1. Clean and spacious room (I booked the 1 bedroom apartment) 2. Amazing Spa (stayed from the 17th to the 20th of Dec, was not crowded) 3. Decent food 4. Hotel with great location to slopes, approx. 5min walk to main lift. Lovely rooms and a really good spa as well. Boot and ski room underneath for easy storage for the next day. Unfortunately food quality was disappointing in my opinion, and it gave me sickness which cut short my last ski day. However, aside from this no complaints on anything else.

My family and I stayed at the MPM Guinness Hotel in Bansko and we had an amazing experience. We had a 2 bed apartment which as a family we loved, the food was incredible and there was always so much variety and choice for all of us. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was a problem. We had wonderful views of the mountains from our balcony and the slopes were a short walk away. There was also a really useful minibus which took us to the slopes every morning. We also made good use of the swimming pool and sauna etc, which was great after a days ski-ing. We loved our stay so much that we are booking again for February 2026 and looking forward to staying in the same room.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast and evening meals both had lots of choice and were of a good quality. Staff were all friendly. The spa area was of a good standard, and much needed after a day on the slopes. Which were only a 5 /6 minute walk away. Close enough to all the night life but far enough away not to hear anything and be kept awake. If we came back to Bansko would definitely stay here again

Still decently priced, unlike the MPM Sport which was suddenly "upgraded" to 5-stars and almost doubled its prices over the course of one year. Very well situated, near Pirin St. and near the gondola (approx. 5 minutes walk) while a shuttle bus is also available every 15 minutes. The rooms are a bit dated but as others pointed out, they are clean (serviced daily) and well maintained. The reception staff are making a effort, both to accommodate guests and to be polite. We probably got an upgraded room which was a maisonette style apartment on the 5th floor, very very spacious. The room was well equipped with almost everything you'd expect. The beds were OK, nothing special. I read about other guests mentioning how they were charged for minibar items they didn't consume. Well it almost happened to us also. I believe the issue is that if they can't find the items where they're supposed to be, they think the item in question is not there. In any case, we straightened this out with the reception, no problem. Breakfast was decently varied and of average quality. In any case, you could find things to eat every morning. There's a quite large sitting area, so it seems unlikely that there'll be waiting to sit down. The ski room is very small with no real sitting space for putting on ski boots etc. It's also locked everyday, from 6pm till the next morning. Finally, because of the way the hotel is built, it is a bit noisy but nothing that can't be handled Would I come back? Probably, because it's one of the very few remaining fairly priced, decent hotels, which are within walking distance from the gondola. I would give it 3 and a half stars (if tripadvisor permitted it)

Comfortable hotel, warm and friendly staff. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Pool area lovely. Overall happy with our experience. A little dated in the bedrooms but very clean. Good mini bar. 5 min walk to restaurants and slopes. Would return to this hotel

Positives The rooms were a good size and the children did get their own bedrooms even though we weren’t expecting that so that was really helpful. The cleaner Margarita for our room was amazing, she did little sculptures everyday with the towels which was a nice touch and made our beds everyday. The ski room Large heated ski room for boots, skis etc which was really good and could be accessed via a side door so no need to walk through the hotel. The Restaurant The hotel food was ok as expected for Bulgaria but beware you can’t wear anything like Crocs or open front or back footwear for any meals. Luckily we all had other footwear but not sure what we would have done if not. The lobby The hotel is really noisy as all the rooms face in towards a lobby as the hotel has an atrium where everyone sits and drinks at night so all the noise travels up to the room even on the 5th floor until 11pm. I hate to think how noisy it would have been if you had a room on the same floor as the lobby. Also some people seem to just let their children run around the floors right outside your doors while they sit downstairs, again until 11pm. There are signs everywhere saying not to bring your own food or drink to consume in the lobby but this was blatantly ignored by many guests as they brought crisps, nuts and five litre water bottle full of wine with them. They just bought a bottle of water from the bar and asked for lots of wines glasses! The spa The spa was a nice touch but it was really busy from 16:00 onwards with no one taking any notice of the maximum number of people in the jacuzzi or saunas. I think the most I saw in the 3 person jacuzzi was 10! The hotel could be so much better if they just sorted a few things

The atrium with the central fireplace is impressive. The location is good but it is a shame about the unloved wasteland surrounding it. The self service food was much better than we expected, plentiful and with good variety. I would have liked coffee to be available at dinner though. The atmosphere in the restaurant is quite gloomy, better lighting would improve it. The staff were very efficient at clearing plates. The rooms are spacious and clean. However the furnishings are shabby eg a chipboard coffee table with rough sawn edges and visible screws, the lighting is also very dim making it impossible to read a book. There was a two ring hob and extractor fan (which had been disconnected) and low and high kitchenette cupboards - all empty, so it seems just for show? not even a teaspoon although there is a kettle. The hotel has a lot potential; with some relatively minor improvements it could be 4star but in reality it is sliding below 3star.

A fantastic hotel with great service! The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, and the staff is very attentive. A special mention to bartender Idris Ismail, who provided outstanding service and made us feel truly welcome. His kindness and professionalism set him apart. Definitely a place I would return to!

Cheap and cheerful hotel, rooms badly need refurbishment, some staff excellent (bar staff) some very rude (reception) One reception staff member was very rude and completely unhelpful. Cleaning staff very nice, always brightened up our day.
