Hotel Starc by Pierre & Vacances Premium in Andorra La Vella

Miguel at reception provided excellent service both before and during our stay. When our travel plans changed last minute, he was extremely helpful and accommodating via email, efficiently organising an extra night for us without any stress. In person, he was equally welcoming and professional as part of the reception team, which made a great first impression.

The accommodation in terms of the room itself was absolutely fine, not necessarily a modern feel to the room, a little dated in terms of interior however was clean. It was disappointing that the TV was not a smart TV so we couldn’t stream Netflix and watch Christmas movies which we usually do on our Christmas ski holidays.

After a couple of days and interactions with hotel staff we did feel it was important to share some constructive feedback regarding the restaurant experience in the spirit of helping the hotel maintain and improve its standards.

Each evening there seemed to be ongoing confusion around the half-board arrangement. While some members of staff were consistently polite, welcoming, and attentive in helping us, we unfortunately found the approach of some staff (particularly a younger male of staff) to be quite abrupt and, at times, rude. Being greeted with questions such as “What are you here for?” or “What do you want?” does not align with the level of service expected in a hotel and can feel uncomfortable as a guest.

This did unfortunately impact our dining experience and was very distasteful.

The food itself was enjoyable, however the dessert options remained the same every evening (chocolate mousse or carrot cake). Some variation here would have enhanced the dining experience further, especially for guests staying multiple nights. Also at Christmas you would have expected a little variation of the menu but it was exactly same and did become boring.

We shared this feedback directly with the hotel as we genuinely believe that addressing these small service details could significantly improve guest satisfaction, reviews, and long-term customer retention.

Overall, Starc Hotel is well located and for the price we paid was comfortable. Due to the distasteful service we received, unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again.

We were just passing through for one day, and the experience was completely ruined. When we booked, we called in advance to ask if there was parking at the hotel, and if we could charge an electric car, and whether this would be a problem. We were told not to worry, everything was there. Upon arrival, we were told the parking lot was full and they had nowhere to park us (we had rented three rooms). In response to all my complaints, they said there was only a parking lot 200 meters away. We went with all our things to park there. There we were told, "Sorry, all the chargers are busy, find another place." And so on down the list. We spent a day trying to find parking. I don't recommend it to anyone.
