The staff were all fantastic and like new friends.
Front desk, room service fix, doorman - each were divine.
I have to say that charging an amenity fee and there is no tea in the room ?????? Even Holiday Inn has tea in the room. I never would think to provide my own tea at a nice NYC hotel. There was no coffee in the room, either.
They did bring some up when we asked.
Such a cool hotel!!! The design and materials are amazing! The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive, and it is convenient to get to so many great places in the city. I would highly recommend it!
We checked in very late & Marco at the front desk was kind, helpful and accommodating. Will def stay again!
The staff was extremely welcoming at check in, glsss of champagne to kick off your stay, clean and fun atmosphere, great food, live music and just a wonderful hotel in NYC,
We had a great stay! The rooms are a great size for NYC and the lobby was amazing and so festive for the holidays. The service was outstanding too! We can’t wait to come back next year!
I loved the stay here. The room was big and nicely decorated. The bar was very nice and great food and drinks. I would absolutely come back here again.

It is absolutely impossible to book a normal room within 3000 in New York. In order to be closer to the metropolis, I booked a B&B and was scared to death when I entered. I couldn't stay there for a moment. Although the landlord was very nice, I temporarily found the nearest Courtyard by Marriott. Although I was mentally prepared, I was still scared. The air conditioner in the first room was as loud...
The room was comfortable, and the service was decent. It's a quiet area, and transportation is quite convenient with a bus stop right outside and the subway within two blocks. For Manhattan's Upper East Side, this hotel offers great value for money.
Great location. The only downside was that there was only one elevator available, but that was for good reasons; they were renovating part of the hotel.
The location is OK and convenient for travel
Mainly for the convenience of travel
After visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the hotel
The Upper East Side environment is relatively safe
The room is small, and I asked the front desk for a room with a good view
But when I moved in, I found that it was next to the linen room, and there was nothing to see.
The waiter opened and closed the door early in the...
The hotel itself does not have breakfast, which is different from what Ctrip described. It is understandable that the land is very expensive in the Upper East District. Ctrip's prices are somewhat deceptive. There is no need to book a breakfast-included package.

The hotel's location was perfect, right next to Times Square. It was nice to be able to walk around the city. The breakfast was also decent.
Location is great and the room itself has no issue but there are no common ammenites unless you ask
The staff was very kind, but the hotel was a little old and not very clean. But overall I was satisfied.
Wonderful location, very close to Times Square and subway on the corners.
Old hotel, with carpet, but clean.
Breakfast was lacking, with limited items to choose from and items that were out of stock.
Hotels of this level in New York are basically similar. There is nothing special to complain about, nor is there anything particularly outstanding. The location is pretty good and you can still choose to stay if the price is right.
Nice hotel in a convenient location of Times Square Close proximity to 2 subway stations. Amenities is so so… no slippers in the room

Excellent property. Reasonably priced for the top level service and comfort you get. Food was good. The front desk and concierge staffs are top notch. Overall, a 10 rating from me. I will definitely return.
The Mark
The Mark is nice but it’s also one of the most expensive 5 star hotels, Manhattan. The problem is it’s pretty plain compared to the other hotels in the area not much stood out. I will say, their service and hospitality was great. It’s one of the few hotels that acknowledged my ******* status and honored my discounts and late check out. The in room dining was about the same as the peninsula...
I ordered breakfast in the restaurant, and the bread and bacon were delicious. Overall, the service was average. The black girl at the front desk was arrogant, while the white girl was more friendly. The room was average. The bathroom was large. Overall, it was average. I'm curious about the ratings, but I paid for them. I wouldn't stay here again.
Hotel rooms very comfortable and bathrooms generous but dining room and food was very disappointing . You cannot compare the dining room decorations and quality and choice of food and service to the Carlyle Hotel across the street where we usually stay while in Manhattan. I would never go back to the Mark highly overrated !
I stayed at the hotel for four nights and was very satisfied. I arrived at 2 AM, and the doorman was very welcoming, carrying my luggage to my room and explaining the various services available. We ordered food twice and it was delivered to my room; both dishes were delicious. Highly recommended!
The staff are very friendly and polite, Breakfast is fabulous, the rooms very comfortable , good gym, great shopping near by! We love it

The Andaz hotel in Midtown New York was wonderful! The beds were so comfy, The staff was great and we loved the location across from the NY Library and Bryant Park!!
Great location. Walking distance to all attractions. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
Hotel is in a great location right on 5th avenue, across from the Library and close to shopping. The room itself was ok. The carpet was dirty in the bedroom and the black out shades had two sections with a 6 inch gap in between which allowed a ton of light in waking us up very early. The staff at the front desk was great but others were not as nice. I was literally hung up on by one staff member...
The staff were really kind, and above all, the room was very fancy and clean.
The limo service was also very satisfying.
Loved the location and cleanliness of the property. Very modern decor with great ambiance. Highly recommend staying at this hotel!
GREAT location. Variable smells in the lobby (trash wafting in?)
Weird/annoying that bathroom for lobby is locked up on 2nd floor.
minus 1 star b/c it said "free drinks and snacks" but it was free drink (water) and snack (1 chocolate bar) But I paid for 5 nights, I should get 5 drinks and 5 snacks
Also, I'm allergic to eucalyptus and they didn't have other options for soap, lotion, etc except baby...

