This hotel, newly opened in 2025, boasts very tasteful decor and is impeccably clean. The front desk staff speak fluent English and provide excellent service. The breakfast spread was the most extensive I've encountered during my trip to Uzbekistan. The location is also quite good, just a 20-minute walk from Registan Square. Highly recommend!

This hotel feels more like a hostel than a hotel. The hallways smell of old cigarettes (but the room didn't), and the rooms are very bare bones. Located in city area, about 10min by car from the airport. On foot about 5min walk away there is a small market which sells fruits and groceries. There are eatery about 15min walk away from the hotel as well. Opposite is the Russian Orthodox Church Cathedral Room is big and clean with modern amenities . Staff are professional and helpful. Wifi speed is decent but not very fast.

Location is excellent as it is right in the city, next to the train station and metro station, and is convenient to go anywhere around town. Rooms are a bit old and design-wise not the most user friendly. Some of the hotel staff are also quite curt (and I don't think it's the language barrier). I guess unless you're Chinese, you probably won't be too fond of this hotel as it feels like you're in Shenzhen...

We stayed for a wedding. It’s an okay hotel, beds rock hard, but that seems usual for Uzbekistan. I advise you to examine your room before agreeing, especially the bathrooms. Stayed at this hotel in April 2025. Overall, I liked everything. But there is almost nothing to eat for breakfast. I didn't immediately understand that you can call the cook and they will make you an omelette or fried eggs.

Nice small hotel now called Wellness hotel & spa. Good freshly furnished rooms with different room sizes available. This a very good and high-quality hotel, even by Western standards. I was visiting from Europe and was positively surprised by how clean and modern the rooms were. The reception employees speak English and payment by card was not a problem. The breakfast was also good and there were many different choices at the buffet.

Pros - location is perfect for seeing all the sites in Khiva. Staff spoke good English and were extremely helpful. Rooftop terrace is perfect place to have a drink. Cons - Breakfast was poor. Plumbing is ineffective guests are asked not to put paper down toilet but in bin next to toilet as it easily gets blocked. Access to rooftop terrace is by winding stairs which would be difficult for infirm.
