Hotel Eclat Beijing in Beijing

We came for the Gold Diamond Hotel and it definitely lived up to its artistic reputation. The complimentary art tour upon check-in was a feast for our eyes; each floor of the hotel has a unique design style. If you really take your time, half a day probably wouldn't be enough to see everything. The manager even gave us a special tour of the Harry Potter suite, which made the kids incredibly excited for our next stay. With the large pool, scene recreations, and even owl specimens, the design is truly thoughtful. The macarons at the front desk were delicious and a big hit with the kids. Before we left, the manager even thoughtfully gave my daughter a birthday gift. A truly warm and wonderful Gold Diamond Hotel!

I’m writing this review while eating breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and I haven’t even checked out yet—because waiting felt impossible.

Words genuinely cannot express the level of service at Hotel Éclat. From the moment I arrived, every interaction has felt intentional, warm, and effortlessly luxurious. This is the kind of hotel where the small details matter—and they get every single one right.

I’m staying in Room 1815, a terrace room, and it is absolutely stunning. The design, the comfort, the quiet elegance, the thoughtful touches throughout the space—it feels less like a hotel room and more like a perfectly curated private retreat. Stepping out onto the terrace is pure magic.

The service is flawless without ever feeling stiff or overbearing. Staff anticipate needs before you even realize you have them. Everything feels seamless, calm, and deeply considerate.

Hands down, this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in—across any country. Hotel Éclat doesn’t just offer luxury; it offers an experience that makes you feel cared for, relaxed, and genuinely special.

If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate. This is the standard all hotels should aspire to—and very few ever reach.

This is my second time staying at Hotel Éclat, and both the facilities and service are top-notch. Although Parkview Green isn't as bustling as it used to be, it's still beautiful. I'll definitely be back!

My stay at Hotel Eclat Beijing was absolutely amazing! The hotel is filled with art pieces, making it feel like a museum. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the bed quality was superb. Rina Eric at the front desk provided attentive and thoughtful service. The location is excellent, close to Sanlitun, making it convenient for dining and getting around. Definitely a top-notch choice!

The large terrace was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. The breakfast was delicious, and the macarons at the front desk were a delightful treat.

I specifically chose the most basic room type, and it turned out to be much better than expected – really great! The staff's service was also a huge plus. This is one of the few hotels in Beijing that I'd consider rebooking for a date night.

The front desk service was professional and their communication was excellent. The hotel's location is also very convenient.

The room is spacious with a great view overlooking the atrium of The Place. The size of the room is good, but the bathtub/shower right in the middle of the room is a bit… 'romantic,' shall we say? And it's not a double-sink vanity.

Every year for my birthday, I take my family for a short hotel stay to celebrate and have a mini-vacation. This year, I chose The Opposite House. It's a small yet exquisite luxury hotel, full of surprises waiting to be discovered.

The hotel is located within the Parkview Green shopping mall and is part of the SLH (Small Luxury Hotels of the World) group. From the small fish-filled glass ceiling at the front desk to the art-lined corridor leading to the elevators, the hotel's distinctive artistic style is evident everywhere. We stayed in a Deluxe Terrace Twin Room, where a playful and whimsical artistic touch was evident right from the placement of each room number. I noticed that almost every room number was deliberately placed askew, which might drive perfectionists crazy! The room also featured some thoughtful little details, such as a smart toilet, a heated towel rail, and even a massage chair. The terrace was also very comfortable; because the hotel's exterior is enclosed and surrounded by greenery, sitting on the terrace sofa felt like being in a botanical garden (the sofa on the terrace was also very soft and comfortable).

The hotel's bedding was excellent, very comfortable, especially the mattress. Even someone like me, who is a bit particular about beds, couldn't find any fault with it. The toiletries were from Miller Harris's 'Tea Tonique' series, and both the scent and the moisturizing effect on my hair were great.

I'm grateful that the hotel not only provided afternoon tea but also arranged a guided tour for us. Mr. Damon's explanation was very detailed. We visited various art exhibits, big and small, displayed on each floor, feeling like we were in a small art museum. This gave us a deeper understanding of the hotel: each floor has a different artistic style. The 16th floor has a Chinese theme, mainly featuring photographs, and the gym is also on this floor. The 17th floor has a Western theme, with oil paintings and bronze擺件, and a small library that can also be used as a meeting room. The 18th floor has a modern theme, displaying various abstract or avant-garde works. We heard that the Presidential Suite also houses art pieces, but unfortunately, it wasn't available for viewing as guests were staying there. We also toured some of the hotel's themed suites, which successfully piqued my interest in staying there again.

During our stay, the hotel delivered different small treats every evening, and on my birthday, they brought a cake. The staff were all very polite, and room cleaning and replenishment of supplies were always prompt. Plus, being right next to Parkview Green shopping center, and not far from The Place and Parkview Green World City, with Sanlitun just about a 10-minute walk north, it's incredibly convenient to shop and then just stroll back to the room to rest when tired.

The hotel breakfast was semi-buffet style. Both the selectable main courses and the self-service appetizers, bread, and soft drinks were a bit limited in variety. The restaurant itself wasn't very large, filling up quickly after just a few tables, making the space feel a bit cramped. However, there was a good variety of breakfast teas to choose from, which I really liked.

Overall, this was a very satisfying stay. As a young brand, while it may not have the rich historical and cultural heritage of older five-star hotels, the vibrancy and enthusiasm characteristic of a younger brand are its very distinct features. I hope the hotel can improve the variety of its breakfast to make it even more perfect. I look forward to experiencing different styles of suites on my next visit.

Hotel is located in Chaoyang which is embassy district. Good location in upmarket shopping mall. Stayed in deluxe king room which was spacious with very comfortable bed. Bathroom good size and well stocked with amenities. Eclat is an art hotel and it is decorated with Warhol, Dali, amongst other famous art works. I stayed on 18th floor and it was a pleasure to walk to and from my room seeing Warhol and Dali art. Lounge on 16 th floor for breakfast and afternoon tea. Both are very good. Loved the egg benedict and the chocolate mousse cake. Lovely private bar on ground floor for hotel guests. Breakfast, afternoon tea and one cocktail daily included in price. Staff are fantastic and extremely helpful. If you are interested in art ask for a tour of the hotel. I was lucky enough to see the President Suite and two of the pool terrace suites, amazing. Thank you to William Ren, Duty Manager, for showing me around this amazing hotel and providing a cabin room at no charge for my late departure. If I return to Beijing will stay at Eclat again. Hotel also close to Silk Market and subway stations.
