and at night, it functions as a major garbage collection point, with garbage trucks rumbling loudly all night long. The location is good, it is quiet in a busy city, the hotel facilities are also OK, the breakfast environment downstairs is quite good, but it is expensive. The hotel's location is great, but the so-called 'view room' was really disappointing. The cleanliness was comparable to a 'Quanji Hotel' (a mid-range chain in China), but the price was 20 times higher! We booked an Executive Room for Christmas, and the ridiculous part is it was 12,500 a night on weekends – absolutely insane. Good thing the executive lounge was open all day, so breakfast, lunch, and...
This was my first stay at The Langham Hotel, and it was by far the best among all the hotels I booked for this trip. The cleanliness and service were exceptional.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Empire State Building, making it easy to get around. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. The room was well-equipped with a Miele washer and dryer, and the bathroom featured luxurious Diptyque toiletries. I also tried the second-floor restaurant; it was decent overall, with good service.
I specifically booked a luxury city view room, but the view was so restricted it felt like I was looking out from a cage, which made the room feel incredibly claustrophobic. Additionally, the facilities were very outdated.
The rooms were clean, the ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. However, a word of caution: always carefully double-check your itemized bill when paying at the restaurant. We've encountered multiple instances of incorrect charges and billing errors. I hope this issue gets proper attention.
The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable.

The hotel's location is excellent, and the interior environment is quite good for a hotel in old Manhattan. It will definitely be my first choice for future business trips.
Super close to the unmissable attractions (up to 30mins away) and subway stations. So consider it if you have few days in the city. My room had a nice view to Empire State, which was a plus. I must say the location is ideal as within walking minutes to subway and airport bus. Generally ok with hotel service standards, recommended for short stays in NYC.
The location is really convenient! There are plenty of restaurants nearby, catering to both Chinese and Western tastes. The subway is right around the corner, with multiple lines accessible. Times Square is also just a few hundred meters away. However, I'm not sure why they charged a $20 deposit that was never refunded.
For Manhattan, this hotel is in a decent location and it's convenient for getting around.
Stayed here many times and it’s a great hotel in a fantastic location. Ran into an extremely rude front desk staff member though who kept hanging up on my calls to the front desk. I understand it gets busy but no response for over an hour is a safety issue.
Super convenient location because we were in the city mainly for a Broadway show just two blocks away, and proximity to the Port Authority bus stop was also a huge plus. Only question mark would be how housekeeping didn’t come in to clear our garbage even though we were there for two nights and having it piled up wasn’t pleasant. Standard service that you would expect from most hotels in America. The air conditioning does not work well in the rooms, it was hot and stuffy. The service and staff were great as well as the location, however, the rooms are very worn out.
