New York, 246 Spring Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Really nice and elegant hotel and the room in dining service is really cool!
The hotel style leans towards Residences, but there is still a gap compared to others luxury hotels.
I looked a lot online and saw that various hotels had bad reviews, so I just picked one at random. I didn't expect it to be a pleasant surprise. The front is not big, but the staff are very enthusiastic when I go in. The room is much larger than I expected, and there is a separate sink and a sofa, which is suitable for family travel. The room is cleaned every day, and chocolates that can help you sleep...
Along the Hudson River, it is a piece of pure land in the bustling city, with vast landscape and water views. Whether it is foggy or full of colorful clouds, it can make you relax, which is great!
One of the best hotel in New York , very helpful and friendly staff. Definitely come back again
Perfect, definitely choose a room overlooking the river

New York, 23 Lexington Ave (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It was very clean and tidy. The location was optimal and right in the middle of the city. Perfect for all types of stays.
Very good location. Lexington and 23 rd. Quiet area mid town. Safe. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The cafe downstairs - Smile to go had good coffee and simple breakfast menu that was tasty and affordable. Folded egg muffin was delicious.
I was able to stay joyfully while helping my son settle into college. I would like to come back to this freehand hotel when I visit New York again.
Housekeeping ladies were very helpful, good experience.
It wasn’t my first stay at Freehand. The location is 10/10, same with service and overall experience. It’s my go-to option every time I’m in the city.
Positive: The staff is very nice and friendly and it’s well located Negative: the rooms are quite small. We found it absurd that we had to pay 40 USD per night for water and WiFi.

I really like Manhattan, so I feel bad giving this hotel a low rating. However, it seems like they've divided too many rooms to maximize profits, making the hallways extremely narrow. The soundproofing between rooms is non-existent; I could clearly hear normal everyday sounds from the next room, like people chatting or using the restroom. The hotel seems to do good business, even accommodating airline...
Excellent location, great view, nice terrace.
it was great to visit new york city. location was great but far from downtown manhattan, but you can easily get to there by metro next to the hotel. room was clean, easy check in easy check out
I do love this hotel so much! It’s extremely comfortable and it’s a great location
The hotel is pretty nice, small but definitely everything you need. The only problem we found out was that we had to pay for a “facilities fee” which i believe trip.com needs to include in the rate of the hotel or it seems deceiving the rates.
we were staying there for 3 nights for christmast 2024, the front desk was really good and helpfull but did not supported with their room service. every morning i asked them to clean the room, but nothing.. no one taking care and come to room for cleaning. i reminded all the time the fron desk, but was still the same, with the expensive rate in chirstmas, this hotel is offer standard budget hotel...

First: the staff of the Empire Hotel were wonderful. Everyone in all types of positions- friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and possessing a great sense of humor. Our room was fine, but a bit small and tired. Things just seemed a bit worn out. However the bed was very comfortable, and plenty of hot water. The bathroom was tiny. I was excited to see a makeup mirror affixed to the wall, but the lighting...
We were really pleased with this hotel. The location is perfect if you intend to use the subway. We didn't go to Lincoln Center but it's right across the street. The front desk is very helpful. I had a room with some problems and they found me a different room that was really nice. The bar upstairs has a great view, great drinks and great small bites. We'll be back.
Location, entrance, hall and reception 5* Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the rooms is not that good. Sometimes a powerful vacuum cleaner would help clean the rooms. There is no ventilation in the rooms and the air conditioning works intermittently and is very noisy. In our case, we managed to check in only after 4 p.m., even though we arrived around 1 p.m. and the receptionist promised that maybe...
I think we have found our home in the city. The Empire was everything we wanted while spending a week in NYC. For a week's stay, we needed a suite and the room was perfect. We had one of the King Corner Suites and we couldn't have had a better room. The view on 2 sides was terrific - a view up Broadway and Columbus on one side, and Lincoln Center right outside our other 2 windows. And of course there...
The hotel is in a prime location, clean for the most part, close to a lot of stores and food options. Decent price for rooms a night. No coffee or tea machines in the rooms or options for either at the hotel. Only basic channels to watch on the television and service are not compatible with mirroring your devices or streaming app features. There is no streaming app feature at all. Staff are friendly...

