Aston Hotel in Andorra La Vella

I booked through Booking, which states the hotel offers parking. Technically it does, but not for free but through a deal with a parking garage next to the hotel for 24€(!) per 24 hours. Keep that in mind. As I only stayed for one night, it wasn’t a huge problem, but if I had booked more than a one night It would have become very expensive, very fast. There are a lots of hotels in Andorra and some offer better deals when it comes to parking. Which makes slightly more expensive hotels worth it in the long run.

For my stay: you get what you expect for this kind of money. I booked a room with a balcony, which was okay. Cleanliness is fine, bathroom is fine, beds are acceptable. Breakfast buffet was also what you expect. I read some reviews from people that expect a 5-star experience from a 3-star hotel. My experience is that you get exactly what you paid for.

Plus: wifi is excellent and very fast. Was able to stream a movie without any problem. A big plus for me, as Dutch carriers don’t include 4G/5G service in Andorra without additional costs.

Minus: upon arrival and departure there was no one at reception for at least 15 minutes. There is also no way to let the hotel know you are at reception. No bell, or anything which is pretty annoying. It is also a bit weird to let you choose an accesscode for your hotelroom within earshot of other arriving guests.

Perfect location! Right by the shopping street and bus station, easy to walk everywhere. The staff at the front desk were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but had everything we needed. Very happy with our stay. Would recommend.