I booked a room at the Ameritania Hotel at Times Square because it was close to City Center where I attend dance concerts frequently. It was a good place for an overnight stay before heading back home the next morning. I booked a full bed room. The price for one night was great, $167.82 with all fees and taxes included. The room was very small which was not a problem for me as I was not looking for...
My wife & I stayed 14 nights at the Ameritania through the snow storm period, we were very comfortable througout the cold nights as heating in the room worked well. The staff were very helpful & polite, including security personnel & the cleaning staff ☺️. The room was small as I expected, but definitely satisfied our needs. Bathroom was very clean & kept this way by the cleaning staff, thank you....
Although it has been over a month since my wife and I stayed at the Ameritania between Dec 2nd through the 5th, I wanted to share with you how amazing your staff were. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant from the doormen to the maid services. As tourists in your wonderful city, they were as much our guides as anyone. Secondly, as I travel for work quite a bit, this was a top notch room with a...
Best price for this location. We could walk to Central Park, Rockefeller & Broadway. Subway was nearby too. If you can overlook rude service and limited amenities, ask for a room facing inside (construction noise from bldg across the street on weekdays starts at 8am, plus the usual NYC blaring sirens/horns until wee hours - we were originally 10th floor & it did not make a difference). Receptionist...
The staff were helpful and friendly, my room was clean, quiet. Location, for my activities, could not have been better. Price: most reasonable for a Manhattan hotel of this quality. The only negative element was that the mattress on the bed was rather uneven (worn) and not the most comfortable.
What a great time we had for Thanksgiving. My husband was thrilled with how easy it was to unload our bags, park. Parking offers a discount for hotel guests. The hotel was clean, and the double room was bigger than expected. the beds were comfy. I'm not sure about the big chandelier in the room. My sons had to watch their heads. We loved staying at Hotel Park Ave. Checking in we were greeted with a glass of champagne and the staff took excellent care of us throughout our stay. What a lovely little hotel situated right between three subway stations and countless local restaurants with delicious food and fun vibes. Great location! We walked around the city all weekend and didn't mind the 20-30 min. walk to all the popular attractions - Grand Central Station, Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Times Square, Central Park, etc. - they were just a quick jaunt over to and up 5th Avenue. The rooms were smaller compared to hotels in any other city, but in New York City terms they were great. We had 4 ladies in a room...
This place is delightful. A boutique converted office building, it has modern European upscale charm. The service is INCREDIBLE, from check-in, to the complimentary house car, to the awareness of the type of guest they are serving. The location was perfect, central without being in an overly touristy location, we really felt like we were in a local neighbourhood. Next time we would normally stay in...
Great overnight stay at this centrally located hotel. Very friendly and welcoming check in experience. Room decor felt modern and inviting and had all the expected amenities. The size of the room was a little tight but I expect this is probably the case for all mid-range Manhattan hotels. Would definitely stay again.

One of the best NY city hotel experiences I've had for that price range! Midtown is always hectic but given that this is a stones throw away from Times Square the street is surprisingly calm & needless to say hyper convenient to walk/ subway/ uber to anywhere.
Very spacious room (for NY), immaculate bathroom with Malin & Goetz high end amenities, clean linen & AC/ heating. Can be noisy if you're on...
Great location. The room is compact with most things I need. There’s also ample seating area at the lobby with free water/coffee/tea which is greatly appreciated.
The location is very convenient because it is near Times Square and the bus stop. If it was next to Times Square, I thought it would be too noisy, but it was very quiet and nice. And the front desk staff were very kind and listened to all our requests. They even brought us a kettle and a microwave, so we had a very comfortable stay. There is a gym in the basement, so it is good for working out, and...
The perfect hotel in New York. The location its really good for visit all the city. The subway its near. Near the hotel there are fastfood, restaurant, shop... everything you need.
The room is not big but very clean, the air conditioning is powerful and the heating is sufficient. It is an old-fashioned hotel, and the lobby downstairs is very beautiful.
It is worth mentioning that the aunt at the front desk is very enthusiastic, and hot water and coffee are always available downstairs, which is really helpful in the cold winter.
This hotel was a great experience for a first-time guest like me. The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to Ricardo’s friendly explanations. What impressed me the most was the personalized and interactive check-in process. The hotel’s location was convenient, with everything a tourist would need within walking distance. Just finished a fantastic stay at Archer Hotel New York and it's easily one of my favorite Midtown spots — full 5 stars from me!
The location is unbeatable (5 stars): at 45 W 38th St (between 5th and 6th Aves), you're right in the Garment District heart — steps from Bryant Park, a quick walk to the Empire State Building, Times Square, 5th Avenue shopping, Herald Square, and major subways (B/D/F/M,...
We stayed here for a long girls weekend. from the moment we walked in, we LOVED it. The staff was so friendly and kind. Notably, Brian, was incredible. He was so attentive and always provided a warm welcome.

