Cascade Hotel in Yerevan

We stayed for three nights, and unfortunately the experience was not satisfactory. The room was cold and the heater did not work adequately, making the stay uncomfortable, especially as we were unwell during this time. Additionally, there is an underground metro line running directly beneath the hotel, causing noticeable noise and vibration, which affected our rest. To make matters worse, at checkout we were charged for minibar items (a beer and water) that we did not consume. We did not use the minibar at all and instead repeatedly requested boiled water from reception, which they can verify. Despite explaining this, the charge was not removed, and we paid only to avoid further conflict. This combination of poor room comfort, noise disturbance, and an unpleasant checkout experience left us disappointed. I strongly recommend future guests check the minibar immediately upon arrival and ensure room facilities are fully functional before settling in.

Although the location and the price seemed right I had to book another hotel after just two hours stay because of the strong odor in my room’s bathroom. I won’t book this hotel in the future, and obviously do not recommend others either. Better spend more and get a decent hotel, lesson learned.

Yes the location is very good and close to a very nice part of Yerevan. We stayed 5 days. The room was comfortable, we asked to be on the fourth floor due that underneath the hotel passes the Metro, until 11 pm and believe me, the whole building rambles. One girl at reception was delightful but other people looks so serious and conspicuous behind a curtain right next to reception. The breakfast was strange, not real straight normal food, to accomodate your normal tourist, and the space for it is incredible small which makes it awkward to seat and flow when there are large groups of tourists. Thin walls you can hear everything next door. But the most annoying thing was that in 5 days they never cleaned our room. They changed the towels and that’s it. I could not believe it, but.... the moment we were paying it took a second for a young blond woman to fly up the room and check the stage of it. There was a glass with a crack that it seems my husband pushed at night, ( we didn’t noticed otherwise we would have said,) they charged us for it. After not even bothering for cleaning or changing our sheets. Really?