Staff were very accomodating and looked after my family well during our stay. Nothing was too difficult for them.
I already left them a review I was placed in a room next to a storage closet. they asked what they can do to help and then they never responded. so probably fluff. also mix up with the bills. and my credits! not vip experience
Property is very nice. Our bathroom was small. We had water issues and the service was quickly resolved.
Every time we travel to NYC we stay here. Staff and location are perfect. Everything is walkable and safe. Lobby bar is a hoot and the breakfast is excellent. Rooms are a good size, clean and upscale.
Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Best attitudes exceptional food.

Great Location. Enjoyed nice breakfast.
The room was clean but for 4 adults it could be a bit narrow. There were 2 small courtesy water bottles and 3 pods of complementary coffee in the room which was nice. However being 4 people, they could have left one bottle for each. We had some water issues and management was very friendly and solved it quickly so it was appreciated
The hotel is nice and convenient. The service is good, room is spacious and clean. We will book this again
Wonderful hotel, perfectly located and well-connected to the subway. It's clean, and the staff is incredibly professional. The breakfasts are exceptional compared to other hotels in the USA.
The room and location were excellent for the price, and overall we had a good stay. Still, there are a few things that could be improved. My partner and I explored the city late into the evenings and tried to sleep in most mornings, but the room doors were extremely loud when other guests came and went. I woke up with each one, so earplugs are definitely necessary. There’s also no room service for...
Great location! Service was actually very good. My only ding is that I wish they replenished the 2 complimentary water bottles each day, rather than never. Seems like a very cheap investment on the hotel's part, which customers would greatly appreciate, particularly on (hot) summer visits! The buffet breakfast, if you purchase it, was good and cheaper than eating out. The grab-n-go store had a good...

Absolutely perfect stay from start to finish! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, the rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, and the amenities were top-notch.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Excellent Stay I had a truly wonderful stay at Sofitel New York and would not hesitate to return. Excellent staff service all through (especially in the Berks Bar), very clean room. We felt very well taken care off. Happy to have been here with my wife and kids.
We loved the Omni Berkshire!! Everything from check in to check out was outstanding! Every staff member was kind and helpful and the room was beautiful!! Can’t wait to come back!!!
Room was clean, Nice size bathroom, and quiet. The hotel is in the perfect location for enjoying 5th Ave activities! Thank you!
The service was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean but there is no coffee, tea, minibar or food amenities in the room at all. For the expensive price, it's shocking there isn't more to make you feel more at home. They do offer a free drink but don't tell you there is nothing in the room.
The hotel boasts a superb location; Fifth Avenue is just a right turn away, and Madison Avenue is a left turn. It's two blocks from Rockefeller Center and about a 10-minute walk from Central Park. Despite its long history, the hotel is well-maintained, clean, and relatively quiet. The bathrooms are large. The rooms are small, but for Manhattan, they're quite spacious. Beautiful hotel with intriguing history and THE BEST staff!!
What an amazing experience staying in this magnificent hotel for the last night of a two week journey in the USA! My husband and I were delighted when we heard the hotel had reopened in the summer after many years of refurbishment, and that we were able to stay there during our visit to NYC. From the moment we arrived we knew we were in a special place. On checking in, Molly, gave us the warmest...
Newly renovated and fantastic. The hotel has staff from Singapore and Hong Kong who speak Mandarin and Cantonese, making it one of the most welcoming hotels for Chinese guests. Breakfast offers two restaurants to choose from, both with excellent food, including good Japanese cuisine. A top choice for anyone visiting New York.