We had a great stay at The Archer. The customer service really stood out - everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Joseph at the concierge desk. What really makes this one of the best hotels that I have stayed at out of the 237 that I have been in over the last 10 years or so is the staff.

The room is spacious and clean. It’s definitely worth it for the price, especially it's located in the Manhattan.
The hotel in a good location, but I think they really need to work to add some amenities to the room (like coffee machine and trash ban to a bathroom
**** stain on the toilet as we walked in, door doesnt lock. Have to slam the front door for it to close. Lift got stuck every single day
The views are amazing, and the location is excellent. Downstairs, you'll find the 1 train, which takes about 30 minutes to Times Square. The Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and the Charging Bull are all within walking distance. I highly recommend it.
I can accept that you don't provide the brush abd tooth paste, but what the hell you don't provide slipper ??? == this made me a lot of inconvenient

Lovely hotel, excellent location near to attractions, subways, restaurants, shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a very good size and would have been a perfect 10/10 but unfortunately no views at all from the windows. There was a mini bar in the room which we didn't use. The weather was extremely cold but the hotel and our room was lovely and warm. Will definitely stay here again.
The Michelangelo Hotel is a nice traditional hotel. It’s clean comfortable and quiet. Staff are very helpful and nice. We enjoyed our stay there.
Cons: Noisy. During Thanksgiving, the noise from the street continued until midnight.
Pros: Very large rooms, good value for money, close to Times Square, subway station, and Broadway theaters.
Note: There is an extra hotel charge of approximately $40 per day, but this can be deducted from your purchase at the hotel bar for around $10.
This was my second stay. The location is great, very convenient for getting around; Fifth Avenue, Central Park, and Times Square are all within walking distance. The concierge kept trying to sell us on Marriot vouchers. They did not offer to help us with our experience, they were trying to sell me more. I felt hounded by staff upon entering and exiting hotel every time. That was annoying. The room and facilities were great
The gentleman manager upon check in was not very professional nor well informed. Not friendly staff upon checkin.
Overall loved the property. Staff was incredibly nice. The concierge can be overwhelming when you first walk through the door, but all it takes is to tell them you're not interested in a sales pitch and it's not a hassle. Very clean room. They had a concierge service via text that reached out shortly after we arrived and answered all my questions, often in just 10-20 minutes after texting. The front desk staff was also attentive and helpful. Would recommend and stay again!
I love the sack breakfast but I didn't care for the apple every day. Room was clean and cozy. Lobby is always packed with people!! Hard to find a seat to have a quick breakfast in the lobby. I liked the self-fill water stations. All hotels should do this! Loved the water pressure in the shower but the Hoxton should consider low flow faucets to be more eco friendly.
Lovely place. Awkwardly located check in desk for hotel. Restaurant “entrance” mostly vacant. Menu with a broader selection of foods is preferred. Excellent coffee bar and pastries. Comfortable bar and lounge.
Gorgeous NYC views, but the room was just too small to move around or even stow personal belongings. The thermostat was not working properly. Despite adjusting it by several degrees, the temperature only moved up one degree in several hours. The shower was also not working properly. It had a loose knob that seemed like it might fall off and made it difficult to adjust the water temperature. Also, no...

Breakfast?
Clean, very comfortable, staff wonderful and the location was great for Central Park and the subway and upmarket shopping. The only drawback was this hotel doesn’t have any breakfast or hotel bar facilities. We had to walk a fair way to get breakfast that suited our tastes.
The place is a excellent option to a tradition hotel. Great location and amazing value. My feeling a 5 star experience
First off, the staff was first class. From the front desk people to the doormen, they were always willing to help and always with a smile. The hotel is also very clean and the room was perfect. The location of the hotel also couldn’t be beat. So close to great restaurants and shopping. Close to Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and Broadway. Close to subway and easy to get taxis. The only slight negative...
Great place to stay in NYC
We loved our stay at the hotel! The room was roomy, nicely appointed and the bathroom was nicely arranged and sized. The staff was terrific and the services met our needs. In addition, the hotel is perfectly located and was only a block from both subway stations that gave us service to everywhere we wanted to go. This will be the only hotel we stay at in NYC.
Excellent view of the city and Central Park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional!
