No fridge and mircowave in the room is quite inconvinent. The room is not big.

My only complaint is that I was disappointed that there was no microwave nor refrigerator in the room so seeing that New York is really high every meal that we purchased we were not able to bring back leftovers because there was nowhere to store it nor reheat it for safe consumption.

Our child was going to a Carnegie Hall performance, and this hotel's location was unbeatable. The location is good, right on 56th Street, within walking distance of Times Square and Central Park. There are fast food restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The hotel does not provide slippers. The room is quite large; for the price and size, it's pretty good.

I stayed here again because of its convenience – my child works right across the street from Carnegie Hall. The hotel insisted I change rooms, and to my surprise, I got a newer suite. However, there were cockroaches. After complaining to the front desk, I received three breakfast vouchers. I also forgot to tip the housekeeping staff, which made me feel very bad! The hotel's location is great, close to Penn Station, but everything else is pretty mediocre. Even after specifically asking for housekeeping, our room wasn't cleaned, which is really disappointing for the price.

Great hotel. I love the Y2K aesthetic. They really commit to the style. Staff was very nice and helpful. Baggage hold was great. Only complaint was that there is no dedicated fan/vent that you can turn on in in the bathroom area. The bathroom in our room was just a sliding glass door that wouldn't close all the way, so not much privacy. Other than that I loved it.

Great Location! You are 2-3 blocks from times square and major Broadway theatres. Lots of places to eat and have a drink. Plus the adjacent store is a liquor store. Expensive but good hotel. Purely. Freshly. Pastel linen is soft. Toilet with a wonderful view. True, the doors can be opened from the foot. Thin walls, you can hear people just walking down the hallway. The staff is just super friendly. You can ask for hot water from the bar. There is no kettle in the room. Shower, hair dryer. This is a very good hotel for a reasonable price.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, super close to Times Square, with a Muji store nearby, and the subway station just a few minutes' walk away. What really stands out is that the hotel facilities are quite new, the soundproofing is good, and the shower in the bathroom is really comfortable.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at in New York. - The soundproofing is excellent. - There's enough space to open two 30-inch suitcases (I had a twin bed room). - It's very close to Times Square. - A microwave is available for use. - They offer a welcome drink. - I was told the deposit would take up to 30 days to be refunded, but it came back very quickly.

Very convenient and satisfying for business trips.

The room was quite small and felt a bit cramped. The USB ports were also not working properly. I tried charging my device overnight, but it didn’t charge at all. Coz we need to take train, so chose this hotel for one night.

The hotel has an excellent location with easy access to the city center. It was clean; however, the facilities were limited. The elevator was not very convenient, and the service—especially for breakfast and hospitality—was quite weak. It’s an old building, and the rooms are not exactly how they look in the photos. But, it’s good price for the amount of space that you get. Service is hit or miss depending on the staff that attends to you, and there’s no bell service which is fine. We were double charged by the hotel even though we prepaid with CTRIP. The hotel checked us in under an old reservation they said they cancelled to our travel agent prior to our stay and made us pay for that while still keeping our money from the CTRIP prepaid reservation. The management at the hotel is dishonest and won’t refund our money even after CTRIP explained everything. Don’t stay here

I stayed in this hotel for one night in June. The design of the hotel is very nice. The lobby is very modern but feel very luxurious and classy. Staff are very helpful and the service level is certainly up to standard of a hotel of this price.

During my trip to New York, I stayed at the Peninsula Hotel for three days. I chose it because it's located on the Hong Kong Peninsula and has a great location. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth it, even though a few people and incidents affected the overall experience. I especially want to thank Ms. Qi at the front desk; she made us feel so welcome in a foreign land. I wish her all the best!

Among the three equally well-known five-star hotels of similar price that I stayed in during my visit to New York, the other two were far from five-star in quality and were complete rip-offs. Only the Peninsula Hotel was worthy of its reputation - the rooms were spacious, sophisticated, elegant, and artistic, the facilities were smart and modern, and both the front desk and room service were great

I was traveling solo and became very sick during my trip in NYC. Luckily, many hotel staff members helped me and kindly gave me hot tea. I am truly grateful for their support and kindness.

You can see that the room has been around for a while, but it’s been taken care of properly. It was tidy, fresh, and didn’t have that worn-out feeling some older places do. It felt looked after, which made a big difference.

This was my first stay at The Langham Hotel, and it was by far the best among all the hotels I booked for this trip. The cleanliness and service were exceptional.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Empire State Building, making it easy to get around. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. The room was well-equipped with a Miele washer and dryer, and the bathroom featured luxurious Diptyque toiletries. I also tried the second-floor restaurant; it was decent overall, with good service.

I specifically booked a luxury city view room, but the view was so restricted it felt like I was looking out from a cage, which made the room feel incredibly claustrophobic. Additionally, the facilities were very outdated.

The hotel's location is good, with plenty of delicious food and great Asian restaurants nearby. Although the room is a bit small, it's sufficient for three people. Standard service that you would expect from most hotels in America. The air conditioning does not work well in the rooms, it was hot and stuffy. The hotel does provide a fan (upon request) but it did not help much. Rooms look quite tired. Nobody picks up the phone at the front desk. Location was good.

My partner and I stayed in the bunk room for a night and it was great! The bed was so comfortable and the blankets were clean and soft. Our room stayed at the perfect temp even though it was 10° outside!