The hotel is located near Wall Street and the Charging Bull, making its location absolutely fantastic. It's also really close to the Statue of Liberty ferry, surrounded by many popular photo ops. The front desk staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and they even helped us get a room with a great view.
Good hotel but it could do with some refurbs. Nice area in the snow too
The room itself is actually great value for money, but the facilities are basic. There's no paid drinking water in the room, and you have to go to the second floor to buy it, which is really inconvenient. Downstairs, there's a place to store luggage, but not overnight. The location is convenient; it's a 5-6 minute walk to the Charging Bull, and you can easily walk to the New York Stock Exchange and...
Great! The room was clean and tidy, and for this price in Manhattan, it's a real bargain. The location is excellent too, right next to the subway station. The only minor issue was the high floor, which meant a bit of a wait for the elevator, but overall, I highly recommend it.
Unexpectedly good, room was good, bed was excellent clean and very comfortable. In general was very good, the only thing that they should consider is at least give a complementary bottle of water when you arrive.
The room size was average, but the location was great, right in the Financial District, about 200 meters from the Charging Bull and Wall Street. Breakfast didn't have a huge variety, but it was clean, and the sausages were tasty, though I wouldn't want them every day. Early check-in required a $150 deposit. The elevators were a bit small and you had to wait, but that's normal for a building with so...

Really don't understand all the negative reviews on this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful. Hotel is in a awesome location , so close to everything. Rooms are comfortable and for being a block away from Time's Sq the rooms were quit. Staff was very friendly. Great spot and good service from hotel staff. Clean rooms.
Nice hotel situated perfectly The only thing I would say is not enough storage and hardly any amenities
Let's talk about the high-tech aspects. The day before check-in, you can select your preferred floor and room location through the Hilton app. I barely visited the front desk during my stay. Both check-in and check-out can be completed directly on your phone. You can get an electronic key card by opening the app, and unlock your room door just by holding your phone near it. The room's lighting and...
Great location and connectivity to key sights in the city. Room was clean, shower water temperature and pressure were amazing. Elevators were a little slow during peak hours, but everything else was great.
The Hilton New York is located in the heart of Manhattan, offering convenient access to public transportation with several subway stations within walking distance, making it easy to reach various city attractions and business centers. The room size is typical for hotels in downtown New York, with a standard layout and clean bedding, generally meeting accommodation needs. The hotel provides 24-hour...
Great location and a fantastic, modern hotel. Everything was very clean, and our room had excellent views over the city. We really enjoyed our stay overall. The only downside was the lifts — the queues were long and most of the time only one out of four seemed to be working. It would also be helpful if the £10 daily credit could roll over. The room was tiny, there wasn't even enough space for two suitcases. The sink had no counter space for toiletries, and the facilities were outdated. The location, however, was decent.
It was around Thanksgiving, and the line for check-in was incredibly long. Hotel facilities in the US are pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Breakfast was free, but they still charge for tips. But then again, it's Manhattan, so the location is absolutely fantastic.
Lift is not enough, wasting too much time for waiting lift especially tush hour
Overall, my stay at the hotel was pretty good. The room size was just right for a solo traveler, and the bedding was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable sleep. All the basic amenities in the room were fully equipped, perfect for daily use.
I came to New York alone for Thanksgiving break as a college student. Most hotels in NYC strictly require guests to be 21 or older to check in. After searching for a long time on Trip.com, I finally found this hotel (not a hostel) that allows 18+ guests to check in by themselves. I even had Trip.com customer service confirm it with the hotel, which was a huge help! The location is great, just a short...

Very disappointed I recently stayed at the 1 Hotel in New York, and while the staff were absolutely wonderful — kind, polite, and very professional — the property itself was a huge disappointment. Overall, Element Times Square West was a very good base for my 16‑night business stay, and I would return if the rate is right next March or April. This place has a lot of charm. The decor and overall vibe is historic New York meets modern day. There is wallpaper around that calls to yesterday. The artwork in the room is cute. Stayed on the busiest weekend of the Christmas period and yet managed to get a reasonably priced room that was a good size for the 4 of us.
